I drank it as a finale, so I was too drunk to remember much about the taste. But I am sure it was delicious. I am sure it was well-balanced and beautiful.
Slightly cloudy. Sake with a rich balance of acidity and sweetness with the umami of rice. It is typical of Sentori. It goes well with balsamic vinegar and meat.
This dry sake hides the fishy smell of sashimi in a good way and brings out its flavor. It is an excellent pairing with sashimi, but is apparently no longer produced.
The first Ryusei! If you drink it with your eyes closed, you might mistake it for Shinsei. The acidity and juiciness are the best! I want to try the others.
The third bottle of sake purchased on our trip to Niigata, Jange. As I expected from the clerk's comment that it was the best of the three, it was delicious. It was summery and super refreshing. It was a typical Niigata sake with a crisp and clean finish. No acidity, mild aroma.
A bottle of Murayu was recommended to me at a Tokamachi liquor store. It is easy to drink and refreshing, with a strong acidity. According to my friend, it has a muscat flavor. It has a slight aroma. It is easy to drink, just like summer, but has a strong umami flavor. It's delicious!
I'll be a repeat customer for Murayu ✨.
Purchased at Echigo Yuzawa Station Ponshu-kan. This is the sake I liked the most after tasting it. It has a strong aroma and flavor, but is mild. Slightly acidic. The rice that has been stored in the snow chamber makes it mellower!
First bottle on our trip to Niigata
Slightly effervescent sake with the sweetness and flavor of Omachi. Fresh and juicy like a peach. Very tasty and surprising. Served with horse mackerel namenuri.
This year's beetle is definitely more acidic. Grapefruitiness, white wine-like mouthfeel. I paired it with scallop carpaccio. It was summery, refreshing, and crisp.
I finally got my hands on the Mashidaya collection from Ona, the pride of Tochigi. This is the jackpot✨.
It strangely doesn't have much flavor right after you put it in your mouth, but then the sourness and rice flavor comes gradually, and the flavor changes 3 times. It ends quickly, so this was also a mystery to me. I wonder why they can make it this way. I was surprised. ❗️
I bought this Ona and Tobiroki at cost as a set. It was for Tobiroki, but it is a wonderful sake that made me realize the goodness of Ona again.
I am the one who commented before! I didn't notice your comment...sorry. I'm so glad you even recommended it to me ♥ I definitely want to try the Senkou beetles this year! I'll get it!
It has a wonderful balance of refreshing acidity and clean sweetness. It has a delicious aftertaste like the air drifting in the magnificent nature of the sea and mountains.
Serve with stir-fried duck and green onion. The oil from the duck meat is quickly drained away, leaving a faint sourness in the mouth. It goes well with the dish!
Akabu is good, and I'm looking forward to sea✨.
You found it, Tobiroki. It's hard to find, so it's a pleasure to enjoy. The aroma is good. When you put it in your mouth, the sweetness of the rice spreads and finishes crisp and clean. But the lingering sweetness remains slightly and has a strong presence. Purchased at cost, set with Ona!
Looking forward to Ona too✨
The first Shichisui is seasonal. At first, it has a juicy grapefruit sweet and sour taste, with the sweetness and aroma coming later. This sake is a fun chase between sourness and sweetness. It soaks up the aftertaste of camping.
I wanted to try drinking Nanamizu in each of the four seasons!
There is no aroma, but the flavor of rice spreads with a gusto in the mouth. The aroma is then enhanced. Akabu is not to be missed. It is good value for money since it costs about 1,350 yen. It went well with fatty sashimi!
I guess it is medium dry.
