I bought a bottle of Ayagiku's raw sake because it seems to be rare. I bought it at Okura Sake Shop in front of Tamatsukuri Station. It is a new store opened this year. They seem to carefully select and handle brands that are not found in the Kansai region. They have a wide selection of sake brands such as Rairaku, Kinshi Morinori, Shonosato, Hizen Kurashin, Chitose Mori, Kikunoi, Hakuryu (Fukui Prefecture), Ayagiku, Hanashimi, Zoka, Morinokura, Rokkasen, Tenzan, etc. Sake made with Sanuki olive yeast. The fourth and final bottle I bought from Gonoi Sake Store's free shipping campaign is Karahashi, which is one of my favorite brands ❗ As I wrote in my previous review, it is brewed by Homare Shuzo, the family of freelance announcer Yumi Karahashi 😘. I've had the Yamada Nishiki black kara-hashi a few times before, but I've missed the Yume-no-Koh white kara-hashi a few times at my local liquor store, so I took this opportunity to pop it ☝️. The upfront aroma is a hint of strawberry🍓. It's sweet and delicious at first, but after swallowing, the bitter and sour aftertaste spreads slowly. It's dry compared to Haneya's Aizan, which I opened just before, but I like it because it's not overpowering, and it goes well with almost anything😄. It's a shame that the brand name is not registered on Sake no Wa... 😢.
