It's delicious. It is not dry, perhaps because it is a summer sake, but it has a refreshing feeling that is just right for drinking in the heat of the summer, but still has a strong umami flavor at the bottom, like drinking a chilled Kyoto-style dashi soup stock. It's not what I expected from a drunken whale, but it's a new perspective, and it's a good base camp for summer sake.

#Drinking at home I thought it was refreshing for a Nara sake, but it turned out to be Choryu. It may be because of its yellow appearance, or because it is a Choryu, but it is a refreshing sake with little umami. However, it has a strong astringency and bitterness. It is not bad, but I will not buy it again.

When I first started drinking sake, I used to drink Senzuke at the New World standing bar in Motomachi. Somewhere along the way, the fruity image of Senzuke became stronger and I stopped drinking it, but it's been a while since I tried it. But what is this? It was not at all what I expected. First, it was slightly effervescent, then it had a little bit of umami, and the aftertaste was light and refreshing. I don't like this one!

Sweet! Sometimes when you drink an unknown alcoholic beverage, you get something you didn't intend to, so the skill of the drinker is tested by how he or she responds to such a situation.

Although it is called "nigori" (cloudy), it is not cloudy, but rather it is left cloudy for the sake of umami. Gizaemon is often refreshing, so this kind of slightly muddy sake is delicious with just the right amount of umami.

It has a mild umami taste, which is typical of Shizuoka, but it also has a slightly dashi (Japanese soup stock) flavor. The aftertaste is also a bit spicy, not just mildly umami-guchi, but a bit unique. It is not just a mild umami, but a little bit unique.

#Drinking at home This is unexpectedly dry. Of course, as is typical of Kouzutsuru, it has a strong umami flavor, but the end is unexpectedly sharp. According to the description, this is a characteristic of Hyogo-Kitanishiki. Except for the sharpness, the rest is as expected of Kozumitsuru. Perhaps it is because it has been aged for a year, but the taste is milder and mellower than usual, and you think, "Ah, this is delicious," but the flavor disappears rather easily, leaving a pungent taste. I would like to enjoy the umami a little longer, but this is delicious.

#Drinking at home Kaygetsu is the most popular Gin no Yume, but this drunken whale has a more refreshing umami and a slightly acidic taste compared to Kaygetsu. It has a mild aftertaste for a drunken whale and does not have a dry taste. It is a very gentle sake that doesn't do anything unnecessary, but it has a core, so you can drink it all the time with peace of mind, no matter what kind of food you have or don't have. This aspect is common to Kaygetsu's Gin no Yume.

#HomeDrinking Nice! We compared the two at Ekimaenomise, and found that the Association No. 8 has a strong Okura-like flavor! If UNO is characterized by its strong taste like undiluted Calpis, this Jinryoku x Kyokai Ya-go has Okura's personality that is as strong as ever. I'm not talking about matching it with the food, but rather the food with it! It's more like a brazenness. This is a must for Okura lovers.

In spring, it's firefly squid. In summer, it's icebreakers. It's a seasonal event. Well, the rainy season hasn't even started yet. Icebreaker is expensive because it is so strong that you drink it on the rocks, but is it just me who thinks it is not so different from normal Tamagawa? The alcohol content is only 17-18%, and it doesn't have the same strong undiluted calpis flavor as Okura's UNO, so I don't think it's any different from regular Tamagawa if you drink it blind. In a good sense, Tamagawa tastes like Tamagawa no matter which one you drink, and I think the ice breaker is also Tamagawa. However, if the usual Tamagawa comes out at the time when the world is all about summer sake, it may seem darker than the usual Tamagawa. Well, whatever the case may be, I love Tamagawa, so I hope that it will continue to be Tamagawa as always!

It is completely different from the image of Tohoku, a refreshingly clear, light, and tasty taste. If I drank it blind, I would definitely say Nagasaki or Fukuoka. It's delicious. I like this type of sake, but it's hard to find. I don't know if it's because it's a summer sake or if all the sake from this brewery is like this, but I wish they would carry it all year round at my local liquor store. This is for boiled rice and sashimi only! Or as a substitute for Pocari.

I have a prejudice that Fushimi sake is sweet and dull, but this is delicious. Although it is jungin, the aroma is not too overpowering, and the mild umami flavor is strong. The aftertaste is crisp with a lingering aftertaste! It has a lingering aftertaste, but it is not dull! It is not dull. It seems to be similar to Kochi sake. If that's the case, why not just use sake from Kochi? It is a good sake that can be easily matched with anything from sashimi to simmered dishes.

It's a strange relief after having had a series of individualistic wines in rapid succession. There is nothing special about it, but the pretense makes it taste good. If not for the pretense, it would be a slightly carbonated sake with no particular drawback.

Oh, it's not what I expected. I had drunk Hanagaki once a long time ago, and had avoided it because I had an image of it being tough and hard to match with food. After a long time, I found it to be a brownish color, almost like green tea, and I thought, "Ah, this is what it looks like," but when I drank it, it was unexpectedly mild. It has a matured feel to it, but it is not as harsh as I had expected. However, it is not a good drink on its own. But when I paired it with stewed vegetables, I was amazed. The unpleasant aspects of aging are gone, and the mild umami and sharp acidity are delicious! This is really strange. I don't know if it was made with an aim or if my taste buds just happened to match, but this is the kind of marriage I'm talking about. I don't know.

I know the name, but I don't remember drinking it. As the name "Kura Ryomi" implies, it tastes refreshingly cool and is made exclusively for summer. It has none of the unpleasantness of the honjozo, and I wonder if it is soaked in alcohol to give it a refreshing taste rather than a sharpness. Well, as someone who doesn't seek a refreshing taste in sake, I would drink this sake with a glass of shochu or beer.

It has a deep, sweet acidity like Nara sake, and is as tasty as Okura, not to mention Mimuro-sugi! It's a sake that tells you to just taste the acidity rather than the sparkle that is typical of the Tohoku region. If you are expecting Tohoku-like flavor, you will be disappointed, but I love it. Well, if I say that Okura is fine, that's all there is to it.
