This year's Hiyaoroshi starts here. It's been a while since I've bought a GANKI because of the label, but it's still stable and delicious 😀. The first glass after taking it out of the fridge was too refreshing, but after the second glass, the rice flavor and the elegant sweetness are well balanced, and the food and sake go well together😋. OSAKA SAKE&FOOD EXPO 2024⑳ Lastly, we went to the Komatsuya booth again. Nechi from Nechiozan, which is not seen very often. There were many different rice varieties, but we chose the Koshitanrei 1st class rice 2020. Nechi is only available at authorized dealers. It was easy to drink with a beautiful taste and a hint of sweetness. The review of this event was a bit of a mess, so please refer to Nechi's post later on 🤣.

Moderate gassiness Slight pineapple and rice malt overtones The same full aroma, firm rice flavor, and mild sweetness as the topping, along with a small amount of citrus-like acidity, spread out with a pizzazz, and are quickly quenched by the slight spiciness and assertive bitterness of the alcohol. For a junmai daiginjo, the aroma is subdued, and the umami and richness of the rice can be felt, giving the sake a solid impression. It goes well with meals and is also delicious on its own. It went well with homemade hamburgers, fried oysters from Aono Suisan, fried horse mackerels, and crab cream croquettes. It went well with a Chinese chicken hamburger from Lucky Piero, a souvenir of Hakodate from an occasional work colleague.
