Had this special high grade sake from Oujiman brewery. It has a 6% rice polishing ratio!! I loved its mellow fruity notes and a elegantly clean finishing, it keeps tempt you to drink it. I'll definitely buy this again next time.

Tonight, our first series, Kikuyu by Yoshikawa Brewery from Isehara City, Kanagawa Prefecture. It is 100% Dewa Sanzu, Junmai Nama-no-Hajime made with Kyoukai No. 6 yeast. It has a ginjo aroma between cucumber and pear, and the first sip is clear with a full sweetness, but later on, a strong bitterness and alcohol taste follows, making it dry and smooth.

Tonight, we decided to open a new sake once in a while, so we had this one from the Yoshikawa Sake Brewery in Kanagawa Prefecture. Junmai Nigori Sake - Luxurious Aragoshi ✨✨✨✨. The sake seems to have been bottled after the new sake unrefined sake has been roughly fermented 😄. The aroma has a hint of pear and apple. When you take a sip, you can feel the gasiness and acidity, but it is juicy and delicious 😋😋😋😋 When you mix the lees, you can feel the sweetness of the rice and the creaminess increases, which is also delicious 😋😋. I thought it might be limited to direct sales, but I was able to buy it at a liquor store. If you go down the shopping street near Okamachi Station, you will find an old shopping center with a supermarket in it. This is a community-based liquor store that is housed in it. They carry a wide variety of sake brands such as Yukitsuru, Asakayousei, Katanozakura, Kaygetsu, Sakura Masamune, Ootsuru, Shiraoi, Haginoduro, Shikizakura, and others. They seemed to be putting a lot of effort into craft beer and wine. The rice is Gohyakumangoku and Koshibuki. The rice is lightly cloudy to the point of being orikara. Basically, it is spicy, but the entrance is clean, and it tastes good with a firm umami and acidity in the latter half.

Nagano Sake Festival ④ Kaorin went to Kyoto for her college reunion today, so I was excited to see what I could enjoy by myself, but the phone rang first thing in the morning to inform me that the equipment was out of service due to a work error by the manufacturer😅🥲. I went to the center to see what was going on, but they managed to get the equipment back up and running, so I came home, but it was halfway through the day and there was nothing I could do... I guess I'll just have to drink this one 🤣. The sake I'm going to drink is the Kutsukake Shuzo's Fukumugari, which I bought on a brewery tour in Ueda this spring. The brewery is located in Nagano prefecture and the people who were born in the year 59 formed the "Gokujo" group and they brew a theme sake every year. The rice polishing ratio is 59%😇. It was a sake with a lot of flavor 😀. I didn't really feel the fruity feeling that is typical of Nagano sake, but the core umami was very drinkable, like an expression of the sake's assertion 😀. If I could, I would like to try the other 4 bottles from the other breweries in the Gokujokai, but I guess that would be impossible 🤣.
