Next up was the Ittiki Senzan Comet Nama-no-Hara Sake. The only sake from Gifu that I know of is Ikki Senzan, so I thought I'd give it a try. It was a brand that had just been opened. It was a brand that had just been opened, so I liked the way the flavor was firmly on the tongue. The sweetness was not too strong and flowed down the throat easily. This is the first hit I've had in a long time. I wanted to drink it slowly, but I had to keep up with the pace of my grandchildren. Today we are going out for a drink. This izakaya is a rare izakaya where you can eat a lot of vegetables 😁The sashimi is also reasonably priced with sea bream and swordfish. They sell vegetables, so they have a large selection of vegetable-based soft drinks. They mainly have local Shizuoka sake, but they also have a lot of Omuraya sake from the famous Omuraya brewery, which is famous for Wakatake and Onna no Nyokase 🧐 This is the first time I've had anything from this brewery. Purchased in Tokushima City on the way back from a trip to Naruto and Awaji Island (Part 2). It was the first sake from the brewery. It is very good.

Yesterday was the first youth baseball coaches meeting in two weeks. A big senior coach bought us some sake from Tokushima, so we had it 🙇️. My first Tokushima sake ️️! It's a dry taste, but you can feel the sweetness too👍. It's well balanced and perfect for a midday drink😍. My senior coach lives in Shikoku for work now and can't come back every week but I asked him to bring me some good sake from Shikoku🤣.

The second bottle of Hohsui Shuzo purchased at the Hankyu Brewer's Festival was a hiyaoroshi 🐰✨ with a 60% polishing ratio of Bizen Omachi rice. It has a mellow mouthfeel and a full flavor that is typical of Omachi rice, and is delicious!

The rice used is Gohyakumangoku. I bought it at the end of last year at an antenna store in Toyama. I didn't know about this brand. The color is a light amber. The color is pale amber, and the flavor is just as it should be. It's relatively easy to drink because it's crisp and not overpowering, but it didn't seem to suit my partner who likes floral and sweet flavors. It didn't match well with the grilled chicken, but I think it will swell up with time, so I'll leave it for a while. It's quite a unique sake, and I don't dislike it!

I have had Taitozan before, but I don't remember much about it, so I bought it for the first time in a while. It has a slightly astringent white wine-like aftertaste with almost no sweetness. I think it is best to drink it with fish dishes, which is a standard white wine. Since it is winter from now on, yellowtail and radish would be delicious. I, of course, drink it only with sake.
