My partner got a bottle at Yamashin, a local sake bar in Echigo-Yuzawa, and liked it so much that he bought the actual bottle! Orikagarami~ Snow is dancing in the bottle~⛄ The aroma is refreshing. When the bottle is opened, it is a bit sizzling. The freshness that can only be achieved by nama sake is irresistible. The sweetness is moderate and the taste is crisp and juicy. It enhances the taste of food! We enjoyed it with a hot pot filled with snow mushrooms, which we also purchased in Niigata.

As for the taste, my partner is right, so I'll just say it's a little under 2,000 yen for a 4-pack! In terms of cost performance, it scores over 90 points, or 87 points if you don't care about the price.

I have loved this drink ever since I first encountered it a few years ago. The aroma is soft and gorgeous. The moment you put it in your mouth, the fresh and clear sweetness spreads, The sweetness and umami lingers on the palate, yet it goes down your throat nicely. It is sweet, but not at all cloying, so you can drink it in gulps 💗. As one would expect from a sake offered in first class on ANA's international flights in 2018! I think even foreigners who are new to sake will get hooked on this one. I think even foreigners who are new to sake will get hooked on this. I love the name "Akanesasu" too! Akanesasu shimeno yori mibeno yori nomori wa mimi ya kimi ga sode wo waving This is one of my favorite poems in the Manyoshu, so I feel more and more a connection with it. I am glad to have met you! One of my guesses!

I received this from my boss at work! It is a limited distribution sake from Yoshida Shuzo, which produces "Gassan" in Shimane Prefecture. Tomonori" is the name of the brewery's president. The aroma is fresh and fruity. The first sip is fresh and sweet. You can feel the delicious taste of rice on your tongue, I liked the lingering sweetness. I looked up what domestic sake brewing rice is, I found out that it is "Sakanishiki," Shimane Prefecture's original sake rice, and this may be the first sake made with this rice.

My partner drank it in Niigata and liked it so much that he bought it for me as a souvenir. The unlabeled bottle is cool and rugged! The aroma is soft and fruity! In the mouth, there is a sweetness, followed by a little gasiness. Fresh, unfiltered, and raw sake! The aftertaste is dry and refreshing! Delicious! Kuransho = Kuranjin It is said that the name was given in the hope that people would drink it as if they were kurabito (brewers). The naming is wonderful!

2024 Here is the first one! Hyakurugakumon was given to me by my in-laws in Osaka. The fruity aroma spreads out. The first sip is sweet! Perhaps it is because it is a bit thick, but it leaves a sweet taste in the mouth. I was a little disappointed that I could not taste the freshness of nama-zake. It may not be the way to go, but I would have liked to drink it with carbonated water.

This is the first new sake of the crop that I have had! It is fire-aged, but it has a great freshness as if it has not been fire-aged! It shows the high level of technique. And even though it is fresh, it also has a strong umami flavor and is one of the most impressive bottles in terms of cosmetics! I wish I could drink this every year.

At the end of the year, I went home and had a big family gathering, so I opened a bottle of this one! The aroma is good! The first sip has a gentle sweetness that spreads softly. I had heard that it was aged for 3 years, but there is no hint of old sake or peculiarity at all, and it goes down my throat easily! But it has a nice lingering aftertaste. There is no tingling feeling of alcohol, so you can easily drink two or three sips at a time. I opened it in no time at all. It was the perfect bottle for a lively year-end dinner table.

My partner got this one in Niigata on his way back from skiing. The label is very stylish! The aroma is mellow and fruity, like melon. The first sip is a whiff of its aroma and sweetness! However, there is a slight alcohol taste in the bottom part of the mouth. Hmmm... I might not like it. I wish the initial feeling lasted all the way to the throat. I wonder if this feeling is a characteristic of Koshi-tanrei. I drank it in a sake cup, but it might have been softer and fuller if I poured it into a wine glass or something.

My favorite Nanaken sparkling sake. Lightly cloudy, sweet and very easy to drink! It's quite shwashy! Second fermentation in the bottle, so the bubbles are very fine, which makes it even more pleasant to drink 😀. I liked it very much. I really like Shichiken! I'm also interested in Hoshinoki, a dry sparkling wine, and Morino Kanade, which is aged in Hakushu whiskey barrels!

Here is the one I was looking forward to today! Hato Masamune of One Life Time 🕊. First, the aroma, not gorgeous but clean and pleasant. The first sip has a modest sweetness and umami that spreads softly. Then, a hint of sourness like apples, and a touch of alcohol. And the finish is refreshing. Wow. Very easy to drink! I can't wait to try the rice wine! AQE (Aomori Quattro Esperanza) is the strongest unit formed by four breweries representing Aomori Prefecture. Nishida Sake Brewery "Tasake Toyobai" by Miura Shuzo Hachinohe Shuzo "Mutsu Hachisen Hato Masamune "Hato Masamune These four breweries brewed "Ichigo Futae" under the theme of sake rice. Ichigo-ni-kai? What does that mean? What does that mean? The explanation on the box convinced me! Tasake" and "Hato Masamune" are brewed using contract-cultivated rice "Toyobai Rice" by Miura Shuzo, a well-known brewer of "Toyobai"! Both are made from 48% polished Toyobai rice. Both are brewed with 48% rice polished to 48% Toyobai rice, with an alcohol content of 16 degrees. A miracle sake that you will never be able to drink again ♥

I came across a very special set of these famous Aomori brands for 3,000 yen per bottle and bought it immediately! This Hato Masamune is a well-balanced junmai daiginjo with a flavor that is right in the middle of clean and rich sweetness. It is a nice sake with no quirks. 90 points.

The owner of Tsukii Sake Shop in Nasu recommended this bottle to me. Yumesasara" is a new rice suitable for sake brewing developed by Tochigi Prefecture over a period of 13 years, and is said to be suitable for daiginjo. A little bit of a whiff when opening the bottle (^o^). A clear, fruity aroma. Then, in the mouth, juicy sweetness spreads, and finally a little sourness. I usually don't like sourness, but I don't dislike this sourness at all. In fact...I like it.(lol) Thanks to this sourness, it clears my throat and makes me want to take another sip! As one would expect from a sake that won a gold medal at the 2021 National New Sake Competition! I met a nice sake ♡♡♡♡!

A blessing celebration that I stocked up on during a recent day trip to Kururi. Twenty-nine percent is a lot of polish! Today, we opened the bottle at camp! Good aroma! First sip... piri piri. But, it is so refreshing that it goes down your throat without a hitch. A refreshing daiginjo! I paired it with fresh baby sardines and horse mackerel tataki that I bought this morning at Numazu Port, and it was the perfect combination☺. I noticed it was empty... Fukufuku, the name is also beautiful! I wonder if "twenty-nine percent" or "twenty-nine" means "fuku" in Japanese. A perfect sake for celebrations 🎉.

I found this one at Tenyo Sake Shop in Akita Prefecture. The owner said, "If you want to take this to a desert island, this is the one to take! So I bought it. Today I got some delicious local sashimi from Izu, so I opened a bottle to go with it. The aroma is good! Expectations are high! First sip, mellowness! I love this! I love it! It has a bit of an alcoholic taste at first, but after getting the sashimi with salt, it mellows out and the horns disappear, making it a perfect match! I finished it in no time. I was so happy 😭.

One of the bottles I stocked on my trip to Tohoku. Tonight is a seafood hot pot with a clam broth at home, so I opened a bottle to go with it. The aroma is gorgeous - a nice aroma! When I sipped it, I was surprised at the sourness... Surprisingly sour... And then, a little bit of a tang...? But when paired with a meal, the acidity mellows out and the wine is easy to drink.

It is a junmai daiginjo, but it is a refreshing sake rather than a rich and full-bodied one. It is not too sweet, so it goes well with any meal (seafood🍲). The brewery seems to have been damaged by the flooding, but please hang in there! 82 points!

Collaboration sake with restaurant "NOBU". The aroma is gorgeous and fruity. The moment you put it in your mouth, the sweetness spreads, but soon you feel the alcohol like a dry sake. It has a light and refreshing taste that is hard to believe it is a honjozo. It has a light and refreshing taste that one would not expect from a honjozo, and its richness and sweetness of rice are not as good as daiginjo-style sake, but I thought it was the most cost-effective sake for everyday drinking. It scores 70 points in terms of taste, but when you consider the cosmetics, it scores about 90 points!
