At home. First time in Saitama. I couldn't find Saitama easily, so I searched by the name of the prefecture and finally found it. The aroma is grainy and nutty. The mouthfeel is smooth and fresh, and it has a sweet taste of grain. The sourness and bitterness were not so strong. From the label, I thought it would be heavy, but it was easy to drink.

I found a suspicious looking liquor. Is it for export? I saw it in the lap of Asahara Sake Brewery and bought it. It is a carbonated sake with low alcohol content. It is carbonated after the fact, so it has a great shwashy feeling. It is good for a quick drink on a hot day, but if you want to feel the carbonation, I honestly think beer or a highball would be better. I don't think this is what people call "Japan".

Yesterday we went to Bicchu Matsuyama and Kibi Tsu! We were worried about rain, but it was really fortuitous that it shifted and we saw some sunshine. The view over the magnificent stone walls and town at the top of the mountain was exceptional ✨. Then we visited the Kibitsu Shrine, with its long corridor and historic appearance. The long corridor and historic appearance of the Kibitsu Shrine that we visited afterwards was truly heartwarming 🍑. After exploring, we crossed the Seto Inland Sea and drank a glass of Kibi-shu 🍶. When you open the bottle, you will find a deep aroma of nuts and chestnuts. The mouthfeel is slippery and dry. It is full-bodied with a punch of acidity and astringency, as well as a full-bodied rice flavor. It has a presence like nuts and bitter chocolate. However, the stimulation of the hot, acidic, and astringent taste tightens it up like a whip, and it has a good salty taste with a firm edge!

Rice used is Dewa Sanzan As indicated by the alcohol content of 19 degrees, it is a gut-punching wine. ‼️ And it has the same throat and mouthfeel as you would expect from Muroka Nama-no-Hara Sake. The sweetness also comes through perfectly. It has a great impact, but it is sharp and has a clean finish, so it does not feel too heavy. Long time no see Kobe 🚃. The hills are amazing😅. I stopped by Sannomiya Hankyu and bought some Nada sake 🍶. The label looked good, so I chose Amber Izumi Jungin. It is a clear, fruity, dry sake. It is mildly sharp. It's a beautiful sake, easy to drink without any peculiarities 😋♪ I'm glad I bought it👍 I'm looking forward to enjoying more of Nada as there are so many unknown sakes 😙.

Purchased at a local liquor store...Yamada Nishiki, ✖️ Gohyakumangoku = Koshitanrei, 100% sake rice from Niigata Prefecture. Sweet! It's more of a drink to enjoy on its own than a midday drink... it's a beginner's drink... women will love it... and since it's unfiltered, it's unfiltered, you can drink it on the rocks with ice... yup!

We ordered at Benkei no weibasho, an izakaya near Niigata Station. This restaurant is operated by a local conveyor-belt sushi chain, and we were informed that their seafood dishes are sure to be good, so we made a reservation and visited. I was curious about this sake at Ponshukan, where I had wandered around during lunch. Niigata is known for its dry sake, but this one is quite fruity. It is not too sweet, so it goes well with sashimi. I mean, too much throat groyne!
