Probably my first brand. It's a leafy freshness, maybe pulled by the label. I thought the flavor was a bit peculiar. Ramen I had near the training location. I was worried about the unusual ingredients, salmon roe and cucumber, but they matched the tai-dashi ramen better than I expected 😊.

Shimane Local Sake Fair Osaka ③. Ichinomiya Sake Brewery of Iwami Ginzan and Rika. I had bought Yukika at Hanshin Department Store in Amagasaki in the past. I found out that it was Mr. Rika, the toji (master brewer), who was standing in the store at that time😅. I tasted the following Iwami Ginzan Special Junmai Hiyoshi Oroshi Rika Junmai Ginjo Kaihatanryu Ichitunya TANE Nama-zake Yukika Sparkling None of them left much of an impression on me, but I thought the Yukika was as tasty as ever. It was sweet and strong, like a strong calpis soda. I would like to try it again because Sugidama-san in Kyoto sells Iwami Ginzan.

Tonight is my usual Wednesday pub 🍺. Sake brought in by a regular who knows me - ⤴️🍶 Cloth lapels are awesome ⤴️⤴️😆 It's sweet, slightly sour, and very oishy ❕. This one is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I'm enjoying it very much.

Purchased at the Takashimaya Sake Festival. The one that impressed me the most after tasting several kinds of Kunihiki. It is sweet and fruity. It has a sourness like citrus. It is low in alcohol but very drinkable. However, I personally don't like the top flavor. I can't explain it well, but it smells sweet? I can't explain it well, but it smells like a sweet smell. A bowl of oden at an oden shop in Shizuoka Station. I had no idea about this brand. The best part of traveling is being able to drink this kind of local sake with local food 😆. A little sweet and full, with a clean dry finish. It is not flashy, but there is no alcohol feeling that lingers in the throat and it is very smooth to drink 😄. It goes great with Shizuoka oden, which is a thick, dark broth with fishmeal, and if we weren't on a family trip, we would be drinking it endlessly 😅.... Also, I had a local B gourmet dish called "Motsuru Curry" for the first time, which was also very tasty👍👍!

Yahiko Sake Brewery in Yahiko Village, Niigata Prefecture. The main brand was "Echino Hakusetsu," but it appears that "Yahiko" will be the main brand from now on. This Junmai Ginjo is also made from Yamadanishiki produced in Yahiko Village, and is a good sake, not fruity, but calm and soft. Yahiko Village is where my mother is from, and I spent a lot of time there as a child when I was sent to my mother's home, so it is like a second home to me. Yahiko Shrine, the first shrine in Echigo, is located there.

Yahiko's regular sake, Aozae, by Yahiko Shuzo Sake rice is Koshibuki produced in Yahiko village. Aozae has a refreshing, watery quality. Aozae is a perfect evening sake without any peculiarities. Yahiko Shrine is the largest shrine in Echigo Province. My mother is from Yahiko Village and I used to stay at her parents' house in Yahiko Village when I was a child, so Yahiko is like my second home.

As soon as it hits your tongue, you feel a little bit of sweetness and a thin lingering bitterness... If you like sake that is crisp and has a short aftertaste... You may not like it... If you want to match it with food, I feel that you have to fight it with tempura and other dishes with strong flavors such as salt or boiled vegetables... If the food is light in flavor... I think this sake might make it hard to taste the food... Personally, I feel it's like shochu (it's a freshly stored sake)... On the other hand, people who enjoy the richness of sweetpotato shochu might enjoy it... Personally, I prefer a refreshing type... Overall rating C (S-D)
