Only Ichinokura brand sake is made in Kurihara City. When Mr. Tokoro introduced it in a TV shooting at the end of last year, it was in short supply in Kurihara City 😱😆😆. The first sip tastes slightly sweet and clean without any peculiar taste. It goes well with kiwi and kurichi wrapped with prosciutto ham. It also goes well with strong meat dishes!

National Sake Fair 2025 in Osaka_69 Iwate Prefecture booth 4 Sakura Face Sake Brewery in Morioka City is now a subsidiary of Yoshimura Food Holding. ◉Sakuraface Special Junmai Sakuraface Special Junmai is made from Ginotome sake rice. It has a soft mouthfeel, but the flavor is rich, dark, sweet and delicious, quite to my liking. Bouken-san told me he had had it at the Keihan Department Store in Camphor, and I was too drunk to recognize it at the time. I'm opening another bottle today😍. My first Miyazaki sake. Everyone says Miyazaki is hard to get, so I popped in 🤣 I ordered it with Jidori Koko 👍. It's a bit sweet, but not too sweet. It has a modern umami taste, similar to a brand I've had before like Tsushima-ya 😋 It's quite refreshing and the sharpness disappears quickly 😋 It seems to be the only brewery in Miyazaki that specializes in sake 😋 It's delicious - thanks for making sake 😂.

Refreshing drink with little lingering aftertaste. 😋 A lightly flavored umami type, or perhaps an 🏠. Not much umami or bitterness lingering on the tongue. Easy to drink but needs one more punch😅. There are only two sake rice study groups left. I've been posting them chippy-chippy, so my notes and my memory are no longer connected. But there is no doubt that they were delicious. The ninth bottle was Kami no Ho from Mie Prefecture. The first bottle was a Saku no Kami no Hoho, which got me hooked on sake rice, but it tasted completely different. The aroma is banana, I guess. It has a slightly sweet taste with a refreshing dryness from the microbubbles. It goes on and on... a never-ending type of sake. The next post should be the last in this study of sake rice.

Special Junmai Nigori Nama-zake🍶Kami-no-ho🌾 from Mie Prefecture. Seme smell, fresh✨, a little schwag. Sour and spicy. Mustardy 🙄 according to my wife. When paired with the koji-marinated squid (🦑), it takes the edge off and cozies up to you. The power of koji is amazing 😆. Looks like a new brand to be born in spring 2023.
