A year ago, we heard the shocking news that the Furuya Sake Brewery in Saku, Nagano Prefecture was destroyed by fire. 🐰💦. I bought Furuya's sake as part of a project called "Saku Wakate 13 Sake Breweries Drinking Comparison" at a time when sake consumption was in the doldrums due to the Corona disaster, and the label was beautiful 🌸✨It was my favorite sake, so the news of the fire broke my heart. I went to a liquor store for the first time in about a year and found a sake labeled "Fukayamazakura" at ❗️ I was surprised and picked it up to find that it was brewed with rice that survived the fire at Kurosawa Sake Brewery, also in Saku. The specs were Acl15, a fire-aged junmai ginjo brewed with 59% polished rice from Hitogokochi grown in Nagano Prefecture. The impression is that it is not too sweet, not too spicy, not too much aroma, and clean, well-balanced, and easy-to-drink food sake✨. However, the lingering taste left a depth, if not a sense of maturity. It was as if that depth was the depth of thought that went into brewing this sake. If you see it at a liquor store, please support and purchase 🐰💓. Finally, thank you Kurosawa Sake Brewery. I know it must be really tough for everyone at Furuya Brewery, but please take care of yourselves. I am looking forward to seeing your sake again while supporting you from the shadows!

Mishio Junmai Ginjo Omachi 100% Omachi produced in Okayama Prefecture Polishing ratio 50%. Alcohol content 15-16%. Sake meter degree +2, acidity 1.8 (reference) Fat 5/7, opened 5/23 I wanted to drink a dry sake from Kochi and was attracted by the label that looked like a pattern of playing cards I used to have at my parents' house 🤣. The brand "Bishio" is a new brand that started in 2014. It is one of the Junmai Ginjo series that is based on the concept of "elegant sweetness reminiscent of honey" and is part of a trilogy that includes "Kitashizuku", "Gin no Yume", and "Omachi". The aroma is almost imperceptible after opening the bottle. In the mouth, it has a fruity, fruity aroma and flavor, but at the same time, the alcohol is very strong. The acidity is moderate and not harsh. The acidity is not too strong, but it's more spicy and tingling than the number 😅. I tried to drink it after 4 days, which is unusual for me, but although the mouthfeel got better, the strong alcohol feeling didn't go away. The aftertaste is light, so it would be classified as light-dry. It's like a Tosa sake in that respect 😊. Unfortunately, it didn't suit me and was disappointing 😅. Oh! Maybe I should have tried heating it up 🤔.

Jizake Train E501 SAKIGAKE 2nd Anniversary(Yuki→Mito) We participated in an event where we could compare local sake from Ibaraki while enjoying a view of Mt. The first sake we drank was this one. It tastes like honey and has low alcohol content. My companion won this sake in a raffle held on the train! It was nice to talk with the brewery staff. The label was designed by a local Tsukuba University student with the image of this sake in mind. The label and the taste matched perfectly!

Jizake Train E501 SAKIGAKE 2nd Anniversary We went to an event where you can compare local sake from Ibaraki while looking over Mt. I was most shocked by this sake. It tasted syrupy sweet and mellow. The alcohol content was not high and I did not feel any alcohol. It was the first time for me to drink this drink and it was very tasty. I won a prize in a raffle held at the event! It was the day of Tachibana StampVal, so I went to only Ikoma among many stores participating in the event. I don't always go to other shops😅. I thought I was drinking it for the first time, but it looks like I had it last year at Harukas😅. It has a beautiful taste without a strong sense of maturity. Very easy to drink hiyaoroshi 😋. I've always wondered which came first, former Takarazuka Revue troupe member and singer Koshiji Fubiyuki or Koshiji Fubiyuki, but it seems Koshiji Fubiyuki's brand started in 1991!
