Not a good (and great) Golden Week to be relaxing at home avoiding the crowds and killing my free time with booze. I had my first Dioavita, and it's delicious. It's rather sweet. I think I'll have to choose this one for drinking at home with light snacks. But I don't because I want to drink a lot of different kinds! Anyway, it's sweet, a little sour, and has a low alcohol content, so it's a bad sake. Maybe I should go to a convenience store and buy some sweet potato kenpis?

I drink enough Mitsui no Kotobuki to buy the seasonal ones when they are on sale, but they are all delicious. Not too spicy, not too sweet, maybe just right for drinking at home. I don't drink too much (laughs). It's not all sweet, so I can't guzzle it, but it's sake-like and delicious, so it's the kind of sake that makes me want to get some tsumami to eat.

It's been a while since I've had sake at a restaurant. They said it was a new brand called Seiryun Rinen. Like Houou Mita, this one tasted incredibly modern from the specs. It is easy to drink. It's a bit spicier than Houou Mita, but.... No, Hououmida is too sweet (laugh). It seems that this sake is made with rice and water as ingredients. (Laughs) It seems that sake made with rice and water as ingredients is becoming more and more common these days.

It had been a while since I had a chance to compare drinks at the restaurant. Hououmida's unfiltered, raw, unfiltered sake is a fruity sake that is hard to believe it is a honjozo. This is Hououmida! This is Houou Mita! Later, I checked the selling price on the Internet and found that the price was very reasonable. If sake of this level were sold in cups, the number of young people who drink sake would increase dramatically. It's a good sake.

It had been a long time since I had had a drink at a restaurant. I thought it would be sweet from the specs, but when I tried it, I found it to be a very drinkable sake. Of course, it was sweet, but not just sweet. It is indeed an Akita sake.

It had been a while since I had had a chance to compare drinks at a restaurant. I was very happy because I had never had a chance to drink Kuroryu Doroguchi, although I had heard that it was very good. It was sweet, refreshing, and as delicious as rumored.

It's a little old. Stable taste. Because it is a special junmai (pure rice), it has a nice sharpness and a moderate sweetness, making it easy to drink. However, since today's snack was dry food, it didn't go well with my personal taste. I still have half of the bottle left, so I would like to try again later with sashimi or sushi.

Kitano Kakusei series, a sake planned by Co-op Sapporo. This time, Otokoyama Shuzo brewed this junmai ginjo with ginpu. Isn't the label and all? Cool! I had heard rumors about it, but forgot to buy it, and when I remembered, it was already gone, but now I finally bought it. I drank it right away and it tastes fruity and has a strong alcohol taste. It tastes fruity, with a strong alcohol taste, no or very weak acidity, and a pear-like taste. Personally, I think it's the type of sake I would drink with a meal, not just sake or with light snacks. Kamikawa Taisetsu has been the talk of the town when it comes to modern sake from Hokkaido, but this one is also quite tasty. It looks good, too, so it's okay if people start drinking sake from here. But even if people start with sake from here, I wonder if Co-op Sapporo will be able to provide a similar sake quality answer next time.

I bought this one in November, so I need to drink it soon. So, I opened the bottle. I've had it before, and it's still good. I think it is quite close to my taste. Rather than with a meal, it's more of a drink for playing games or watching a movie while enjoying it alone. Also, it's a cool sake with a cool lid (laughs).

I finally opened a bottle of last year's new sake. I'm sorry it took so long. Even though there is a sign on the back that says "Hurry up and drink it! Even though the back of the bottle says "Drink quickly! I can't tell the difference in taste between this and the other new sake, but it tastes as good as the shime mackerel and gari, and is good for sipping at home. Maybe it's because I kept it in the fridge for too long....

I was given a bottle of sake that I tried to drink with my relatives on New Year's Day, but we couldn't get together at Corona, so I had to drink the rest. It was a Kunimare sake made with my favorite Ginpu. It has a spicy and crisp aftertaste like a Hokkaido sake, though it's probably sweeter than the others.

Today we were going to compare muddled sake. I've never had much nigorizake before, but I thought I'd give it a try since a lot of places are serving it this season. I had heard that Hirotogawa's nigori was good, so I bought it when it was on sale. The nigori is not as strong as "Do," but the carbonation seems to be just as strong. I like to wait a bit after pouring it into a glass and drink it when the carbonation has settled down. It's mildly sweet and has a strong flavor, so if I were to drink it at home without snacks, I'd go for this one. It was as good as they say it is. I'm looking forward to next year.

Today we were going to compare muddled sake. I've never had much nigorizake before, but I thought I'd give it a try since a lot of places are serving it this season. It was closed with a lid with a hole for venting, but the carbonation (fermentation power) was so great that when I twisted the lid, it almost overflowed. Amazing! It's Japanese champagne! It's Japanese champagne! After pouring it in, the carbonation was strong and it didn't feel like sake, but after letting it sit for a while, it felt like a mature amazake. It's mildly sweet and has a strong flavor that goes well with salty dishes. I think it would be good with steak. If it's like amazake, I thought it would taste good warmed up, so I tried heating it up in the microwave, but while it was definitely amazake, it was too alcoholic for me. I learned my lesson.

The fireplace. Feels good to have a cool lid, doesn't it? Does anyone understand? (laughs) The mouthfeel is very gentle, and the taste is a little dry, with a hint of umami. I like to drink it as an aperitif. If you want to drink it with dry food or sashimi, it's fine, but the taste of the sake is so strong that the food you're eating is going to have a lot of salt in it. I can't buy Hououmida near me, so it's not easy to drink. I'll take my time to savor it and drink it.

I was supposed to be at a company party. But it was cancelled due to the heavy snowfall. It turned into a sake drinking party. In Hokkaido, it's overshadowed by the Kamikawa Daisetsu Sake Brewery. This is another new brewery in Kamikawa, Hokkaido, called Michizakura. It's a dry sake that doesn't have a modern feel to it, so it's probably not the most popular sake in Hokkaido. But to be honest, I think dry sake goes well with sashimi and sushi (white meat and root fish). It's like water that you can drink quickly, but it has a strong alcoholic taste, so it's good sake after you're a little drunk. It doesn't interfere with food, so it's a good sake for a meal.

I was supposed to be at a company party. But it was cancelled due to the heavy snowfall. So, it turned out to be a sake drinking party. It's been in the fridge since November, but It's still got that fizzy feeling that is typical of unpasteurized sake. It's not too sweet, but it's very refreshing. The freshness is also fresh!

Junmai Daiginjo of Shochikubai, the origin of Takara Shuzo. There is no way a sake from the same company that makes Mio, a very good sake, could be bad! It has a sweet aroma, a clean mouthfeel, and a good amount of alcohol, and is perfect for lightly flavored New Year's dishes. It is not an exaggeration to say that if you have Osechi and this, you are promised a happy year-end and New Year. On top of that, the price is very reasonable, and the label on this New Year's sake is gorgeous, so it's become a regular New Year's sake at my parents' house. We get the leftovers and bring them home, but we like to drink a variety of sake throughout the year, so when we end up with extra, we end up turning it into cooking sake. Instead, I'm going to drink it all these three days!

This Christmas, we're going to compare aluzoe sake. Gakki Masamune, which is famous for being the strongest sake in terms of cost, has an excellent taste. It has a strong sourness, and I can feel the unique smell of alcoholated sake, but I don't feel it at all in this one. After this, I'm planning to make a hand roll with this sashimi, but I think I'll drink it then. I think it would go well with rice dishes such as sushi and udon soba soup stock.

For Christmas this year, we had a sake drinking contest. Yukinokayasha is very refreshing and easy to drink, which is typical of Akita sake. I think it would be better with nabe (hot pot) or other strong flavored snacks rather than sashimi. Or maybe something like iburi-gakko cheese? In this case, I think it went very well with bonito tataki. The aroma of the okoge makes the sake go on.

This Christmas, we're going to compare aluzoe sake drinking. This is Yukiyogetsu, a collaboration with a Vtuber. It's sweet like a peach, but it's also very drinkable sake. It's not too sweet, so it's the kind of sake you can drink all the time. I think I would like to drink it with a meal.
