It's been a long time since I've had this brew.
It has a clean but complex aftertaste.
It's like a guy who can do his job, but has his own unique characteristics.
This is the second time I've had Ishizuchi! It's a mellow, umami-guchi, authentic style. I think it's a little more peculiar as a food sake than drinking it as it is...I enjoy it with yakitori....
The color is clear, and the aroma is soft with a hint of plum. Although it is said to be a local brew, it does not have an overpowering aroma.
It has a rounded mouthfeel, with rice flavors and a hint of flavor spreading out on the tip of the tongue, and finishes with the distinctive crispness of sakaguchi.
I was recommended this sake because it is both modern and classic 🍶.
It is refreshing on the palate, but the sweetness is medium to small, and the rice flavor is strong and robust, but not too heavy and smooth 😊.
It would probably taste even better at room temperature or heated 🤔.
Hi, Chirsta 😃.
Our first Ehime sake was Sandesi from Ishizuchi and that was a long time ago 🧐 I'm curious about Kochira, which is modakra 😋 I would like to try it!
