I opened a bottle of "Kitayuki Junmai Ginjo" from Sado Island, Niigata, which I was told about at an izakaya I often visit! It has a sweet aroma from the moment it is poured, and when you take it into your mouth, the sweet and umami flavors quickly run out, leaving you with a gentle, smooth, and clear image of the after-flavor! Whether it is the water or the brewing method, I am addicted to this clear aftertaste! With only one month left in this year, I'm getting drunk and thinking that it's time to narrow down the bottle of 2022 that I will choose 🍶.

I had never seen this brand before, so I couldn't resist buying it. This is a sake brewery in Shunan City, Yamaguchi. There are about 1,400 sake breweries in Japan, so it's no wonder that there are breweries and brands that I don't know (there are more than 1,000 here). Even if I were to drink one brand every day for the rest of my life, it would take me almost 30 years (^_^;) It's simply impossible. This was an aside.
