I found my favorite Satochi at an Izakaya and couldn't resist ordering it😍. The smell of pears. It smells so good. It has a caramel-like sweetness and then a light sourness. The last of the Ohigan parties was the first Kamizenjosui in a long time. I had an image of a more Showa-esque sake, but to my surprise, it really looked like water. It went well with a wide range of foods such as sashimi and Costco high rollers. In other words, it doesn't get in the way. It made me rethink my opinion a little bit. I had never seen this brand before, so I couldn't resist buying it. This is a sake brewery in Shunan City, Yamaguchi. There are about 1,400 sake breweries in Japan, so it's no wonder that there are breweries and brands that I don't know (there are more than 1,000 here). Even if I were to drink one brand every day for the rest of my life, it would take me almost 30 years (^_^;) It's simply impossible. This was an aside. The moment you put it in your mouth, the aroma is distinctive. I wonder what it is, is it the aroma of rice? In total, the aroma is fluffy, the taste is tangy, and the sweetness is warm. I think it's delicious.
