I've always been curious about the brand ❗️ Finally got around to drinking it😊. The aroma is subdued: ❗️ The sweetness is just a hint of sweetness. It has a good flavor of rice when it is on the lees 😄. The taste is silky and clean, probably due to the use of Koshihikari rice. I received a drinking set from a colleague. When I think of Iwate, Akabu is the first that comes to mind, But there are more than 20 sake breweries in Iwate alone. It was nice to have a variety of sake, not just the popular ones.

National Sake Fair 2025 in Osaka_70 Iwate Prefecture booth ⑤. Fukurai Shuzo is located in Kuji City. There is also a Raifuku Sake Brewery in Ibaraki Prefecture, so it looks like a mix-up. ◉Fukurai Special Junmai Fukurai is made from Ginotome sake rice. It has a soft mouthfeel, but the taste is rich and dark with a sweet umami flavor that is quite to my liking. The brewery is located in Kuji City, famous for being the location for NHK's morning TV series "Amachan".

Yesterday was the first youth baseball coaches meeting in two weeks. A big senior coach bought us some sake from Tokushima, so we had it 🙇️. My first Tokushima sake ️️! It's a dry taste, but you can feel the sweetness too👍. It's well balanced and perfect for a midday drink😍. My senior coach lives in Shikoku for work now and can't come back every week but I asked him to bring me some good sake from Shikoku🤣.

The second bottle of Hohsui Shuzo purchased at the Hankyu Brewer's Festival was a hiyaoroshi 🐰✨ with a 60% polishing ratio of Bizen Omachi rice. It has a mellow mouthfeel and a full flavor that is typical of Omachi rice, and is delicious!
