HYOGO SAKE EXPO 2023⑳ Everyone's favorite dreaming sheep, Mr. Ozeki, is a familiar face at this year's HYOGO SAKE EXPO. We tasted Shin-Tanba Nigori Shin Tamba Junmai Number: Junmai Daiginjo-genshu The very best sweet sake Jiene-no-shu Tamaki Junmai-Ginjo Osakaya Junmai Daiginjo Jyu-danjikomi Junmai Daiginjo Dry Tamba nigori is spicy, just spicy. I think the Spicy Tamba Junmai was a little full-bodied. Number: is a sake with a serial number. I think it was sold at a local business supermarket, but I wondered if they could sell such an expensive one at a business supermarket 😅. I wondered😅. I've seen the very best sweet sake in the supermarket, but it was just plain good. The "ring" was the best of all the products from each brewery and one of the best of the current event. The Osakaya and Jyudan-shikkomi are very high class sakes. I'm not sure if I would choose to buy this class of sake if I had to.... From here on, I was joined by a mysterious Kembishi girl who came alone 😊. It's like an RPG party, isn't it? 🤣

Pacho and Pucho are so bombed out, they're going to get mixed up🤣. HYOGO SAKE EXPO 2023⑲ (1923) Nihonmori is a good sake ♫ I've never heard of this one before 😥. We tasted the following Junmai Daiginjo Nama Sake Souka Junmai Ginjo Junmai Daiginjo Nama Sake is a raw sake that can be distributed at room temperature. It is often seen in supermarkets and mass merchandisers. It was my first time to drink it, and it was better than I expected. Whether you buy it or not is another matter... Sobana is sake for the Imperial Household Agency. I have had it in the past, and it has a traditional atmosphere with a little sweetness and gorgeousness.

HYOGO SAKE EXPO 2023⑱. Sawa~no-tsuru~ ♫ I don't see any commercials lately.... I think it was composed by Kida Taro 🤔. I have the impression that the person in charge of the major sake breweries is not very talkative, but Sawanotsuru-san's talk was light and enjoyable. I tasted the following NADA88 Junmai Daiginjo NADA88 Junmai Daiginjo SHUSHU Light Sake for the occasion Sometimes you want to get drunk on a night out. Junmai Daiginjo Zuizo Kimoto-san, a sake brewer who makes sake using the traditional sake yeast NADA88 is a collaboration project with Yanmar. I bought a similar sake a long time ago and it was very subtle, but this one was sweet and fruity and shockingly delicious. If I had stopped by Sawanotsuru on the first stop, I would have bought it, although it was quite expensive at 2,000 yen per batch 🤣. The three small bottles are sold in supermarkets, but they all have the same taste and are delicious. The "Sometimes I want to get drunk" is a casual label, but it has a high alcohol content, so be careful 😁. I've been interested in Kobe1717 for a long time, but I think I drank them in the wrong order...it was after NADA88, so it didn't make an impression on me. To sum it up, everything was delicious🤣Sawa-no-Tsuru is to be feared!

HYOGO SAKE EXPO 2023⑰. More major sake breweries will be exhibited from here. I recommended hakuturu branc, a rare sake, to the Nemuchis. Until recently, this sake was basically limited to restaurants and was not distributed. It has a wine-like flavor. I have had it in the past, so I didn't drink it this time. I tasted the following Super Special Yamadaho Junmai Daiginjo Shoun Junmai Daiginjo Hakutsuru-nishiki grown in-house Shoun Junmai Ginjo Hakutsuru Nishiki These are delicious without any complaints. They are the real sake of a major company. I wanted to try the original Hakutsuru-nishiki.

Mr. Bouken. Good morning... I'd like to try some of the sake you introduced, not just the regular sake from the major sake breweries. Recently, Urakasumi has been brewing limited edition sake and seasonal sake in the prefecture, so I hope I can come across them.

HYOGO SAKE EXPO 2023⑯. Daikoku Masamune, which I have not been able to buy because of all the tastings. I am always sorry 🙇. I tasted the following Chiyogami Junmai Ginjo Benitenjo Junmai Ginjo (forgot to take a picture) I think I may have had something else, but I was too engrossed in the conversation to remember 🤣. Chiyogami is different from the Daikoku Masamune I've had, it's refreshing, slightly sweet, and easy to drink. They use Chiyogami for the labels, and all the labels are different. Benitenjo is a collaboration with Glass Mask? The label is drawn by Suzue Minouchi. The label was drawn by Suzue Minauchi. It was fruity and delicious. I was so absorbed in talking with the brewer that I forgot to take a picture of Benitenjo. I heard an unfortunate story here. Yamamoto Sake Brewery in Kuise has closed down... 😢. I think they closed at the end of September. The owner's son passed away a few years ago, and the mother and her daughter-in-law were running the business, but it was tough for them to continue. It's a shame, because the mother's warm service was very good.

HYOGO SAKE EXPO 2023⑮ In addition to the regular products, the brewery was also selling a quantity of the products by weight, which were available for tasting, so I tried some of them. I tasted the following Junmai directly harvested raw sake Daiginjo directly harvested raw sake Both of them are more gorgeous than the regular Fukuju, but I felt they were lacking something. I probably met up with Mr. Pyonpyon around this time.

HYOGO SAKE EXPO 2023⑭ Okada Honke. They did not open a booth as a brewery, but only had a booth in the "Ring" series. A little disappointing... The "ring" series is an SDGs sake. (Please Google for details). It is a project by a farmer, a sake brewery, and the Kobe Shimbun, and is sold by Fukuju, Fukyu-Nishiki, Banshu-Ichiken, Shirasagi-no Shiro, Morinori, and Ozeki. I remember that all of the "Ring" series were delicious. I thought it tasted modern or a little different from each brewery's regular products.

HYOGO SAKE EXPO 2023⑬ My personal favorite, Hamafukutsuru. I don't think he was here last year 🤔. It was sold out and the tasting was limited. I tasted Kukura Junmai Daiginjo Aizan 45 Kukura Junmai Daiginjo Omachi 45 (no photo) Nanatsubai Namaishime Aizan Junmai Nama-nihonjyu This is the first time I've had this series from Kukura. I think I prefer Omachi to Aizan. Nanatsubai tastes just as I imagined, or rather, it tastes robust and drinkable. It's also good value for money. I wanted to try Yamada-Nishiki, but the store was in a closed mood, so I left. I can buy Hamafukutsuru sake anytime I want.

HYOGO SAKE EXPO 2023⑫ Kouzutsuru is often seen in Hyogo. They also sell packaged sake at Yamaya, and are considered a major manufacturer in the northern part of Hyogo. I've had a lot of their sake before, so I'll just leave it at that... I tasted the following Yamahai 25°BLACK Yamahai Daiginjo The BLACK recommended by Nemuchi-san is 25°, so it is treated as a miscellaneous sake, but it was rich and tasty. I didn't feel the high alcohol content, so it's a dangerous one. If I see it again, I may buy it. The Daiginjo is a Yamahai, but it has a gorgeous and beautiful taste. The Hikokikumo I had a while ago was also delicious and I wanted to revise my impression of Kasumitsuru 🤔.

HYOGO SAKE EXPO 202311 Takezumi is a brand often seen at liquor stores in the neighborhood. Some products were already out of stock, so the shelves were cleared 😅. We tasted the following Junmai Ginjo Omachi Hi Hiyaoroshi Junmai sake 2017BY Junmai Daiginjo Sachi no Shima Junmai Daiginjo Kounoshima The hiyaoroshi was easier to drink than expected. I thought it would have a sense of maturity, but there was none. However, it is said to be aged for 2 years. The junmai sake was sold out, but I was allowed to taste it. It is 6 years old and has a strong sense of maturity. It was just like I imagined Takezumi to be. The two Junmai Daiginjos were not gorgeous and had a more mature taste of a food sake type. The recommendation is full of Hyogo sake, but the number of ★ has increased even more 🤣.

HYOGO SAKE EXPO 202310 It has been a long time since I last visited here. The brewer said that the liquor store where he bought it was not a distributor. I wonder if it was through a wholesaler? I heard that there are only a few distributors on the Sea of Japan side. I guess Haretoke in Osaka is a valuable distributor. We tasted the following Tajima Junmai Special Junmai Tajima Yamadanishiki Tajima Daiginjo Gokujo Junmai Ginjo Kakoya "Ya Tajima Junmai was recommended by Nemuchi. It was gorgeous and sweet, and I thought it would be good to buy. Kakoya is the most fruity and aromatic. I asked him if it was 1801 yeast, and he was surprised, but it seems to be a home-cultivated yeast based on 1801. The Daiginjo had a perfect taste. I asked the owner to put it on the table with Tajima's Junmai sake Haretoke. The owner doesn't seem to like gorgeous sake, so I'm not sure if he'll put it there 😅.

It has a sweet taste but is very robust. Personally, I enjoyed the yeast additive-free version. Rinbi was easier to drink than I expected. The sake they brought was generally classic.... I think the products for distributors are more modern.

HYOGO SAKE EXPO 2023⑦ Shugetsu is a sake that I ordered and drank in the past. Recently, a special distributor has been set up and they have started coming to Kobe Hankyu for tasting and sales, so it has become easier to buy than before. I tasted the following Special Junmai Hiyoroshi Tsuki no Himuro Nama-zake Cold Enclosure Junmai Namaisake The hiyaoroshi was easy to drink without any sense of aging. I don't mean to be rude, but I was surprised at how easy it was to drink. The brewer asked me if I would like to try the Junmai Nama. I was surprised at how delicious it was! I was surprised at how delicious it was! The acidity was impressive. I think it might be my favorite sake from Shudzuki. Sorry I didn't buy it. HYOGO SAKE EXPO 2023⑥ This is the first Homenari I have had since I bought it at Yamaya about 4 years ago. I tasted the following Inakazake Junmai Ginjyo Unfiltered Nama-genshu Junmai Ginjyo Unfinished Nama-zake Junmai Ginjo Hiyahoroshi Kijoshu (noble brewed sake) The Junmai Ginjo and Junmai Nama are both gassy and more modern than the labels suggest. The Junmai Ginjo is more acidic, which I prefer. The hiyaoroshi is a hiyaoroshi version of the junmai ginjo nama-zake. It is the same sake but has a completely different atmosphere. I was a little bothered by the smell of the kijoshu... I bought the Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama Sake, which made a good impression on me. I forgot to try the sake with Mozart music 🎵.

HYOGO SAKE EXPO 2023④. Unlike the Takashi Maya Sake Festival, Tanaka Sake Brewery had a serious lineup of a wide range of high-end sake. They did not bring their famous sword Masamune this time 😥. The sake we tasted were Rare Generation Special Junmai Nama (not pictured) Daiginjo bag-hanging nama-shu Junmai Ginjo Nama Sake Junmai Daiginjo Enyui Junmai Daiginjo Enyui I've visited this place twice, and the second time the Governor of Hyogo Prefecture was here, so I got caught up in the hustle and bustle and tasted the same expensive one the Governor was drinking 😁. The Daiginjo Fukuro-hozuri was fruity, without any alkaloids, and extremely tasty. The Daiginjo Fukurohuri is usually fire-aged, but for this event, they served it as Fukurohuri Nama-zake. Hankyu asked them to price it at 5,000 yen, but they brought it at 3,980 yen because they were serving it at this price in their hometown. Enyui is made with 20% polished rice! I had heard rumors about it but never thought I could drink it. The ring is an SDGs-style sake that is cyclical. It is a joint project between sake breweries, rice farmers, and the Kobe Shimbun, and more and more breweries are joining the project every year. I think it was an easy-drinking sake. Rare Generation is a Tenbin pressed sake. This was the one I was looking for this time, so I bought it without hesitation.

HYOGO SAKE EXPO 2023③. Eigashima Sake Brewery is now more famous for its whiskey. I heard that the brewery is located near a train station, so I would like to visit one of these days. I tasted the following Junmai Ginjo Yamadanishiki Nakadori Junmai Mizuhashiworks Type2 Junmai Daiginjo (no photo) Daiginjo 35 They didn't bring the Japanese soul, which is a very strong sake only available at the distributors 😅. Nakadori is fruity but not enough for me? The mizu-hashiroshi brewing type 2 is a lighter version of mizu-hashiroshi because the regular mizu-hashiroshi is too strong. It is not like mizu-hashiroshi and easy to drink, but maybe not enough? The brewer explained in detail the difference between Type 2 and the regular version. I bought and drank the regular version in the past, but I couldn't drink it because it was too aged 💦. After joining Mr. Nemuchi and Mr. PyonPyon, I revisited the Daiginjo and tasted it again, but it was gorgeous and delicious. Someone was talking about Nippon Soul, so I asked if they had it at Haretoke or Daimune. The brewery said that only the strongest liquor stores carry it 🤣. The customer beside me reacted like "Ohmune" (lol). Right after drinking Nihonshin, the recommendation list was full of Ehime sake 🤣. I didn't know about all these breweries!

The Special Honjozo to Special Junmai are classic and spicy. If I had to buy it for the price, I would probably go for the special honjozo sake. I think so, but... Daiginjo-genshu and junmai-daiginjo-genshu are beautiful and gorgeous. Well, I think that the raw sake I bought at a brewery on the Okura Coast before was also a classic type of sake.
