I’ve been drinking sake in the USA casually for a few years and I’ve come to really enjoy it as one of my favorite drinks. Now I’m trying to experience, appreciate and learn more about sake.
I wanted to take a nice sake with me to Thanksgiving for my family to try. My father who hasn’t had much sake before this said it was crisp, clear and refreshing 😂. I mostly agree. It was light and dry and most everyone really enjoyed it.
Hints of banana and nut with a little bit of melon. Easy to drink and very enjoyable. A great Futsushu.
Rice Polishing Ratio: 70%
Nihonshu-do: 2
Acidity: 1.4
This sake lived up to the expectations. One of my favorites I’ve had in a while. Enjoyed it with friends who haven’t had much sake before and they all really enjoyed it as well. This is a bottle I would happily get again.
The scent is a bit yeasty like a sweet bread. The taste opens very light and clear but gets much more complex in the middle. It takes on a sweeter fruity taste before finishing with a mineral flavor and slight tartness.
Refreshing with a fruity tartness. This one is only 8% alcohol so it is very easy to drink. Enjoyed this one while making s’mores with my girlfriend and brother.
