ワカ太This is the fourth Kikuyoko stand.
Before I get too drunk to understand, let's go to No. 6.
This is a Taiwan support sake. Looking at the text on the back, it looks like this is RS -type, and it says "spin-off.
I can already feel the bitterness of the light bitterness, but it's more overwhelmingly delicious. It's sweet, sour, refreshing, and delicious😅.
I've seen it sold for 60,000 yen on Mercari before, so I'm going to savor it little by little with care.
But it's so good you'll want to drink it in droves 💕. えりりんWakata-san konban-ha (o´ omega`o)no~~!
Lots of delicious looking drinks 🤤.
6,000 yen is too expensive 😱😱😱😱😱 ワカ太Good morning, Erin 😃Yes, it was a gorgeous lineup and I enjoyed it 😆💕The prices of these things on flea market apps and the like are horrendous 😱. ワカ太Kikuyoko stand, the third one is Yamamoto.
This is Yamamoto's Japanese Rhyme.
He explained that he used a wine yeast for Chardonnay that he obtained overseas, and that he had a hard time making it. Wine yeast does not produce ginjo aroma, so it tends to be just sour, he said,
When we tasted the fruit of the brewer's efforts, we found that it had a sourness unique to wine yeast and was quite distinctive. But it is easy to drink and refreshing. ❣️
It is still a Japanese sake, as it is more of a Junmai Ginjo than a white wine 😆.
The person I was with brought a lot of snacks (3rd picture) and Kikuyoko stand was a corner 😅 friendly people and we had a good time interacting 👍. ワカ太Kikuyokostand, next up is Yukinobijin's Aiyama Koji.
The explanation was that while the standard junmai ginjo uses Misato Nishiki for koji rice, Aiyama is used for koji rice.
This is the only combination of Koji rice Aiyama and Kake rice Sake Komachi not only in Akita but also in the whole country.
The aroma is subdued. It has a freshness, which is sweet ‼️, but it is also rich ⁉️, with a strong rice flavor and a bitter taste at the end. Okay, it was a little different from the Yuki no Bijin I've had so far ✨. ジェイ&ノビィGood morning, Wakata 😃.
Akita Sake Rengo ‼️ is good 🤗
Yukimi! I had a Yamadanishiki No.6 yeast last year and it was so good 🥹I couldn't help but say "Yum! I remember saying "Yum!" 😋I'm also interested in the only one here: ‼️ ワカ太Jay & Nobby, good morning 😃Yukimi, you really are a good drinker, no matter which one you drink 😆👍This one has a strong liquor profile, but the balance of sweetness and richness was very mature 💕😋💕. ワカ太On the last day of Golden Week, I went to an event called Kikuyoko Stand at a liquor store I frequent.
What a wonderful event 😍 and what a great opportunity to drink the last of the Next 5 and get free refills on everything but Shinsei.
The manager said that the capacity of the event was smaller than usual, and that he was aiming for a small, relaxed atmosphere.
I was wondering what to drink first, and my choice was the Next 5. First things first 🩷.
I was told that this is the last one, and I tasted it.
Mmmm, it's like a barrel. Shinsei!
And a touch of lactic acidity. But the citrus goes by quickly and doesn't linger, it's delicious💕💕.
I can't afford the price, but it's still delicious after all, so it's hard to say it's the last one... 😓. ヤスベェHi Wakata 😀 I tried to sign up for the Kikuyoko stand but it was already full 🤣.
I hope you enjoy the sake god tomorrow😇.
I was going to barge in on the way if it was raining, but since it's somehow sunny, I'm off to go hiking in the mountains🤣. ワカ太Hi Yasbay, Hi 😃Ah, too bad you were full 😓It would have been fun to join you tomorrow 😭 but have fun climbing the mountain: ‼️ ヤスベェToday I opened a bottle of Oita Prefecture's Yuri Brewing, which I got from Sukumasa's March hanpukai 😀.
I like the hanpukai because it's a fun way to get sakes that are outside of your range of expertise 😀.
This sake had a strong acidity on the palate from the initial aroma 🤣.
The wife said it was not slightly carbonated ❓ but in my opinion it was more like a strong acidity than a slight carbonation 🤣.
It's fun to encounter flavors that you are not expecting at all😇.
In case you are wondering, next month I will be starting a hanpukai with Kadoya as well as Sukumasa, so I am looking forward to it 😀! Rafa papaGood morning Yasubeyesan😃.
I see you also participate in Sukumasa's hanpukai 😊You're right, hanpukai expands your world by allowing you to drink sakes that are out of your range 😌Sukumasa is far away and not open on Sundays so I haven't been able to visit yet 😅.... マルHi Yasbaye 😊
I'm glad you're a fellow hanpukai member of Sukumasa's ☺️
I'll have to drink more and more until I get to Kadoya's hanpukai 😳🤣. ヤスベェHi Rafa papa 😀
I really wanted to start with Kadoya-san's hanpukai, but last time there was no vacancy so I went with Sukumasa-san🤣.
I go to Sukumasa-san regularly to buy my sanchi 😇. ヤスベェHi Maru-san 😀
I'm glad to be in the same hanpukai group as you Maru-san😇
Your wife said this sake was slightly carbonated, but I thought it had a strong acidity... Maru-san agreed with you 🤣. ジェイ&ノビィGood evening, Yasbay 😃.
I know you are out drinking, attending events, and already have a full stock of food 😅And two more hanpukai 😳I'll be posting every day 🤗. ヤスベェHi Jay & Nobby 😀
I'm going to reduce my own purchases as much as possible and increase the weight of my hanpukai from now on because I'm biased if I only buy my favorite brands 😇.
Finally, I've seduced the wife into buying an additional sake cellar 🤣. ルテルテミLeap Day is sake squeezed on February 29 of every four leap years. The sake is made from Chiba Prefecture's Gohyakumangoku rice polished to 29% and brewed on this day.
It is an unfiltered, unpasteurized sake brewed with polished Chiba-grown Gohyakumangoku rice up to 29%. We managed to get our hands on a bottle.
I had it cold.
It has a fruity aroma and a gaseous feeling.
Fresh sweetness. Pineapple candy.
Like honey diluted...
The bitterness that comes after is a nice taste that brings it all together. My mother liked it so much that she had another one.
The small red flowers of the maple tree are lovely.
The season has come to a point where the vigor of the fresh green is clearly and vividly visible. ポンちゃんRutemi, good evening 🦉.
Cold chrysanthemum leap day! I'm glad you got it😊and how envious😻
It tastes like 🍍 candy and looks delicious! I definitely like it 😁 I'd love to try it!
The greenery is so beautiful this season! アラジンGood morning, Luteltemi 😃.
Leap day! You opened a nice bottle of sake 😊.
It was a sake I wanted to try and it tasted just like I imagined it would 🤤.
I'm glad your mother liked it too ☺️
I love the autumn leaves during the fresh green season 🍁. ルテルテミGood morning, Ponchan😄.
I was attracted to I degree in 4 years. I thought it would be your favorite flavor 🤗The entwining sweetness is also elegant 😋I am amazed at how fast the plants grow every time it rains 😄. ルテルテミGood morning Aladdin😄I think the taste is exactly what you imagine. It was too delicious to save 🤣The plants are growing and I'm in a hurry because I feel like I'm stepping on their toes 😅. ヤスベェHi Lutertemi 😀
Kangiku is one of my favorite brands and I wanted to try their leap year limited edition 🤣.
This time I only had Eiko Fuji's leap year limited edition, but I would like to try various leap year limited editions in 4 years time 😀. ルテルテミHello Yasbay😄 I didn't know there was a leap year only sake.
I didn't know that there was a sake only available in leap years.
I was lucky to get the Kangiku this time because of good timing. ✌️4 years later I want to be aware of it and try various things 🤨💪. ルテルテミOne of the cherry blossom viewing spots I looked for to take my mother to see cherry blossoms,
The cherry blossoms in the garden were in full bloom.
It was lunch time, so the garden was empty, and we had the luxury of private time to view the cherry blossoms, much to my mother's delight 😌.
I had wanted to drink this sake when the cherry blossoms bloomed.
I was finally able to get it this year 😆.
100% Omachi
13% alcohol by volume
Fresh and shwashy.
Light on the palate with a rummy aroma.
But it has a firm sweetness and umami flavor.
It has a good balance with acidity.
I was so excited! ポンちゃんHi Lutemi 🐦.
You've been kyun❤️ kyun❤️ 😆💕Spring is truly a delicious drink 🌸
Cherry blossoms🌸 are in full bloom! You and your mother had a wonderful hanami 😊. ルテルテミHi Pon-chan 🌸
I was so happy when I found it because I always wanted to drink after reading Pon-chan's review 😆 I promised my mother that I would go with her again next year. I promised my mother under the cherry tree that we would go together again next year. ☺️ ひるぺこGood evening, Rutemi. I was curious about Kogawa-ji Temple and looked it up. It is a beautiful temple for both cherry blossoms and autumn leaves. Hana kyun is also a perfect taste for the cherry blossom season💕Please enjoy cherry blossom viewing with your mother next year and have a hana kyun ❤️ kyun ❤️ 😊. ルテルテミGood evening, Hirupeko!
The rows of cherry blossom trees before arriving at Hirokawa-dera temple were beautiful too. ☺️ It's a hole in the ground. I am happy to finally be able to drink Hana-kun. Yes, I will go to see cherry blossoms with my mother again next year 😉. ヤスベェMy hard-to-find sake (6)
Today's bottle is a Junmai Daiginjo from Eikoufuji.
Why is it a hard-to-find sake?
Actually, I received this sake from Sukumasa's February hanpukai and it is called LEAP YEAR 2024 and is only released once every 4 years in a leap year 🤣 I was not aware that it was a leap year sake.
I didn't know much about leap year only sakes, but I heard there are several breweries that sell them 😇.
But if I hadn't signed up for Sukumasa's hanpukai, I wouldn't have noticed it at all 😅.
But if I hadn't signed up for Sukumasa's hanpukai, I wouldn't have even heard of them 😅.
The taste of Koneei Mitsuyoshi's super limited edition sake was hard to compare to Jikin and Imi's sake that we drank together 😀.
I was impressed that the sake tasted even better when it was chilled, fresh out of the fridge, than when it was brought to room temperature for the tasting 😇. かおりんIn an Olympic year 🍶, it is not easy to get this kind of sake in that sense. I didn't know that there was also this kind of sake. Rafa papaGood morning Yasube & Kaorin 😃
I see a lot of leap year limited edition sake at sakewa this year 😊I didn't start sakewa last leap year so I just found out about it this year 😅I'm jealous because I haven't had it yet 🤣. ヤスベェHi Rafa papa 😀
I too was completely unaware of the leap year limited edition sake 🤣.
Thanks to Sukumasa's hanpukai 😀.
The next time I can drink it will be in 4 years, so let's keep drinking it until then 😇 ポンちゃんHello Yasube and Kaorin 🐦.
I saw some of them at the liquor store but nothing came to me😅I finally realized after reading your review that it's been 4 years 😂Let's all keep going 😆. ヤスベェGood evening, Pon-chan 😀
Pon-chan is still young, so that's good,
I don't know if I will still be drinking in 4 years 🤣.
For now, I'll keep drinking as long as I can 😇 ヤスベェAfter taking the Sake Navigator course, my wife and I took the 3rd level of the Sake Certificate, and today we both received notification that we passed without incident 😀.
So today we are celebrating with a toast to our family's toast sake, Sansho 🍶.
I've written about it many times as a staple sake in our house, so I won't say what I think of it now, but it's definitely a delicious sake😇.
My wife says this is enough for her and that from now on we will enjoy sake without studying for exams, but I'm going to study sake a little more to improve my skills 😇. ひるぺこGood morning, Yasube, ☀️Congratulations on passing the 3rd level of the Japanese Sake Certificate🎊㊗️It's great that you and your wife are learning the knowledge side of sake drinking every time 👍Cheers to you and your family 🥂Enjoy your birthplace 😊. ジェイ&ノビィGood morning, Yasbay 😃.
Awesome, congrats on passing the 3rd level ㊗️ 🎉 You've studied hard and it's great!
We're just a couple of easy going people who just drink and have fun 😅 we're all awesome 🥹 and all we can think about is what we're going to drink 😆. Rafa papaGood morning Yasbay 😃.
Congratulations on passing level 3💮㊗️🎉🎊That's awesome 🤣I'd love to learn more about you next time 😁 ヤスベェHello, Hirupeko!
I have come to associate with people who have a lot of knowledge and experience in Sake-no-wa, so I am trying various challenges to get as close as possible to them 😀. ヤスベェHi Jay & Nobby 😃
One of the reasons I wanted to learn more about sake was because I started drinking sake and started walking around the breweries and seeing the old sake brewing exhibits and wondering what they were doing 🤣. ヤスベェHi Rafa papa 😀
Unfortunately I'm not at the level where I can teach you yet 🤣.
I'm trying to get closer to papa's and everyone else's knowledge and experience... I'm not close to it yet 😅. ポンちゃんCongratulations to Yasube and Kaorin for passing the exam 🎉🌸🌸.
I heard about it from Ms. Kaorin at the offline meeting. I can't help but say it's just amazing ‼️ I'm so happy for you 👍✨It turned out to be an incredibly tasty birthing ground ❣️ ヤスベェHi Pon 😀
It's a memory-only test, so I'm still a bit of a learner 🤣.
I hope to be able to accurately describe the drinks I've had soon like you guys, but I have a long way to go 😅. ルテルテミCongratulations to Yasube and Kaorin on passing the sake test 🍶🌸 I love that you two are studying together. It is quintessential that you have chosen to celebrate 😁. ヤスベェHi Lutertemi 😀
I'm really happy that we both managed to pass the exam 😇.
However, the wife says she's giving up any more, so I'll be working on my own from here on 🤣.
The birthplace was a stable and delicious 😀. Gokyoride? 桃色にごり純米大吟醸にごり酒 ヤスベェI had another sake in mind for today, but when Kaorin told me that today is the Peach Festival, I quickly changed today's sake 😀.
Today's sake is Gohashi Peach Color Nigori from my hometown in Yamaguchi Prefecture 😀.
I had prepared it to drink while viewing the cherry blossoms at the nearby Banpaku Park, but it was rained out so it remained in the fridge 🌸.
We compared Sentori hope, Rebirth and Tengu Mai 😀.
We opened a bottle of Gobashi's peach-colored nigori and started with the supernatant 🍶.
It's delicious 😀.
It was strawberry fizzy juice 😀.
Then I stirred the nigori and it turned out to be a peach-colored nigori sake 😀.
In honor of Kaorin, today's Peach Festival is successfully over 😇. かおりんOn the day of the Dolls' Festival, I am happy to toast with pink sake 🍶 and my favorite nigori: ☺️ マルGood evening, Yasbaye 🌖.
I love how you cherish your milestone, Yasbaye 👍.
Strawberry fizzy juice 🍹 sounds delicious 😋. Rafa papaGood evening Yasube & Kaorin 😃.
Too bad you couldn't drink it at the Expo but I'm glad you were able to drink it at the Peach Festival 😊 Kaorin's favorite nigori for the Peach Festival...Yasbaye is so kind...🤣 ヤスベェHi, Maru-san 😀
Sake in Japan has four seasons, so it's fun to be able to pair it with the seasons too 😀!
It's finally the season for spring sake, but I still don't have any space in my fridge, so I have to drink my existing sake soon 🤣! ヤスベェHi Rafa papa 😃
I couldn't drink sake while viewing the plum blossoms at the Expo park, so I'm thinking about drinking while viewing the cherry blossoms, but I'm still pondering what to do now that I've had Gobashi😇.
I need to score some points once in a while😅 ポンちゃんThanks for the offline meeting, Yasbay & Kaorin 😊.
It's perfect for the Dolls' Festival 🎎 ❣️ I think it's great timing even though the schedule has changed 👍✨I cherish events and seasons, too🎶. ヤスベェThank you so much, Pon-chan 🙏.
I probably wouldn't have been able to attend such a wonderful offline meeting if I hadn't had the opportunity to talk with you Pon 😀.
I've opened a bottle of Gobashi and I'm wondering what to bring to the Hanami 🤣. ヤスベェDrink and support ③.
Today, we had Tengu Mai's sake to support the recovery 😀.
We had room temperature and warmed sake to go with Chinese food such as sweet-and-sour pork, based on Hirupeko's post 😀.
We compared hope, revival and honkin 😀.
The sake was more yellowish than the "renaissance" sake and had a more "cottagey" image, but when I drank it, it was not "cottagey" at all, and although it had a little bit of a throat, it was very refreshing and delicious.
Here comes the heated sake 😀 😀
It was delicious and nicely mildewed 😀!
Three bottles of sake were lined up to support Ishikawa, and they were all so delicious that I really felt like they were supporting me 😀. アラジンGood evening, Yasbay 😃.
Drinking and cheering 📣 is good 📣 ☺️ and what a great way to make the drinker feel cheered 😊.
Yasbaye's post is fun to look at because of the comparison of different drinks and temperatures 😄. ポンちゃんGood evening, Yasbay 🦉.
Three bottles of cheering sake 😳‼️ is wonderful! It's nice for the drinker that each one is a different type 👍I, like you, am also cheered up by cheering sake🎶. Rafa papaGood morning Yasbaye 😃
Yasbaye's supportive spirit has cheered me up as well 😊It's important to be supportive 😌. ヤスベェHi Aladdin 😀
I hope one day to be able to give a proper impression of each bottle like you do, but I'm not there yet, so I rely on drinking comparisons and temperature change impressions 🤣. ヤスベェHi Pon 😃
I really wanted to add Yoshida Kura u yellow to this drinking comparison after reading your post, but I couldn't 😢.
But I'm glad I planned it because all the sakes have different tastes and yet are delicious😇. ヤスベェGood evening, Rafa papa 😀
As papa said before, I would like to continue this drinking and cheering event not as a one-time event, but as a continuous one, and I am glad that all the drinks are worthy of it 😀. 遥瑛チチGood evening, Yasube-san 🌆.
3 bottles of Ishikawa sake, awesome ❗️
You're so passionate about supporting the disaster area 👍.
I'll try to open a bottle of Noto sake little by little without being wasteful 😄. ヤスベェGood evening, Haruei Chichi 😀.
I can feel your passion for Chichi-san and I'm glad to have met this sake as well 😀.
But all the sakes were delicious in their own way, so I'm looking forward to seeing Chichi-san's opening and tasting the sakes he has on hand in Omachi 😀. ヤスベェNigorinpic 8
The sake I had reserved in time for the Nigorinpic was also a light nigori-style sake from Kuheiji, which I entered into the Nigorinpic in a hurry 😀 As you can see, it was not nearly as cloudy as the previous light nigoris.
As you can see, compared to the previous light nigoris, there was almost no hint of nigoriness 😀.
I compared the supernatant and the stirred one, and it tasted just as good as it looked 😀.
It had a fruity taste like other light nigori, but it was a bit dry, but you could feel the sweetness of the rice 😀.
It's delicious ❤️
Today we compared Urasato and Tasake's light nigori, which had been opened earlier, and Urasato was the most fruity 😀.
Today I tried Tasake warmed up to lukewarm and it was also delicious... even my wife who is not good at warming up sake said the Tasake light nigori warmed up was delicious 😀. ポンちゃんGood evening, Yasube!
Kuheiji-san looks delicious too! I completely forgot about it this year 😆 Aside from that, I'd love to try a heated bottle of the lightly nigori rice wine from Tasake, which is OK with Kaorin as well 💦 Too bad I can't get my hands on some ❣️ sake. Rafa papaGood morning Yasube-san 😃I haven't had kuheiji for a while.
I haven't had kuheiji for a while 🙄The nigori nigori kuheiji looks delicious 😋I didn't even try the nigori tasake this year 😅I'll try it next year if it's good even for a wife who doesn't like heated sake😁. ジェイ&ノビィHi Yasbay 😃
I wrote 🤔 that I haven't had a cup of Kuheiji for a while and Rafa wrote the same thing 😆.
Kaorin, you are starting to notice the deliciousness of heated sake, and you are getting more and more addicted to it 😋. ヤスベェGood evening, Pon 😀
I'm enjoying the various taste changes of nigori sake 😇
Tomorrow, I would like to continue the challenge by heating this brewer's nigori to lukewarm 😀.
Will it work or will I fail 🤣 ヤスベェHi Rafa papa 😀
I'm not sure how to choose the sake I want to drink since I can't drink all of them 😅.
I'm looking forward to this brewer's nigorigo, I'm sure it will taste different when heated up 😀. ヤスベェHi Jay & Nobby 😀
I think brewer Kuheiji is a pretty famous sake, but you don't see it in many sakéwa posts 🤣.
Everyone seems to be busy trying new flavors, no time to go back 😅. ルテルテミGood evening, Yasubeyesan😁.
I reserve a table at Kuheiji every year but this year I forgot 😅The heated Tasyu light nigori sake looks delicious. I'll make a note of it 😃. ルテルテミI was looking for something soft in the fridge for dessert after dinner because I can't chew hard food, and the only thing left was vanilla ice cream, which I hate 😂.
It's hard for me because I don't like milk.
That's where this sake comes in.
I had a bottle of this sake in the first sale set, but it was too late to open it because it is hard to match with food.
It is gassy, rich, and tastes like ripe melon.
But the sweetness is strong. It's delicious, but....
So I sprinkled it on vanilla ice cream 🍨 and it turned into a rum raisin-like taste 🤩 and I can eat it without any discomfort. ✌️
It became a gorgeous dessert.
The photo shows my second refill 🤣. ポンちゃんGood evening, Lutemi 🦉.
I'm glad you enjoyed the ice cream 😊 stylish dessert👍💕.
I'm sure you can still do more pairing of sweets and alcohol 😆. ルテルテミGood evening, Pon 😁.
It's interesting to see how you use the Kijoshu. Thank you for softening the taste of milk in vanilla ice cream ☺️
The pairing is profound 😄. アラジンVertical drinking comparison of San-do Hozumasu 4 Nozomi 🍶.
Next up was the San-Do 2023 Homasu 4 Nozomi.
This is the second bottle of San-do this season and the first bottle of Hozasu.
When the bottle is opened, there is only a gas sound and the gas is weaker than that of 2022 and San-do Yamadanishiki.
The appearance is warm crystal with a small amount of larger bubbles in the glass🫧.
First, there is a woody aroma like spices.
From there, pear, Japanese pear, and pineapple aromas with silky apricot and citrus nuances like sudachi with a hint of chili acidity.
It starts with a gentle stimulation of gasiness, followed by a refreshing yet complex sweetness that flows down the palate, overlapped by a thick umami, and then a moderate acidity including a refreshing acidity that flows down the back of the throat and finishes with a sharp finish.
The flowing sweetness, umami, and acidity finish with a hint of bitterness and complexity.
The after-flavor also has a woody nuance of spice.
Compared to 2022, it has more transparency and a clean, dry expression, but I still like it very much 🥰.
Delicious 😊.
By the way, I got a "this is delicious ☺️" from my wife who doesn't drink alcohol on a regular basis 😳.
My wife usually shows interest in my drinks and never 🙅♀️ even if she puts her mouth on it, but this time she took a couple of sips and nodded her head 😊. ヤスベェGood morning, Aladdin 😀
I'm jealous of your vertical drinking comparison of the four farm brews 😀.
I'd like to do it someday too, but it's going to be difficult both in terms of fridge and desire to drink to store the produced brews for a year 🤣. ジェイ&ノビィHi Aladdin 😃
A vertical drinking comparison of San-Do Hozu! It's a wonderfully gorgeous 🤩drinking comparison 🤗 even your wife, who doesn't usually drink, approves 😋 It's San-do 😄! ポンちゃんHi Aladdin 🐦.
After the Jikin, the next in the lineup is the Sansho Masu drinking comparison ‼️ From my point of view, Bon and New Year's have arrived 🙏✨.
I can usually decide which one I prefer from your reviews, but these two bottles are... both 😁💕! アラジンGood evening, Yasbay 😃.
I rarely get to compare sanshu drinking too 😌 this time it was a celebration for Instagram 😅.
I can see a near future where Yasbaye-san & Kaorin-san are at an electronics store choosing a sake cellar 😁. アラジンGood evening Jay & Nobby 😃.
I wanted to try it once because I love birthing soil ☺️
You're right to try it😊I think I understand sambudo a little better now 🤔 or is it my imagination 🤣.
I was happy to see that my wife also liked the sanshi 🥂. アラジンGood evening, Pon-chan 😃.
After seeing Pon-chan, Maru's Shinmasa, Rafa's Jikkoman, and everyone else's posts, I decided to make it a Sansho anniversary as well 😊.
Of course I'm both 🏅 for the San-do match-up: ☺️ superbebeGood evening, Aladdin😄.
I drank some San-Do when I was in Kumamoto last month.
I was a little drunk and forgot to read the label 😟.
Ni no brew or San no brew.
I don't even know what I drank🫠🫠. アラジンGood evening, superbebe😃.
Kumamoto is the hometown of Hananoka Sake Brewery and I envy you because your sansho is a familiar sake: ☺️
I am sure that the sake you drank was probably delicious whether it was Yamadanishiki, Hozu, or any of the other noujozo 😁. アラジンThis time, we will be comparing vertical drinks of our favorite Sancho Hoso 🍶.
We will compare last year's (2022) and this year's (2023) Yononoso.
The first one is San-do-homasu Shi-no-zozo 2022.
When I put my thumb on the lid, the bottle opens automatically.
It is a quieter sake than San-do, but has a strong gaseous taste as a Hozu.
The appearance is warm crystal and the bubbles in the glass are fine 🫧.
The spice-like woody aroma is weaker than 2023, with sweet aromas of Japanese pear, pear, banana, and pineapple, and citrus nuances with chili acidity, more like yuzu with sweetness.
On the palate, the fruity sweetness is intense and spreads with a sense of gas, while the gentle acidity mixes with the sweetness and flows to the back of the throat, leaving a lingering, faint acidity to kick in.
The finish is moderate, with a slight astringency on the tongue.
The sweetness and umami of pears, white peaches, and white grapes that even thicken and spread, mixed with a hint of complexity and bitterness that feels like a blessing of nature, is what I like about Hozu.
The 2022 has more of these characteristics, and I think it is richer, sweeter, and more complex than the 2023.
It has been aged in ice temperature for 6 months, so that may have some influence 🤔.
It's still delicious 🥰. ヤスベェGood morning, Aladdin 😀
I'm so happy to know that you are a Sansho fan, just like me 😀.
Kaolin also says that there are many other fruity drinks, but for me this is the fruity one 😀. 遥瑛チチGood morning, Aladdin 😃.
Nice to see you are doing a vintage drinking comparison in your home country👍.
I guess it must have been difficult for you to drink all the gas out of the bottle once you open it ❓ アラジンGood evening, Yasubeyesan 😃.
Not only our tastes in sake, but also the timing of opening the bottle 😁I'm also glad that my tastes are the same as yours and Kaorin's 🍶☺️
Let's continue to pursue our fruity tastes and meet our ecstatic tastes 🍶. アラジンGood evening, Haruei Chichi 😃.
This time we splurged because of Instagram 😁.
Our sake fridge is at -5°C, so the laying land also has a gassy feeling for 3 days. I don't know about more than that as this one can't stand it and empties 🤣. ヤスベェToday is our 8th wedding anniversary!
Actually, I'm divorced, but today marks the longest we've been married since the last time 🤣.
I met Kaorin at the gym and we became friends over drinks, so I guess our tastes and interests match 😀.
We would have had a dinner out, but I had to work on a three-day weekend, so we decided to celebrate at home and I asked my wife what she wanted to drink, and she said sparkling sake, so I chose San-do 😀.
We had 3 bottles of San-do in the fridge at home, but I chose the Gononozo for my first drink 😀.
I actually prepared this sake with the intention of bringing it to a drinking party with my friends, but it ran out so I opened the bottle today😅.
I've compared the two so far and I managed to tell the difference between the two, but this time I couldn't tell much difference between the four and the five 🤣.
My wife and I both have stupid tongues and all we could say was that it tasted good and was a fruit😅.
I still have a lot to learn 😭.
So our wedding anniversary present is this little bouquet of flowers and a ticket to the sake navigator's workshop that will be held soon 🤣.
We will both learn from scratch 😀. かおりんThanks for the flowers 💐 and the toast to our wedding anniversary at the birthplace, it will be memorable 😊!
I must make this stupid tongue a little more sensitive this year! Thank you, Sir😊. マルHappy wedding anniversary to Yasbay and Kaorin: ㊗️💐
Celebrating in the birthplace, and in Gonoho brewery 🥂.
It's a beautiful day 😊.
And what a great gift, tickets to the workshop 👏!
You two are the best of friends and sake masters 👍 九蔵Yasube-san, Kaorin-san, 🎉
They are good friends 🍶 Back to the mountain ひるぺこGood evening, Yasbeh. Congratulations on your wedding anniversary 🎊Celebrate with your birthplace👍You two are drinking together daily and you are a wonderful couple💕. 遥瑛チチGood evening, Yasbay🌇.
Happy wedding anniversary 💒㊗️🎊🎉
I'm also a silly tongue 👅, but I'm reviewing as I please, so please keep posting as much as you like 😁. ねむちHappy wedding anniversary, Yasube and Kaorin 🎉🎊It was a wonderful day 😊It's nice to spend time with the same hobbies and to get to know each other so well 🤗Oh, I have the same stupid tongue and even more stupid nose 🤣! I have the same stupid tongue and even more stupid nose 🤣. ジークじこんHappy wedding anniversary, Yasbay 🎊㊗️🎉!
This is the perfect birthplace for our wedding anniversary👍!
Sake is a common hobby and it's nice to be able to drink together!
I think it's wonderful that you share a common hobby of sake and can drink it together. ❣️
I wish you both a long and happy life together. TakashiCongratulations, Yasube!
Have a pleasant sake life! And a fun life!
Have a fun married life! ジェイ&ノビィGood evening, Yasbay & Kaorin 😃.
Congratulations on your wedding anniversary 💍🎉It's nice to have a common hobby as a couple 🤗and you both have a great passion for learning👍we should learn from you too😅 アラジンHappy wedding anniversary to Yasube and Kaorin! ㊗️💍㊗️
It's great that you and your husband have the same interests☺️🍶⛰️🏃♀️ and you're probably both the type of people who, once you start to get into something, you just go for it 😁.
I wish you a wonderful sake life in the future! 勉強中Happy wedding anniversary to Yasbay and Kaorin 🎉㊗️. Thank you for the photos of the delicious looking food and the birthplace that seems to match the birthplace. It is wonderful👍. ヤスベェThank you, Maru 😀
I'll never be a master of alcohol 🤣.
I just want to learn to be able to talk about alcohol as much as you do 😀.
Please keep up the good work 🙇. ヤスベェThank you, Kyuzo 😀
Today I tried to be a bit of a good friend 🤣....
Please keep up the good work 🙇🙇🙇🙇. ヤスベェThank you, Hirupeko 😊.
We originally became friends at a wine drinking party, I liked white and Kaorin liked red 🤣.
Good thing we became sake lovers at the same time 😀.
I look forward to working with you in the future 🙇♀️ ヤスベェThank you very much, Haruei Chichi 😊.
I'm a beginner in sake and can't express myself well and accurately like you do, so I'd like to get better at drinking it little by little 😀.
Please keep up the good work 🙇. ヤスベェThank you, Nemuchi 😊.
On my days off, I enjoy hiking, visiting temples, and enjoying good sake... I'm doing just fine with this 🤣.
I'm going to study interesting pairings with Nemuchi as a reference in the future 😀. ヤスベェThank you very much, Sieg Jikon 😊.
I guess the flippancy of the two of us being able to toast in unison with Sieg Jik Kon is the reason why we managed to continue this time 🤣.
I will continue to enjoy sake in the future 🙇. ヤスベェThank you very much, Takashi 😀.
Just having the common enjoyment of sake is a factor that somehow allows us to live together safely 🤣.
I will continue to enjoy sake in the future 🙇 Thank you! ヤスベェThank you, Jay @ Nobby 😀.
I always refer to their wonderful sake life 😀.
I will continue to enjoy sake with Jay and Nobby as my references. ヤスベェThank you very much, Aladdin 😀.
I've made connections with Aladdin and other wonderful people at Sake no Wa, and I hope to be able to understand sake as well as you do as soon as possible 😅.
I'm still learning, so please help me out 🙇. ヤスベェThank you, I'm still learning 😀.
I'm still learning about pairings, but in our family, we're in a boom to pair meat with our birthplace 🤣.
I still have a lot to learn about drinking and pairing, so please keep in touch 🙇♀️ boukenHappy wedding anniversary, Yasubey👰🤵🎉!
When I met you for the first time at Shoreki-ji Temple, I could tell that you two seemed to be very close 🥰.
I hope you two continue to have a wonderful sake life together🤗. ヤスベェThank you very much, bouken😊.
I would like to enjoy the sake life with a lot of information and knowledge from people in Sake no Wawa, especially those in Kansai, so please keep up the good work 🙇. ポンちゃんHappy wedding anniversary, Yasube & Kaorin 🎉💐.
We are so happy to be able to enjoy drinking together 💖I'm sure you two will enjoy the workshop together 🎶Please let us know what you learned 😊🙏🙏. ヤスベェThank you, Pon 😀.
I appreciate the fact that we can drink together 😀.
I'd love to share what I've learned with you... but if I drink it, it will probably all end up being delicious 🤣. ジャイヴHappy wedding anniversary, Yasube and Kaorin🎉!
It's great that you two can enjoy and learn from each other's common interests ✨.
I'd like to try "Gonouzou" someday 😁. ヤスベェThank you, Gyve 😀.
We both have stupid tongues, so we are learning a lot from you guys 😅
But I've come to think that in a way we are happy to be able to enjoy drinking while talking silly things together 😀. ルテルテミCongratulations to Yasbay and Kaorin on your wedding anniversary ㊗️🎉💐I could feel your friendship when I met you😊It's nice that you and your wife study the same hobby 😁. ヤスベェI finally got to drink it 😀.
One of the 3 brands I wanted to drink this year is Yoshida Kurau 😀
What a surprise, I found it at the liquor store where I always go to buy San-do 🤣.
I must have overlooked it because I was so happy to buy it 😅.
Pon-chan and Natsuame recommended it to me as a good sake for me, and it was exactly what I was looking for 😀 It was so delicious 😀.
It was so delicious 😀.
It was much better suited for me than the more expensive Morishima Jun Dai that we compared 😀.
In case you are wondering, this Yoshida Sake Brewery is also in Ishikawa Prefecture and must have been affected by the earthquake to some extent, but they have launched a crowdfunding campaign called "Don't Stop Sake from Noto" 😀.
The project is to match breweries in Noto that are unable to make sake for a while due to the disaster with breweries across Japan such as Senkou, Akabu, Kamigawa Taisetsu, and Aburacho, and give them recipes to make sake in their stead or even collaborate with them to make sake 😀.
The sake will be ready in June or later, so you may be able to drink a collaboration sake made by Senkyu with Okunoto's Shirakiku or Kaze no Mori 😀.
I hope everyone will join forces and work towards the future, even if only a little 😀. マルGood evening, Yasbay 🌑.
Sorry 🙏I thought I knew where you could buy it 💦I should have told you 😅.
I saw that Yoshida Kura's Kijoshu was up too 🥰.
In any case, congrats on your first drink ㊗️🎉 ヤスベェHi Maru, good evening 😀.
No, no, not at all 😅.
You think I know you since you say you go there all the time 🤣.
I had my eyes on Sanzo, instruments and Morishima and not on Yoshidagurau 😅. 夏雨Good evening Yasbaye 😊.
Well, I knew it would definitely suit you Yasbaye ✨I'm glad you were able to drink your target sake for this year 😆I also recommend Ishikawa-mon 👍I'm looking forward to the collaboration sake. I hope I can be of some help in the Noto recovery. ヤスベェGood morning, Summer Rain 😀
As Mr. Summer Rain said, it really was a don't-miss drink for me and my wife 😀.
No need to buy expensive sake 🤣.
It's nice to see a brewer from the same Ishikawa prefecture working for a competitor 😀. ジェイ&ノビィHi Yasbay 😃
We would like to have a bottle of this wine too, but we can't seem to find it 😢I knew it was good 😋. ヤスベェHi Jay & Nobby 😀
We love sweet and savory schwarzies, and this one was perfect for us 😀.
We had the Hyakumangoku No Shiro, and since you recommended the Ishikawamon, we would like to get it again 😀. ポンちゃんHi Yasbay 🐦.
I'm so glad you had a chance to try it! And I'm glad it suits your palate 〰〰〰,00I want to try it since I haven't tasted this one yet😊I went to buy the kijoshu that Maru-san mentioned as a cheering sake... ヤスベェGood evening, Pon 😀
I thought this was the standard sake since it was the only one on the line 🤣.
I guess it must be seasonal 😅.
The supporting sake, Kijoshu, looks good too 😀. ヤスベェToday we opened our first bottle of Morishima 😀.
We chose Omachi 40% Junmai Daiginjo for our first Morishima to compare with the previously opened Nabeshima and Sakushinshu Junmai Daiginjos 😀.
But we didn't bother to do such a comparison 😅
Morishima 25+ Junmai Daiginjo Omachi 40% was a completely different drink 🤣.
The fruity aroma and taste are there, but the taste is so clear and transparent, no cloying taste at all 😳.
I thought Nabeshima's Junmai Daiginjo was also quite clear, but even my stupid tongue could tell that it was on a different level of clear 🤣.
But I guess there are different tastes 😅.
I think there are a lot of people who feel it's not enough because it doesn't have the right amount of miscellaneous flavors that can accentuate the taste 🤣.
Anyway, I'm just impressed because I've never tasted such a clear taste before in my life 😀. ジェイ&ノビィGood evening, Yasbay 😃.
Congratulations on your first Morishima ㊗️ 🎉
I guess it's possible to compare and contrast the two to emphasize the characteristics 🤗Clear Morishima it is 😋.
Please try Morishima's Miyamanishiki 👋 ポンちゃんHi Yasbaye 🐦.
Congratulations on your first Morishima 🎉 great that you drank this class for the first time 😳 I think the taste is very different 👍✨I would like to taste it😊 ヤスベェHi Pon 😀
I was excited about this being my first Morishima, but apparently it was still too early for me 😢.
It was too clear and beautiful and I couldn't get to the depth and nuances of flavor in the taste 😢. ヤスベェHi Jay & Nobby 😀
For me, this Morishima-san was a difficult drink 😢.
It was too beautiful to understand the breadth and depth of flavor 😅.
If I get a chance, I will definitely try it with the recommended Miyamanishiki 😀. ヤスベェFinally, Kaorin and I were able to sit around the dinner table together 😀.
Since we were going to be there, we decided to have a sparkling sake that the wife likes... and among the sparkling sake, we decided to have the Shinmasa Flax Cat Sparkling, which is her favorite sparkling sake 😀.
I think Flaxcat Sparkling is the best sparkling sake among all sparkling sake 😀.
It tastes much better than a bad champagne. ❤️
Seems a bit too good to celebrate your wife's full recovery 😅.
I told Kaorin and she offered me some special Valentine's Day chocolates that she bought while I was at work yesterday 😀.
Chocolates from Tatenogawa and Tomikunaga: ❤️
Flax cat sparkling and sake chocolates go well together 😀.
So please give me another chocolate (sake) for Valentine's Day 🤣. かおりんI saw all kinds of chocolates yesterday. It goes well with sparkling sake😊. 夏雨Good evening, Yasbay 😊.
Well, you opened a nice sake ✨✨I envy you 😆.
There is sake that goes well with chocolate👍I'm also interested in Kaorin's gift of sake chocolate 🍫 looks delicious👌. WOMMr. Yasbay. Nice to meet you! A good sake to celebrate your wife's full recovery. The sweet bitterness of the flax cat, seems to go well with chocolate! Rafa papaGood morning Yasbay 😃.
Chocolates for Valentine's Day are flying 🔫Is it ok because they can buy me new ones again... 🤔Sake with chocolate is always good 🤣. ポンちゃんGood morning, Yasbay 🐥.
Flax cat spark and chocolate 🍫 go well together 😳I'll try to buy some 😊.
Nice chocolate 😁 the box is already top notch✨ what did it taste like? ヤスベェHi, summer rain 😀
I'm too small minded to open the bottle without such a chance 🤣.
The chocolate is a raw chocolate cube type with sake kneaded into it, I preferred the snowman chocolate bonbon type from last year! ヤスベェHi WOM 😀
It's always just a decoration in the fridge, so this time I took the plunge and opened a bottle 🤣.
It was moderately good, just like champagne with chocolate 😀. ヤスベェHi Rafa papa 😀
Kaorin said on her own that she has some chocolate and she wants to open it 🤣.
I'll take responsibility and get her to buy another one for Valentine's Day 🙆 ヤスベェHi Pon 😀
Tomikyucho's was white and Tatenokawa's was regular, both were cubes of raw chocolate with sake kneaded into them 😀.
They were delicious, but not so much sake 🤣. ジェイ&ノビィHi Yasbay 😃.
Cheers to the flax cat spark 🥂 and I'm sure you'll be fully satisfied👍.
And no matter 😅 isn't it a miracle that this one previous post is by "Yasubeyesan" ⁉️😳 ヤスベェHi Jay & Nobby 😀
I opened the bottle with a good feeling since the wife is back safely and without any sensitization to me 😀.
Starting today, I'm going to empty the fridge with another drinking series 🤣.
Surprised by Yasube-san😅 マルGood evening, Yasube-san 🌖.
Congratulations on Kaorin's recovery 🎉.
Lovely celebration with Flax Cat Spark and Sils Maria 😊.
I was also very impressed with the connection 👍 ルテルテミThis is one of Sukumasa's New Year set.
The timing was good, as I was able to drink Mimuro Cedar's Minamiki Oke Bodai Hashiro Minamiki Oke-1 just after attending the Bodai Hashiro Sake Festival at Shoreki-ji Temple.
I'm a person who is easily interested in other things😅.
The aroma was melon-like, and I was relieved to find that it did not smell like the pickles I had imagined. When I put it in my mouth, I could smell the aroma of wooden vats and cedar wood, and the complex flavor was intertwined with a rich but clean sweetness.
On the second day, the taste was even more integrated and delicious.
It went well with duck sukiyaki and hamburgers.
I would like to try the other barrels, but they are too expensive for me to afford 😂. ジェイ&ノビィGood morning, Lutertemi 😃.
When I gave you Mimuro Cedar the other day, Aladdin recommended Bodhi Hashi as beautiful and delicious 😊I would like to taste it 😅 if it is not that expensive 😋. ヤスベェHi Lutertemi 😀
It looks like the same Bodhidhara but with a much different feel than Yatagarasu 😀.
I'm glad it's not a pickle aroma 😀.
My Mimuro cedar is still sleeping for the time being 😀. ルテルテミHi Jay & Nobby 😃
We were able to drink two different types of cedar, the samorosugi and the mimurosugi and both were delicious. Please try them 😁. ルテルテミHello Yasube!
The last time I bought a bottle of Sanomorosugi Bodhi Hashiroshi at Shoreki-ji Temple, I drank it 2 months after the production date and it was so good that I was traumatized from the Yatagarasu and was anxious to taste the wooden vat Bodhi Hashiroshi, but it was so good 😆.
