This is the last Maikaze series for this year. It's been quite a while, but we'll be having "Mt. Haruna" for the last time! When the bottle is opened and poured, it has a relaxing sweet aroma. It has a peachy aroma. It also has a slightly banana-like flavor. The palate is smooth, as is typical of Gunma sake, with a slight sweetness that is typical of "Maifu" and a nice astringent taste that plays an active role in the background! The astringency also gives it a mineral taste, which I personally feel is similar to the "Tenpyo Junmai" that I drank before👍. In the latter half, the astringency becomes the main taste, which reminds me of grapefruit. It melts away at the end, so it goes down smoothly! I've enjoyed many Maikaze series this year, including "Akagisan"✨I'm looking forward to next year!

A bowl of oden at an oden shop in Shizuoka Station. I had no idea about this brand. The best part of traveling is being able to drink this kind of local sake with local food 😆. A little sweet and full, with a clean dry finish. It is not flashy, but there is no alcohol feeling that lingers in the throat and it is very smooth to drink 😄. It goes great with Shizuoka oden, which is a thick, dark broth with fishmeal, and if we weren't on a family trip, we would be drinking it endlessly 😅.... Also, I had a local B gourmet dish called "Motsuru Curry" for the first time, which was also very tasty👍👍!

Junmai one-cup of Koyoromo. This is the first time to drink Koyoromo. It is an orthodox Junmai sake, not heavy and refreshing, but it also has a hidden luster. I see that the brewery makes all of its sake from junmai sake. The label is Hiroshige's 53 Stages of the Tokaido, Nisaka.

It is a local sake, but I drank it for the first time. It had a soft mouthfeel, followed by a bitter taste and a nice sharpness. I learned from the label that it is called "Osaki. According to the explanation by the brewery, this sake is made by growing Miyamanishiki, Aikoku, and Hiyori rice in the company's own rice fields in Osaki, which is undergoing reconstruction.

Birthday gift alcohol, Part 2 It's called Sake no Wawa 50 check in. Ibaraki sake that Manachie hasn't had yet😊. It's clear, light, a little bitter and has quite a bit of sake feel to it. A little graininess. It is good to drink with soda or on the rocks. The more you drink red rice or ancient rice sake, the more you realize the greatness of Ine Mangaka 🤔.

Hinode Tsuru Junmai Ginjyo Miyamanishiki 60% 15% 720ml 1980yen We also bought a bottle of Honjozo at the brewery, but it was a completely different impression. The Honjozo was a little peculiar. This one is bitter with concentrated flavor and acidity. It is not at all dull. It is not flashy, but rather calm and delicate. The sweetness is graceful and has the taste of a first-class sake. The rice is local Miyamanishiki from Hitachiota. I found out that the heir who returned to his hometown had designed, brewed, and engineered the sake in a new attempt. This is the 38th sake brewery in Gifu Prefecture. This is one of the main brands of the Sugihara Sake Brewery in Ono-cho, Ibi-gun, which is famous for being the smallest sake brewery in Japan. It is sold at Tomikuya, the brewery's direct sales store, along with sakekasu (sake lees). It is also sold at a nearby roadside station in Ono-cho. The aroma is strawberry-like. It is filtered, but not excessively, so there is some lees floating on the surface. The palate has a weak acidity and the sweetness of the rice comes out well. It is a delicious sake with a long lingering aftertaste. Sugihara Shuzo is famous for its sake, but the brewery does not sell it, and there are only two stores in Gifu Prefecture that carry it, both by lottery, so getting it is a matter of luck. I would like to try it sometime.

We had a sake from Kyoto at a ryokan in Kyotango City. From the name, I guess it is a sake for experts. It was very dry in both aroma and taste, and was the sake of choice. I was tired from driving, and I was so drunk that I don't remember what I ate or how I tasted. It was a gem that reminded me once again not to drink and be drunk❗️.

@sakebar Fukuzo Fire-brewed sake using Fukuoka Prefecture's original yeast called F44. Slightly sweet aroma of 🍍 on the nose. The palate is slightly sweet with a hint of 🍍. The aroma is as if it was made with hana-yosuyu in mind. However, the aroma is weak because it is fire-aged. The sweetness is also weak due to the weak aroma. I am a little curious to see how it would be like if it were a fresh sake. It was delicious ✨🍍.

I bought this at the brewery's direct sales counter on my GW trip to Nagano! I had a great shopping experience with the courteous staff and went home feeling great! The aroma is what you would call "sake" with a hint of alcohol. It also has a grassy nuance. Immediately after taking a sip, there is a pleasant sourness that lasts until the end. Of course there is sweetness, but if anything, it is more umami. The bitterness is gentle at the end. It has a juicy atmosphere with acidity as if it is made from a sake yeast yeast. Kurosawa is a brewery that specializes in making sake from the "nama-hashiroshi," so I was convinced after drinking it that it was made from the "nama-hashiroshi. I was told at the brewery that the sake has an excellent balance of the four tastes of sweetness, flavor, acidity, and bitterness, and this is exactly what it tastes like. It has a good acidity, but it is not showy at all. It is a sake that goes well with any meal, and I am sure I will become a fan of Kurosawa Shuzo after drinking it. This is their regular product, so they are a brewery of extraordinary quality. It goes well with shime saba (mackerel), salty yakitori, grilled fresh onions, and omelettes! It goes with everything!

I bought this in front of Koumi station when I stopped by Nagano. It has a characteristic tangy al feeling, and this stimulation when heated sake is rather irresistible. It was a delicious dry sake with a great flavor and I would drink it again. However, in this day and age, I wonder if it is a good idea to hang rice on the label. It seems a waste.

On this day, I drove to my wife's parents' home in Saku. When we arrived after a two-and-a-half-hour drive from Tokyo, this local sake was waiting for us. It has an ear of rice on it. I will have a sip. It has the acidity and mellowness of a sake yeast yeast strain, and is dry and crisp. Tiredness melts away.
