Fukuiwai純米大吟醸 二割九分
りえのす
A blessing celebration that I stocked up on during a recent day trip to Kururi. Twenty-nine percent is a lot of polish!
Today, we opened the bottle at camp!
Good aroma!
First sip... piri piri.
But, it is so refreshing that it goes down your throat without a hitch.
A refreshing daiginjo!
I paired it with fresh baby sardines and horse mackerel tataki that I bought this morning at Numazu Port, and it was the perfect combination☺.
I noticed it was empty...
Fukufuku, the name is also beautiful!
I wonder if "twenty-nine percent" or "twenty-nine" means "fuku" in Japanese. A perfect sake for celebrations 🎉.

Sake of the strongest class of clear Junmai Daiginjo! No cloying taste, no habits, but a strong sake richness and not clingy sweetness. This sake was made in Kururi, where the water is delicious. 94 points!
