Slurp kaa - tongue tingling. Alcohol content 21 degrees! I bought it on the way home from overtime work. Kikusui Shuzo has been a customer of mine for the Kikusui Funaguchi Ichiban Shibori, which is available at convenience stores and supermarkets before I started using Sake No Wa. I remember that it was a pioneer of canned raw sake. Thanks to this technology, we now have more opportunities to offer unpasteurized sake to the world, and I think this is an immeasurable achievement in the sake world. I could go on and on, but according to the label, this sake is classified as a "liqueur". At any rate, I'll note in my memorandum that it was a sweet and dangerous drink.

Purchased at Kintetsu Department Store event, Sake Tour. I compared it with Junmai Ginjo and was impressed with this one, so I bought it. Fresh and citrusy? It is sweet at the beginning, but the sweetness and umami come in the second half of the bottle. I have to admit that I've only seen Hyo Hyohi at department store events. Apparently, the brewery that makes the sake is in Awa City, which is different from the address on the label.

It is that time of year again! This year's Mr. Summer Time was a grand presentation event, inviting circus members to the Kanmei Sake Brewery for a mini-concert of sorts. I couldn't go, though. The aroma of this year's product is a little subdued. I like that mewashi aroma, though. The mouthfeel is strong and dark, and the harmony of umami and sweetness is wonderful! It is a departure from the low-alcohol, light summer sake style, and is more like a munchy, dirty summer night. Despite the strong flavor, the sharpness of the sake is very refreshing, so it is easy to drink. Of all the summer liquors, this one is my favorite. Thank you very much for your kindness!

Every year I look forward to the Risshun morning pressing... this year, I'm going to enjoy a bottle of TENRANZAN! When the bottle is opened, it has a pleasant fruity aroma...freshly pressed, lightly cloudy, and fresh because it is freshly pressed...the balance of sweet and bitter is unstable, with a certain sharpness...but the aftertaste is crisp! The restaurant does not seem to be a sake store, but the lineup always draws me in. This time, I ordered "SENKOURI" and this was the sake I ordered. Fresh! But almost no acidity. The pear 🍐-like aroma, slight fizziness, sweet and fruity attack, and pleasant bitterness in the aftertaste, the Machida Brewery's characteristics are still intact. It has a gorgeous taste, and I don't have the palate to comment on the differences from the Machida Brewery in my memory😅. Rice used is something from Kyushu It was sent together with eel as a hometown tax return gift from Isahaya City❗️. It is a clear and dry sake with good sharpness ‼️. The sweetness is just a hint and goes well with eel. I was curious about the sake brewery that has the same name as Okinawa "Reimei", but I see they are related. It is interesting to see how many things are connected in this industry.

I got this on a trip to Nagasaki last year. I will have it while thinking back to the delicious Turkish rice and Sara Udon noodles 🤤. When you open the bottle and pour it, the aroma is sweet and fluffy, like pudding or custard. The aroma is gentle and soothing. The mouthfeel is smooth and silky, but as the aroma suggests, it has a pudding-like flavor and a moist sweetness that fills the mouth 🍮. On the other hand, it also has a slightly tangy and pungent acidity that gives it a lightness, so it has a good balance of depth of flavor and a sharpness that goes down your throat👍. In the latter half of the bottle, the astringent taste also comes out, so the flavor can be felt as caramelized. There are also the standard "Yokoyama Goju" and "Rokujyosu", and I remember that I had a lot of trouble finding a variety at the Nagasaki airport. I also drank Nagasaki sake several times, and it seems to me that the level of sake is as high as that of shochu 😌.
