Today I went shopping in town with the kids: 🛍️ We casually stopped by 3coins and saw some Sake 😳.... Recently, KALDI and Chateraise have been carrying them too...so I'm wondering if Sake is becoming popular 🤔. Although... sake at Chateraise is still new to me 💦. So I bought some from 3coins to try ✨. This one seems to be from a sake brewery in Nagasaki, but it's a first for me 😁. When you open the bottle, the aroma is not very strong. A sip from...‼️ It has an apple-like sweetness, so it's not hard to drink at first, but the alcohol taste that comes right away is a bit habitual 💧. I think it leaves a little aftertaste too😅.

I slipped into a restaurant called Kanda Ogawamachi, Ojika-cho, Goto Islands, Nagasaki Prefecture, for my second cup. Since we had limited time, we went for the Junmai Ginjo. The first one was refreshing. The first one was refreshing, whereas this one was gorgeous. In any case, it has no peculiarities and goes perfectly with the seafood of the Goto Islands. I saw this one at a store I sometimes visit and have been curious about it for a long time. I tried Kanenaka, a sake made by Nakajimaya in Shunan City, Yamaguchi Prefecture. The label is very cool. The manager recommended this sake, and it won a prize at a competition in Paris, so I opened the bottle with high expectations. The first saké was cold and the first saké was, "Hmmm? It has a strong unique flavor... It's a bit peculiar because it's a sake brewed from a traditional sake brewery... It's not a good match for me... I think it would be better to warm it up 🤔. I opened it for 2 days and drank it.... It has some kind of sweetness, and it's indescribably rich and delicious 😳. This is what I mean when I say that the taste opens up. It's not for everyone by any means, but I thought it was a good sake with a sense of the creator's commitment. Thank you for the treat 🙏.

On the way back from Yamaguchi, we had 4 hours, so we took the customary izakaya shinkansen (Japanese style bar). This time, we procured our alcohol at a liquor store in Yuda Onsen that has a pretty good lineup, so it's OK👍. Usually, there is no one next to you from the Shinyama exit, even if there is on the way. But this time, there was one person across the middle of the three-seater, then another person in the middle in Okayama, 😱 three people in a row! It's a little tough without space! The sake is Kanenaka Iedenzukuri Namaishime Junmai, limited edition! I've had Nakashimaya, but this is my first time to drink Kanenaka? Yellowish sake, strong taste, with a hint of rice flavor. Alcohol 16%, but it seems a bit stronger than that 😝. It's pretty tasty 😋. Purchased at Sota Watanabe Shoten in August. When I went camping in the summer, I attended with melons from Yamama and Niida Zenshu, but both were gone in an instant, so I didn't raise them to check in 😂. Such is the classic brand of the Niida head family. Did I drink it cold (room temperature) at first? I don't remember. (LOL) I thought it was very tasty when I drank it heated (probably hot)! I thought it was delicious! The complex acidity and umami of the rice, unique to the brewer's yeast, is extended by the warming up of the sake! I love the way the flavor expands when heated. I think it tastes great chilled, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend heating it up. I might want to keep this one on hand. I'm glad I don't have to put the classic in the fridge. I would love to have a fridge for sake, but...

It smells simple and sweet, like freshly baked bread. I have never tasted a sake with such an aroma. The mysterious brewing water is soft, slightly viscous, mineral, and translucent. The sweetness is like freshly baked bread, and the robust, tight rice flavor is as vibrant as ever. There is also a hint of acidity, which is probably due to the use of the sake yeast, but at any rate, it is full of umami. Tamura is a gem that is profound yet light, powerful yet gentle, and a contradiction in terms. It disappeared with a slight sharpness in the back of the throat. In recent years, an increasing number of popular sakes are being hailed as wine-like sake with a sweet and sour taste like grapes. Of course, I like these sake as well. But if you ask me which sake made from rice has the weight, lingering aftertaste, complexity, and simplicity of red wine, I would drink Tamura without hesitation. Tonight, a little early in the evening & first in the series, a Fukunoka Yamahai Jungin Nakakkumi Unfiltered Nama from Kunigon ✨. The aroma is mild cucumber, melon 🍈 The taste has just the right amount of rice and honey-like sweetness, followed by a layer of acidity and spiciness that makes it very easy to drink and I love it 😋😋😋😋.

Naohiko Noguchi Institute I wanted to try. Smells like caramel and grain. It has a dry, drinkable, honey-like sweetness, a strong flavor, powerful acidity, and a clean aftertaste with enough stimulation to numb the tongue. Delicious. Impact like a whiskey. The official recommendation is to drink it lukewarm (around 40 degrees Celsius). The warmer it is, the less stimulating it is. It is a great match for fish, and the fish becomes twice as good with the support. I should have bought another kind. Second day. The second day was also good.

Another Ishioka sake after Shiraga ❤️. This brewery is famous for Watafune and Taiheikai, but the main local sake is Fuchu Homare👍. By the way, yesterday's group consisted of 1 person in his 30s, 1 person in his 40s, 5 people in their 50s, and 2 people in their 60s, so it was fun to drink sake without worrying 😍! We drank 6 gos of Shiroshika, followed by a whole 4 gos bottle of this 😆. Fruity aroma of white grapes 😆. The taste goes down your throat with a grape-like sweetness and a white wine-like acidity. It's almost a white wine compared to the Shiraga we just had ❤️. The richness of the wine is so strong that I could enjoy it with menchikatsu ❤️.
