Sake made from 100% Omachi rice
Mild sweetness spreads in the mouth, followed by a pleasant acidity that is well balanced. It is easy to drink with no cloying taste, and it goes down your throat nicely ✨.
I feel that there is nothing wrong with Omachi, but this sake is the most delicious Omachi sake I have ever tasted 😊.
At the tasting, I tasted a ripe LaFrance....
I was attracted by the words "Ripe LaFrance" and tasted it... I was scared 😳.
This is really LaFrance 🍐!
The way the aftertaste pulls away from the 🍐 is fantastic👍.
Originally made by another brewery, but when they quit, Aihara Brewery took over the brewery.
I heard it used to reign in the East and West with Jyushiyo (never had it...) 🤔.
I don't have any experience so I can't compare, but this one is different for me personally!
Kaneizumi is another brand of Aihara Shuzo, famous for Amego no Tsuki.
This white lightning bolt is a spot product.
On the palate, it has an elegant and discreet mix of sweetness and acidity, with a sharp finish that cuts through with a touch of bitterness!
The bitterness is a nice accent, making it a very tasty sake that goes well with the season 😋.
Just a reminder 🙏.
Today I drank some sake that I received at home. It is "White Lightning" from Aihara Shuzo in Hiroshima, Japan.
The sake cup is black, so it's hard to tell, but there is a white orikashi (a rough white rice cakes): ⚡️
It has just the right amount of sweetness and sharpness, making it a great sake for summer 😋.
It is amazing that Omachi can produce such a fruity aroma!
The aroma is elegant and gorgeous, like white peaches or melon. The sweet umami flavor fills the mouth and quickly fades away. The transparency is amazing!
I want to drink this sake again!

Gentle on the nose. Slightly bitter and astringent but clean.
The Horimoto Sake Brewery went out of business, but the brand name seems to have been passed down with the toji.
Aihara Sake Brewery is famous for its sake "Amego no Tsuki" (moon after rain).
I had not been able to buy it because of the price, but now I found a small bottle and bought it.
The top aroma is completely LaFrance🍐 shocking🫢.
Not to be outdone by the aroma that anticipates the taste that follows, the attack is glossy with a touch of sweetness. The lingering taste is clean and light due to the slight acidity. It was an elegant sake.
It is not a food sake, but goes well with a glass of wine by itself.
One that left a strong impression that I would like to drink again.
I can't wait to repeat it.
Last time, I ate it with sweets.
I found it to be bitter.
But this time it's slightly bitter.
I paired it with mentaiko potatoes.
Slightly spicy
and a hint of fruity
taste
This is not bad at all!
It's rare for a drink to change so much with food.
It's rare for a drink to change with food.
But I can't come to any conclusion
I'm a candidate for another Chikadika repeat
I've been thinking about it a lot lately.
gold spring
from Aihara Shuzo
Sake
It's expensive!
I want to drink it, but
But I'd like to drink other kinds, too.
You're thinking.
It's in a small bottle!
I'm so grateful!
The sake you want to drink
It's a small bottle that you can drink in moderation.
The mouth of the bottle is like yours
It's thick.
You will feel the pungent taste on your tongue for a long time.
As I continue to drink...
Hmm?
Is it changing to fruity?
That's what this sake is.
I remember the taste.
I'll be repeating it!
When I paired it with tiramisu for dessert
The bitterness came from the bitterness of the Omachi.
When I opened the bottle, I was in for a sizzling attack. In a good way, with a betrayed dryness and a complex, pleasant flavor, but with a dry finish that picks up right where it left off!
This is a delicious ministry️.
Fresh and airy ✨.
Gorgeous aroma✨.
Sweetness, spiciness, and acidity are not greatly assertive❗
Exquisite balance, gorgeous and fruity👍.
The aftertaste is also a little pungent and not long❗
It was a sake that was easy to drink and happy👍.
