It was the month before last, but I finally landed in Kyushu for the first time. I drank "Tenshin Tokujun" at an izakaya I went to alone as soon as I arrived, and it was delicious. ‼️ I met up with my friends from Hokkaido a few hours later and had another drink! Kyushu Kiku! The label makes you feel like you're in Kyushu 😊It's a little classical, light and spicy, and it makes you want to eat more 😋The "Nuka-daki", which is fish cooked with rice bran, is also good 👍. I liked the Gundam Base that opened at New Chitose Airport before landing in Kyushu.

The acidity is citrusy with a crisp, bitter taste. Overall, it is a refreshing summer sake. It is well-balanced and can be drunk easily. The yeast seems to be different from last year's, and judging from the other reviews, it may be a different one. (It's also possible that my taste buds are wrong...) Akebono Shuzo's Akebono Seishun, well known for Tenmei. I drink Tenmei from time to time, but this label is new to me, so I opened the bottle 🎉. The aroma is gentle and subdued. It has a slight viscosity and seems to be quite sweet, but the bitterness soon develops. It then fades away leaving a complex umami taste. At 17 degrees alkalinity, the flavor is thick and robust from the first sip 👊. This Daiginjo is made from Yamada-Nishiki polished to 40%. We enjoyed this clear yet rich umami sake 😋.

Yesterday, I went to my favorite izakaya "我" ♡♡♡. I drank a variety of drinks in the all-you-can-drink 1 hour 1500 yen (*^^*) It was crowded, so I couldn't order at a high pitch, so I could only drink 9 kinds out of the 20 or so available...(-_-...) The 6th drink was "Miho". Oroku" and "Gassan" are the most famous sake from Shimane, so I haven't had many of the others. It has a strong sense of rice, but it's not mellow or fruity. This is my first New Year's Day back in my hometown Osaka. This year, my parents invited us to their department store Osechi. My sister and her husband brought me a bottle of Okutanba as a celebratory sake. You can feel the sweetness of the rice in the beginning, but it changes to a dry taste in the middle to the end. It is a perfect match for the richly flavored Osechi and fatty yellowtail sashimi. It is said that the sake degree is +5 (dry), but I feel that it is +2~3 (slightly dry?). I guess. Anyway, it was a delicious sake. Thanks to my sister and her husband!

The sake my sister and her husband served me at New Year's was so good that I decided to pick up another brand from the same brewery. Okutanba Junmai Ginjo. This is Yamana Shuzo's regular sake. Oh, dry? It's been a while since I've had a dry, crisp sake. Even though it's light and refreshing, you can still feel the taste of the rice right after you put it in your mouth. At the same time, there is a sense of alcohol, but the aftertaste is short, so it gives a refreshing impression. According to the brewery's website, it has a sake strength of +1. +Hmm? +1? It's not dry, is it? Once again, I realized that the accuracy of my tongue sensor is disappointing (tears). Well, everyone has their own way of feeling.
