Special Junmai sake with 60% polished rice ratio I bought the jacket because of the impressive cartoonish, retro Showa-era "Oniotome" illustrations. The illustration was done by Minako Sonobe. It is made with "Homare-Fuji" sake rice developed in Shizuoka Prefecture. It has a calm aroma and an elegant, gentle taste with a well-balanced flavor, and it tastes great on the finish!

It says Gotenzakura in small letters on the lower left corner of the front label, but I was told that it was a PB from a local liquor store. Sake made with LED dream yeast from Tokushima🍶. The aroma on the nose is gorgeous and fruity. When you put it in your mouth, you can taste the smooth sweetness and umami. It also has a fruity overtone. This sake has a good aroma. I'm at my new place today! We had a glass of local sake at the busi-hotel to pray for a new start👍. The mouthfeel is surprisingly soft and the flavor in the mouth is like custard cream or banana au lait! The texture is also soft on the tongue. I think I may have never tasted such a soft sake! It feels light and refreshing for a moment, but then it hits you hard right after. It is quite sweet when drunk on its own, but when paired with a meal, it feels very spicy 😳. Well, even by itself, the spiciness comes through in the latter half of the bottle 😅. It has a sweetness like honey or sugar candy. I think the Sandesi watered down raw sake I bought at Harukas was easier to drink 🤔. It's easier to drink if you take it out of the fridge and let it sit for a bit 😋. I think I prefer Sandesi's raw sake in total because it's watered down and has more flavor.
