おんだDrinking at home. On a consecutive holiday for the first time in a while, I went out a bit to procure alcohol. I found and bought a bottle of raw Kido, which I hadn't had for a long time. Melon aroma, sweetness comes, sourness comes, and finally the spiciness disappears. The best guess is sashimi and homemade oden, they go well together.

おんだDrinking at home. I found it at a nearby supermarket and bought it without a second thought. When I opened the bottle, I could smell the sweet melon aroma. As you drink it, the sweetness spreads and then the sourness comes and goes. It was a superb drink.

おんだDrinking at home. A gift from my son who lives in my hometown, Okazaki. A beautifully carbonated drink that leaks out carbon dioxide gas when opened. At first, there is a sourness and sweetness from the carbonation. Then the spiciness comes and disappears. It was a delicious drink.

おんだDrinking at home. Continuing from earlier, I found and bought a sake I wanted to buy for the end of the year. We compared it with our favorite Saku and Masanotomo Nakadori Junmai Daiginjo. Both were more delicious than expected, with a perfect combination of aroma, flavor, acidity, and spiciness.

おんだThe first Eiko-Fuji. This is a limited edition sake made from Setsuwakamaru, a new variety from Yamagata. First comes the sweetness, then the umami, spiciness, and acidity, which quickly disappear. The aroma and umami show the characteristics of edible rice. It reminds me of Sumiyoshi, which I used to drink a long time ago. It is a delicious drink.
