I've been skipping posting for a week or so, and it's piled up😅.
So let's go back to 3/18 first
Whenever I come to Chiba, I always stop by Sake no Oikawa! I know they have a large selection and also have some Tobiraman 😊.
I saw kino.'s post and since I had just decided to go to Chiba, I went to Oikawa first thing! ‼️ Did you come to see your father or did you come to see the sake at Oikawa 🤣?
In the evening, my sister and daughter joined us and we started to have a party!
We opened the bottle of sake that we had just bought 😠 without any spurts🚀 🤗.
My sister and daughter, who don't usually drink sake 🍶, could enjoy it too! We all enjoyed it together!
It has a slight gasiness and a spreading sweetness 😋 with a slight acidity and a hint of bitterness that makes it easy to drink and gobble up...yummy ‼️
We drank almost all of it together, and this one was a no-brainer 😋.
I wish I had drunk it in a Riedel glass though😅.

Kouko-san, my favorite Japanese sake 🍶 that I stocked up on when I was in Chiba ❗️ was chosen to start Sunday's game against Australia 🇦🇺 🤗.
Junmai Daiginjo, made to evoke the freshness of spring and the meeting of the gods! Perfect for a starter!
Oh, the fruity aroma! I guess it's apple!
It has a fresh taste with a soft sweetness and a slight carbonation 😋 It is well-balanced and Kouji is delicious!
As usual, we started warming up before the game and since there is a limit to the number of drinks 😆 we had to savor it a little bit at a time.
I was careful to drink a little more than I should have 😅.
But you know - it was a bit awkward to open a new one day after day 🥲 so Director J&N had to try to figure out if this was the place to leave it to the veteran tea 🍵 or not 🤔.
No, but wait! At a time like this, there is a bottle of sake in the bullpen (small refrigerator) on the second floor that can be used as a one-point pitcher or a long reliever 😁.
Well, it was a weekend when I realized how dependable and grateful I am 🥹 I'll let you know what I drank later!

I've been curious about this brand for a while now, it's my first Kamikawa Taisetsu!
Kemppi-san wrote that it tastes like first love after a long time 🥹, so I had to taste it 😁, so I got it: ❗️
I thought it would be a refreshing type of drink, but it's quite sweet! It has a pineapple-like sweetness and a soft alu feeling: ☺️
This is the taste of first love 🥹.
The second photo is the result of our liquor store visit last weekend 👍 There were only about 5 bottles in the middle of our fridge and I sighed 😮💨 every time I opened it, but now we have 7 more bottles of No. 4 and the fridge is almost full again🤗.
We are both relieved at the view 😊.
And in the middle of the picture is the first bottle we bought at the second house 👍We had accumulated some points, so we brought Jikin, which we know is delicious 🎉.
Now I can drink it anytime I want, so that's a relief for a while!

We went into Sake no Oikawa's refrigerated room and looked at it from one end to the other, and as it was getting cold, I looked at the label on the bottle and saw that it said "White Koji & Malic Acid" 😳.
I thought 🤩 This is my absolute favorite J&N ‼️ and picked it up without hesitation 👍
Now, let's open the bottle to see what it's like!
Yeah, the good aroma and sweetness of my favorite malic acid, combined with the freshness of the citric acid from the white malted rice, makes it sweet and sour 😋 Yeah meh 😍!

Last weekend I went to Ichikawa City in Chiba Prefecture, where my father lives, and I had some free time, so I walked about 20 minutes to the nearby Sake no Oikawa to do some shopping! I had to buy some Chiba sake!
I got this and Fudo, which I had never seen before, and brought them back home 😊.
I had never heard of Narumi, but I picked it up because it looked so nice!
The first day I had it cold 😊 Yeah! It's a very calm sake with beautiful acidity and just the right amount of umami 😌 This is delicious!
I thought it would go well with heated sake too, so that's where Nobey Yokocho comes in! The rest of the sake was served heated!
Yes! No doubt Nobby prefers it heated ✨.
