GW's trip to Tochigi
We had Asahi Sakae which we bought at Yodogawa Sake Shop which J&N told us about 😋.
The aroma is a little bit like a draft sake? 🤔It has a mild sweetness and gentle umami on the palate😊I soon got a strong acidity and it has a crisp and sharp taste😊I felt it was a pretty dry sake in my opinion👍✨.

Shizuoka Business Trip (Part 1)
When I visited Matsuura Sake Brewery in front of Numazu station, they recommended this bottle to me 😀 This is Yukikai, brewed by Gotemba Ishikawa Sake Brewery in Gotemba City, Shizuoka Prefecture. This sake is from a brewery that just made its first debut in January 2025😊.
The aroma is mild 🤔On the palate, it has a fruity and crisp taste with a refreshing aftertaste 😚👍✨I felt like a versatile sake that goes well with anything 🥳 of the refreshingly weak and dry type.
The fourth picture is the Sekiwake from Numazu Uogashi Sushi 🍣😋😋 You can't go wrong with sushi from a prefecture near the sea 👍🌟.

We had Souhyo purchased at Mekada Sake Shop 😋.
The aroma is not so strong, but when you put it in your mouth, it has a strong umami, sweetness, and firm acidity 😊It has a rich and abundant flavor👍✨.
The fourth one is Nikko's specialty Sansho Miso which I bought in Nikko 🥳The base is sweet miso with a hint of sansho flavor 😚The cucumber 🥒 might be a bit sweet but it is quite tasty 😋.

We had a bottle of Sawa Hime purchased at Mekada Sake Brewery in Utsunomiya.
The aroma is a little bit grain-like 😀They have a good umami taste and it goes down your throat nicely 😊The more you drink, the better the taste gets 😚👍✨A good sake that can be kept at room temperature is very useful 🥳.

GW trip to Tochigi
On the way back from Nikko Toshogu Shrine, we visited the brewery, Watanabe Sahei Shoten. The sake is brewed with Yumesasara, a sake rice produced in Tochigi Prefecture 😀.
The aroma is soft and not too gorgeous 😊The taste in the mouth is elegant and beautifully sweet and umami 😋The aftertaste disappears smoothly and neatly 😚 It is a delicious sake 🥳.
The fourth picture is pickled burdock root in tamari that I bought at the roadside station across from the brewery. It's just the right snack for sake 😇I should have bought more 😭.

On the way back from Nikko Toshogu Shrine, we visited Katayama Sake Brewery 🫡 We tasted about 5 kinds of sake and bought Nikkoji 😀.
It is a sake made from Yumesasara, a sake rice produced in Tochigi prefecture 😋😋, a light and dry junmai ginjo sake😊Gentle ginjo aroma and a good taste of rice🌾👍✨I thought it was a food sake that enhances the flavor of the food 😚.

GW's Tochigi Trip (4) Day 2
At Kanbei Sake Mamoru, we had a comparison of three types of local sake that Tochigi is proud of 😀.
I don't know the details of the specs, but the aroma is mild🤔, the taste is light, refreshing and dry, but you can also taste the delicious rice flavor 😊.
The second one is Utsunomiya Gyoza (Utsunomiya Gyoza 🥟) 😍I was told that one serving of Masatsugu is 2 grilled and 1 water, so I ordered it and it came out to be 3 servings, wasn't it? I ordered Masatsugu and was told that one portion was 2 yaki and 1 water 😅My partner had to have Karan, so we had yaki and tang tang and my stomach exploded 😇
The third picture is the next day, we went for a walk to the dumpling street 😁It was a cute street with cute dumplings everywhere 💕.

On the second day, we visited Kanbei Sake Mamoru, which Jay & Nobby told us about 🌃😁 We had a comparison of three types of local sake, which Tochigi is proud of 😋.
We started with Matsu no Kotobuki 😀.
I don't know the details, but it's a slightly dry sake with a clean mouthfeel and a soft acidity afterwards 😚It's a delicious sake to go with today's 3 kinds of dishes 😊I forgot to take all the dishes 😇.
The second picture is the gyoza statue at Utsunomiya station🤔even at night everyone was taking pictures📸😳It was nice to see the famous statue🥳.

GW trip to Tochigi (1) Day 1
This GW came to Kinugawa Onsen in Tochigi Prefecture this year 😀 We got some Oni Laughs of Kinugawa sake that we bought at a 7-Eleven near our hotel 😊.
It's a dry sake with a slight acidity and a refreshing taste 😚 and it's a delicious sake 😊✨.
The fourth picture is the Touge no Kamameshi I had at Yokogawa SA in the afternoon and the Gozen I had at a hot spring hotel in the evening😍The hot springs of Kinugawa Onsen are well relaxing♨️ I hope to enjoy sightseeing and food in Tochigi tomorrow as well🥳✨👍

The spoils of my Nagano business trip㊽
I opened a bottle of Shinshu Kamerei 🐢, a purchase from last year's Nagano business trip when I was in Ueda ✨😀😀.
The aroma is mild but refreshing like apple🍎😊The taste is mellow and juicy on the palate while the acidity is elegant and clean 😚👍The umami gently soars 😍@A year later, it was still a delicious Shinshu Kamerei🥳👍There were 2 more bottles of last year's limited edition in the fridge🤩.

For my second bottle of GW Gold Label, I opened a bottle of Nabeshima, which I purchased from Yokozeki ✨😀✨This is my first Nabesama Jun Dai 😋.
The aroma is modest🤔On the palate, the aroma is pleasant and soft😊It seems to be calmer than the usual Nabeshima 😚It is fresh and crisp👍It is a Junmai Daiginjo that is well balanced and can be enjoyed as a food sake 🥰.
The fourth one was the Sansai Tenzaru from Tenichiya, a soba noodle restaurant of my choice. The tempura of seasonal wild vegetables and the soba noodles were both very delicious 🥳👍It was a pity that my favorite curry udon and soba noodles were no longer on the menu 😭💦 .
