It is my favorite daytime drink.
Today's drink is a dry junmai from Yamagata Masamune, which I always pick up at the liquor store.
When you open the cork, it has a subtle fruity aroma, and when you put it in your mouth, the spiciness comes through.
The spiciness of the sake is very appropriate for a dry junmai, and it removes the smell of the dried bonito sashimi to enhance its flavor.
After that comes the umami of the sake.
It is a delicious cup.
