Local sake.
We couldn't go home this year, so we ordered some.
It's not as fancy as some of you are making it out to be, but it's Fromm Noda's favorite sake.
I think it tastes better at room temperature or warm than cold.
The smell is the same, but when you put it in your mouth, it gives you a "guffaw"☺️.

野田市 窪田酒造
利根運河散歩で立ち寄った酒蔵
地元流通用だが、ココアやチョコレートの風味、そこはかとなくみりんのような甘さもあり、個性豊かな酒。

国産米60%磨き、酸度−1、日本酒度1.5
濃醇辛口に類しますが甘みが強く、トロッとした質感があり、優しい味醂のような印象です。常温では杉の香り仄か、懐かしい昔の日本酒を連想します。御燗にすると惚れ惚れとする程旨味豊かに膨らみ、甘みのキレもよく、口の中で回せば奥の方に苦味と酸味も見つけることができます。
トマトスライスなどには不向きですが、出汁のよく効かせた和食から漬物、煮物、更には京料理のような上品な料理にもピッタリと合いました。
