The name comes from Michel Carouge's famous book "The Bachelor's Machine," which is cited as the bible of the master brewer. It is also related to Marcel Duchamp's "The Bride Naked by Her Bachelors, Even (a.k.a. The Big Glass)". When I think about the sake rice "Aizan," I can see the image of this sake being brewed with love while loneliness, loss of humanity, and the desire for barren love cross the mind 🧐.
