A drink in Otsuka with a junior colleague who will be transferred to Sendai. A 300ml bottle of Taiheizan's Namahashimoto Junmai is really smooth, beautiful, and has a nice umami flavor. We enjoyed it with grilled pork 👍

I felt the scent had hints of cherry, rice, banana and pear. Some fruity hints in the flavor at the opening that expands to a very pleasantly rich Kimoto taste.

It is only available in Akita Prefecture, but I ordered it from a flier at a cooperative. It is a delicious sake with a good balance of acidity and crispness that is typical of Akita.
