Today I went back to my hometown for the first time in six months. The wife requested to see hydrangeas, so we went to the hydrangea garden and got soaked in sweat 💦. After a delicious meal and bath, we opened a bottle of this sake that the wife liked and purchased at the event. The brewer was easy to talk to and calm, which made a good impression on us. ⭕️ The aroma is fresh and pear-like, and the mouthfeel is clean and refreshing. It has a clean and mellow taste in the mouth, a little dry, and is very easy to drink with a nice sharp taste 😄. It tastes better than usual in the countryside, probably because you are in a completely relaxed mode 😌. The sound of frogs croaking in the background made for a peaceful evening with my husband and wife 🐸. We also bought a bottle of summer sake here which was also delicious 😊.

A souvenir from a business trip to Niigata. My colleague introduced me to Miyakoya and I bought it. It was a very tasty sake with the beautiful lightness and umami of Niigata. The bonito was also very nice and fatty, so it made for a good dinner.

I was drinking it on 7/1. It is aromatic, fruity, sweet from the rice, and refreshingly delicious. Niigata is a great place after all! My daughter had it with her lunch of seared nodoguro (northern bluefin tuna) 😊My daughter had it with her lunch of hegisoba (buckwheat noodles) and tarekatsu (pork cutlet with sauce) and drank it with takachiyou. Yum! She mumbled like Mr. Purgatory and only gave me a small bite 🤣.
