profile iconThis junmai ginjo-shu is made by polishing up to 53% Gohyakumangoku produced in Kitakata. Only the most delicious part of the sake, the "Nakadorari" part, is bottled. It has a refreshing effervescence that lightly and refreshingly stimulates the tip of the tongue. It has a juicy, sweet taste that is typical of Gohyakumangoku with hints of kiwi and green apple. This is the "Naraman" finish! This is the "Naraman" finish.

profile iconI went to Yokoshiba on business and stopped by. Room temperature: Soft in the mouth, with a rich bitterness and umami before the aroma. When you finish it, the spiciness comes and the sweetness remains on your tongue. Chilled: A faint aroma and sourness in the mouth. As it rolls around in the mouth, the umami flavor rolls over the tongue, and the full-bodied flavor quickly disappears. It has been a while since I have encountered this type of sake, but it is addictive 👅 I would like to drop by the brewery again, as it is not widely distributed.

profile iconTakatsugawa is an everyday sake from Shimane's Fusozuru. Full-bodied and full of flavor when cold. Warmed up, it is a warm and mild sake. It goes well with solid everyday dishes and can also be drunk with oshiruko (soup stock). It is a soft, matured sake with a low price, and I love its mellow, umami taste.

profile iconSuddenly my tooth was not feeling well and I had to go to the dentist in a hurry. This time there was no anesthesia and no pain, so I went to an event at the Hanshin Department Store that was being held. I bought my favorite Japanese sweets at the event and drank sake to go with them. The wagashi I chose was an easy-to-eat warabimochi. The kinako (soybean flour) was done to a strong flavor and was not too sweet. I had the sake I chose heated. The sake is aged for 2 to 3 years before being bottled at the best drinking time, so the hot sake had a delicious flavor that enhanced the caramel and nutty taste. When I saw the aged color, I thought it wouldn't go well with warabimochi (rice cakes), but it went well with kinako (soybean flour) and was delicious.

We ordered this sake last season because it was commented on the website of Kotobukiya in Atsugi as a "hidden gem for home drinking. It is a junmai sake with 70% polished rice. Good coloring👍

profile icon🎍 A belated Happy New Year ㊗️ Finally our HP has recovered: ❤️‍🩹 At the time of the earthquake, I was preparing for an away-from-home relatives' banquet and had four oil heaters on and was frying fried chicken. Anyway, I moved to put out the fire, but the tremors were absurdly long and hard. I had to hold my breath during the shaking. The quake was intensity 5, but I don't think there was any damage. I hope those who were affected by the earthquake can return to their normal lives soon. The away party will be held amidst the earthquake early warning. We had no choice but to drink, so we opened a bottle of this sake. It seems to be a sake from Saku. It is easy to drink, perfect for eating, and I gobbled it up. It was delicious 😋. 5.5 drinkers finished two bottles 🤣. Well, this is how we will do it again this year. Oh, I'm going to work so hard 💪.

profile iconThen the middle one, "Senryo Otokoyama. Honey-like aroma. The mouthfeel is silky, but the flavor is similar to a juku-shu type. It has a honey and syrupy feel with a touch of pettiness. However, it is easy to drink, with no harshness or bitterness, perhaps because the overall assertiveness is modest! It is crisp but dense. It is a deep taste that is hard to describe!

After that, I lost at mahjong 🀄️, but it was fun, so it's all right. Now my batteries are recharged for the year-end and New Year's holidays! The only thing left to do now is discharge the batteries.
