Downhill Sake Story Event 3) From the Itami Laematsu Sake Brewery, established in 1688, we drank "Laematsu" Itamigo Special Honjozo, a highly prestigious sake for the Shogun. It has the flavor of honjozo and a smooth throat. It is also good as heated sake. A joint sake brewing song was performed. The song was sung in slightly different tunes at each brewery. This time I found this one on sale at the drugstore! My favorite Shizenigo! I was intrigued by the word "dry" and bought it. The aroma is apple-like, which is typical of Shizenigo. It has a fruity aroma even though it is a honjozo. The sweetness is moderate, and the bitter sourness comes through with a nice crispness. It is perfect as a mid-meal sake. It is a sake that accompanies and does not interfere with meals. I was impressed that such a sake is sold at drugstores! I realized once again the high level of Fukushima sake.

[Buy direct from Chisa Aoki🤩] I bought this bottle from Chisa Aoki, the eldest daughter of the brewery, at a sales event at Ikebukuro Seibu the week before last. It was great to meet a celebrity in the industry 😆. I couldn't taste it because of this time of year, but I was able to smell a few different scents and chose this label as my favorite ✌️. It's a Hitachinishiki Junmai Ginjo aged for almost 2 years at very low temperature, and it's the first label to be sold this year. The aroma is grape 🍇-like, which is the reason why I decided to buy it, and when you put it in your mouth, the beautiful sweetness and full-bodied flavor will fill your mouth. The aftertaste is crisp and spicy with a unique aroma that makes it a fun sake to drink😄. This is a must drink for those who are allergic to aged sake as well as Ousachi ❗❗ I should have bought this in a bottle 😅.
