The last time we had Junmai sake, so this time we chose Junmai Ginjo.
The aroma smells a little bit like cemedine 😂.
I felt it was dry and refreshing.
I didn't find it too fruity 😅.
It's a nice clear dry taste 😋.

The New Year's party is over and we are back to normal operation today!
The first bottle of "W" was opened 🍶.
The aroma is fruity, but the taste is clean and dry. ⁉️
It's been a long time since I've had a dry, refreshing sake 😅.
I knew it was this one. I'm leaning towards the same type of taste when I learn it, but I can taste and savor many different kinds of sake 😅.
It's so deep...
I'm still getting it while feeling like I still have a lot of training to do 😂.

Back to normal operation today.
Tonight is the standard sake🍶 from "Sairai".
The aroma is fruity but clean. It has a moderate sweetness, but the aftertaste is clean and cleanly erased. It has a crisp aftertaste, so you can drink it as much as you want.
This is another hard-to-find sake for my family, but it was a sake that we wanted even if we had to make a long trip to get it 😋.

The second bottle today was our family's staple sake, Akabu 🍶 This is one of my wife's favorites and we always go out and buy it regularly, but my son was also a fan 😊.
Needless to say, it's just delicious 😋It's a shame you can't get this locally, but it's worth the trip and since we opened another bottle tonight, we have to plan for the next one to come along 😅.
As the New Year's party comes to an end, I'm going to have to check out more and more of your comings and goings in hopes of bringing you some sake that I haven't seen yet this year.

The third New Year's party was "Sono Kangiku" 39🍶.
We took our daughter-in-law for her favorite sake, but unfortunately she was not here tonight, so we opened the bottle with the rest of the party!
It has just the right amount of acidity and a refreshing feeling, and it's also delicious 😋I've had almost nothing but good feedback on the sake I drank, but I wonder if I can sum it up by saying sake is good 😋 ⁉️😅It hasn't been a year since I joined Sakenowa, but I've used your comments as a reference 🙇.
I'll be drunk again tonight thanks to all the good Sake I get to drink 😂😂.

Today's second bottle is the first in the "Kahayo Yoku" series 🍶I was excited to be able to bring this bottle to you as I had a feeling that it would be a difficult brand to obtain.
Fruity and refreshing aftertaste
It was delicious 😂. It's a shame that it's so hard to find 😂.

The second New Year's banquet was "Shinsei" Viridian 2023🍶.
The party started slowly tonight, probably because of last night's party.
The viridian was well received, but everyone was very restrained and the drinks didn't go very far 😅.
I guess I'll be drinking alone tonight 😅⁉️
Well, the night is long, so let's get on with it 😋 Today's snack is sukiyaki🍲.
At my age, a small amount of good meat with a lot of meat sticks is enough to fill my stomach 🈵.

The 5th bottle at the party was "Saku", one of my son's favorite brands.
It's been a long time since my daughter brought me a bottle of Saku at the end of the year🍶I'm glad she did😅.
My daughter and son-in-law retired 😴 and the three of us continued the party. This brand is a popular one in our house, so the wife joined the party in earnest. It was so fast, you could say that ⁉️😱The bottle was empty in seconds😱😱.

The fourth bottle of the party was "Haneya" (which my eldest daughter took me to at the end of the year) at my request for a little sake flavor.
This is the first time for me to drink this kind of sake.

I will put my thoughts on alcohol for the New Year's party to the side for a moment.
We will start off the year 2025 with a "Shinmasa" start 🍶.
We visited my parents' house in the morning and started the party in the evening 😊.
Since we all gathered here, I opened a bottle of rare sake ⁉️... surprisingly, there was a reaction 😂this might be a bad choice😱.
I drank the rest of the sake and my son and daughter-in-law both wanted to move on to the next one😅.
The atmosphere is a bit awkward 💦 as soon as the party starts.
I got a follow up from the wife and emptied the bottle 😊I guess each person's taste is a challenge ❗️😱

Our family's New Year's Eve sake is "Beaumichel" which we prepared for our youngest daughter's return home 😊.
We opened the bottle today to get our youngest daughter into the Sake swamp!
I suggested she take a sip, but she took one sip and flipped the white flag 🏳️😂I wasn't ready for the sake swamp yet💦.
Reluctantly, I drank it all by myself😅.
It's supposed to be easy to drink with low alcohol content 🥲I guess I'm still just a kid 😅
I was going to go out to the store due to our dwindling stock, but my eldest daughter called me 📱 while she was on her end-of-year shopping trip and we decided to avoid going out 📱.

Today is the end of the year vacation, which means that I'm going to start my days full of sake.

We still have a few days left, so we opened a bottle of "Akabu" Junmai Ginjo, a favorite of the wife, and brought it with us 🍶.

It's so good that no matter how many times I drink it, it's always so easy to drink too much 😅.
