At a tasting at a local liquor store. It was quite fruity, but felt light and insufficient for an unfiltered sake.

On the Shinkansen, we open another bottle of Nara Sake, Kisenju✨. The palate is sweet and sour and yogurt-like. It is light and pleasantly schwishy. It is easy to drink even in a tipsy state! It is also gorgeous and strawberry-like, so it feels like strawberry yogurt. And the last one is Yamazaki 12 years old from sake. We ended our trip with a glass of Shinkansen Gokukkatai ice cream 😌. There are still many places I want to visit, so I will visit Kansai again if I have a chance...!

The 3rd Bishu Competition 2025 Kansai (1) I went to the Bishu Competition in Osaka, where the management and judges are all women 😊. The awarding ceremony was held for an hour between the first and second parts, so it was a little bit difficult to drink during this time 😅. There was a booth with sake from breweries that were not participating in the event, so I had a drink from a brewery I didn't know. Diachiku from Nagano Prefecture. It seems they were bought by a company called Toda Shuhan in Yamanashi and changed their name to Toda Sake Brewery. Diaigiku was drunk by Lutemi before 😊. Fruity, sweet and tasty, but with a bit of bitterness. I wrote "fruity" at first, but it has a full-bodied Japanese sweetness that I like a lot! Where can I buy it?

Sake brought back from our trip to Niigata Sake recommended by the lady who was selling it. Very gassy 💨 Sake with a strong moromi Dry and crisp 💪. It's a nigori sake, but you can drink it with gusto as a food sake 🎵.

Hatsuzakura Junmai Ginjyo Unfiltered Nama Sake This is not "Hatsuzakura" from Yasui Shuzo Brewery in Shiga Prefecture, nor "Noto Hatsuzakura" from Sakurada Shuzo in Ishikawa Prefecture, but "Hatsuzakura" from Hatsuzakura Shuzo in Wakayama Prefecture. It is served cold. The color is clear and the yellow color is clearly visible. The top-tasting aroma is slightly caramelized first, followed by alcohol aroma. The mouthfeel is voluminous with a juicy acidity. The nose is filled with aromas of dried fruits and ripe fruits. The mouth is filled with a nutty flavor and a hint of sweetness, followed by a slightly strong acidity.
