First brand name Kita no Hana. It is a backroom deal with a sake teacher. Even if I say it is a backroom deal, he will sell me any rare sake at the same price I bought it from the liquor store, and even if I tell him I will take care of the transportation costs, he stubbornly refuses to accept it. I told them that if I sold them at a higher price, the liquor store would take me on as a reseller, and after that, they would never sell me rare sake. The fact that you can normally drink Jyushiyo at home is based on the mutual trust between the seller and the buyer. Kita no Hana, the label is very attractive. I don't detect much of the Kamitatekoso, but there is a round, unfamiliar aroma in the back of the bottle. The mouthfeel is moist, calm, and elegant with sweetness and soft umami, and the rounded aroma in the aftertaste is fruity. The acidity and bitterness are both moderate, and it has a mysterious sharpness that just flutters and closes. It is really a round, gentle and mysterious sake, and this must be one of its balances. At home. First time in Saitama. I couldn't find Saitama easily, so I searched by the name of the prefecture and finally found it. The aroma is grainy and nutty. The mouthfeel is smooth and fresh, and it has a sweet taste of grain. The sourness and bitterness were not so strong. From the label, I thought it would be heavy, but it was easy to drink.

It is like a local sake, and the bitterness in the aftertaste is a bit of a problem, but...it soaks into your guts...it goes well with strong flavored snacks...smoked hoya and stewed tuna...I enjoy it with a little bit of it....

OSAKA SAKE & FOOD EXPO 2024 (2) Gindagawa, which I have had a cup of special honjozo or something before. Was Gintagawa sold in Niigata? I thought it was a classic type, but unlike the image on the label, the acidity was noticeable and it was a bit modern? It looks like it would go well with Western food 🍴.

Honjozo 🍶 JR East Kyun ♥ Pass one-day trip to Niigata 🚃. First, we took the Shinkansen to Niigata. Go to Aomi shopping center in Honmachi 🚌. Much darker. The sake 😅. Match with Cod Milt Tempura 👍. It is too strong by itself, but it becomes delicious when combined with snacks. I bought a bottle of Hana-no-i special junmai sake, labeled "Thieving Cat," at Nishioka Honten in Makabe, which I stopped by on my way to the Tsukuba Rin-Rin Road on a rainy day the other day. I have had this sake before, but there is something different about sake bought at a sake brewery.

Homecoming Series ⑨ I went to Nishioka Honten in Makabe, Ibaraki Prefecture, and purchased a BY6 unfiltered, unpasteurized sake. It is a genuine Ibaraki sake made from Hitanishiki produced in Ibaraki Prefecture. It has an unadorned flavor, as is typical of Supin's sake. It is dry, with a short, refreshing aftertaste! The alcohol content is 17 degrees, which is proof that it is well fermented. The aroma is not assertive, and as a food sake it is first class!

Sakemonogatari in Kansai(*) It is a hiyaoroshi of honjozo with a slightly sweet taste and a sense of grain! It is well balanced, probably because it is a honjozo. I would definitely like to drink it with an appetizer!
