Itzumi Shuzo is the smallest brewery on Sado Island. This brewery is famous for Itsuki, which was introduced by V6's Sakamoto, but Itsuki was sold out, so I bought this one. The color of the sake is a little bit dark, and the taste is very strong at 17%. It has the umami taste and aftertaste typical of Yamahai, and it is delicious, but it is very strong. Be careful not to drink too much.
The person who explained the brewery to me was very simple and did not try to sell me anything in a good way. He explained that he was sorry for the lack of sake and that this was the only sake available, which was a very favorable impression. I will support this brewery!
Sake from Itzumi Shuzo, the smallest sake brewery on Sado Island
Rough grains of lees remain in the bottle.
Stir the bottle slowly and carefully open the cork.
Be careful not to spill the bottle!
Fine carbonation, as if it were an ambassador without sweetness.
or a squall, it will wash away even the fatty sashimi of Sado Island.
Local fish and local sake are the best!
It is a sake from Sado Island. You can drink it clean and clear. Anyway, it is refreshing. I thought it was a nama-shu, but it is not a nama-shu because it is a nama-stored sake. There are several good sakes on Sado Island, so I'll leave this as the runner-up.
This is one that I buy when I find it and keep in rolling stock. It is milder, sweeter, and richer than the original. It is also delicious warmed, but it was too hot to drink it cold this time.
Sake tasting at Niigata Station.
The last one here is Maryo.
Slightly fruity aroma.
It had a good balance of spiciness and acidity.
Above all, sake tasting was fun from noon 😊.
Purchased by my father (mail order from Nishikiya Sake Shop in Niigata City)
This sake has the flavor of rice, which is typical of sake, and is easy to drink.
It has no sense of brewer's alcohol at all, making it perfect as a drinking sake.
Cheap and easy to drink
