Takashimaya Sake Festival (11)
KINMI Sake by Sake Cheering Group (2)
NOTO (Kazuma Sake Brewery, Ishikawa)
NAGAOKA (Hasegawa Sake Brewery, Niigata)
AGEO (Kitanishi Sake Brewery Saitama)
KAMOGATA (Marumoto Sake Brewery, Okayama)
KUNISAKI (Kayashima Sake Brewery, Oita)
We tasted
KUNISAKI Junmai Unfiltered Nama Sake
The usual brand name is Nishi no Seki. I have the impression that they usually make classic sake.
This one is also fruity and delicious 😋.
We drank Nemuchi's recommendations one after the other as the event was about to end, so I don't know all the details 🤣.
Takashimaya Sake Festival 10
LAGOON BREWERY is a so-called craft saké.
We tasted
Shozora - Naturally grown Kamenoo San San Sumi Sake
Shozora Amber SAKE Margherita
Shozora Mori no SAKE ~Kuromoji Doburoku~ (no photo)
San San Sumi Sake is made from rice malt only. It is sweet, juicy, and extremely delicious!
Margherita is a sake made with tomatoes and basil.
It is sour and Italian. It has a great sourness as if you were drinking tomatoes. I'm not a big fan of tomatoes, so I don't think I'll ever buy them myself 😅.
I forgot to take a picture of it, but the dofuroku was delicious.
The San San Sumi Sake was so good that I apologized to the brewer for not going through with it even though he was at Asano Sake Shop too 🤣.
I bought a 300ml bottle of Sansan Sumi Sake here.

Yamaguchi Prefecture and Yamaguchi Bank have been preparing for the establishment of a regional trading company led by Yamaguchi Bank as a new initiative for regional development based on a joint concept, in which the private sector will market prefectural products outside the region, such as in the Tokyo metropolitan area. As part of these efforts, a regional trading company wholly owned by the private sector, "Regional Trading Company Yamaguchi Co.
According to the person in charge, the company handles not only sake but also various other prefectural products.
We tasted the following
Gohashi Junmai Ginjo G#
Yamada-Nishiki, low al dryness, made with a raw yeast yeast.
Hmmm, much drier than the usual Gobashi?
Classic impression...

The sake we tasted was
Junmai Daiginjo Goddess Autumn Poem
It was juicier and sweeter than the usual Toyo Bijin.
I think it might be my favorite Toyo Bijin I've ever tasted.
I gave up this one too due to refrigerator problems 😭
I was told before that Toyo Bijin's local label? I was told that it was a regional trading company Yamaguchi 😅 no deep meaning 🙏💦.
I really hope they will put it in Kyoto too 😊.
Good evening, bouken 😀
This sake was really delicious 😋.
What is a regional trading company Yamaguchi? I was wondering what is a regional trading company Yamaguchi, but I'm learning a lot 😀 Thanks for telling me 😄.
Good morning, bouken-san ☀☀☀ Sumikawa sake brewery's sake is delicious ❗If you visit too many tasting booths, you'll be in trouble because you'll be too busy 😅.
Hi Nemuchi 😃
I regret not buying this sake and the bamboo grove you bought 😅.
I don't know if it's the magic of tasting sake, but sometimes when I drink it at home, it's like, "What the heck? I'm telling myself that it's ok 💦.
Takashimaya Sake Festival 8
San-in Sake Breweries (3)
Four breweries jointly opened a stall under the name of Sanin no Kura.
Fukura Shuzo (Yurihama Town, Tottori Prefecture)
Kunitake Shuzo (Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture)
Nakai Shuzo (Kurayoshi City, Tottori Prefecture)
Uida Honten (Masuda City, Shimane Prefecture)
Yashio is a simple label. According to Nemuchi's information, it used to be labeled with Nishijin brocade.
We tasted
Yashio Daiginjo
Hmmm... I would say it lacks individuality...
I think it is not so different from daiginjos sold in supermarkets 🤔I thought it is not a product to be brought to department stores.
An old man beside Mr. Nemuchi was taking advantage of the sake we were served and was asking for more of the same 🤣.

San-in Kura (2)
Four breweries jointly opened a stall under the name of Sanin no Kura.
Fukura Shuzo (Yurihama Town, Tottori Prefecture)
Kunitake Shuzo (Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture)
Nakai Shuzo (Kurayoshi City, Tottori Prefecture)
Uida Honten (Masuda City, Shimane Prefecture)
Next is Kunitake with Nishijin brocade label.
We tasted
Kunitaki BEIGE Junmai Daiginjo
Kunitaki BLACK Daiginjo
Kunitake DARK RED Junmai Daiginjo
Compared to Hoshitori, there were many that had a sense of body and were more to my liking. I bought BEIGE because I had a good impression of the taste for the price, but when I drank it at home later, my impression was...🤔.
Before stopping by this booth, I tasted and bought Marmouth Yonezuru Blue at Yonezuru. The pressure was great when I drank Nemuchi's 🤣I had a short conversation with the sales person and left.
Good evening, bouken-san. I see, I wanted one too because of the impressive taste for the price, but it's a difficult one 😓bouken, please share the rest with me, what the heck💦.
bouken-san, here too 😁 leaving aside the Sanin brewery...I really wanted you to drink the blue Malmouth Yonezuru, sorry for being so pushy at the end 💦 please let the salesman know if he comes to your familiar liquor store again 😁.
Hi Hirupeko 😃
The taste is not bad but the hint of aroma is just not for me 😥It's hard to evaluate because the impression changes quite a bit depending on the temperature range and pairing 💦We still have some left, would you like to come and get it? 😁
Good morning, Nemuchi-san ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀☀.
I see you have a Sanin brewery 🤣 I drank some and it was so good I had to buy some.
I drank it and it was unexpectedly delicious, so I bought it 😋 The sake tasting at my neighborhood liquor store is unpopular, so you can have a gut chat with them 🤣.

Fukura Shuzo (Yurihama Town, Tottori Prefecture)
Kunitake Shuzo (Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture)
Nakai Shuzo (Kurayoshi City, Tottori Prefecture)
Uida Honten (Masuda City, Shimane Prefecture)
Ugeta Honten's Somi was only available for tasting with a ticket due to the high price of the sake they brought.
We started with Hoshitori from Fukura Shuzo.
Of the 4 Hoshitori varieties, the ones we tasted were
Hoshitori GREEN STAR Junmai Daiginjo
Hoshitori BLUE STAR Junmai Daiginjo
Hmmm, neither of them had much impact, did they?
They didn't leave much of an impression...
Hi Hissan, Hello ☀☀☀☀☀☀☀.
I'm sure it's not bad, but I don't think there's anything shining... I felt there is not much difference in the taste of each product despite the different price 😅.
Takashimaya Sake Festival (7)
Nemuchi-san said he had already been around the festival and asked me if there was anywhere he wanted to see. So we went to Kenrishi.
We couldn't sample the Junmai spec Zuiho Kuromatsu Kenritsu Kenritsu and Zuisho Kuromatsu Kenritsu because they were out of stock.... I wanted to try the Mizuho, but they were out of stock.
We tasted
Gokujo Kuromatsu Kenrishi
Kuromatsu Kenrishi
I've had Kyokagami in the past, but it's like a graceful, high-quality aged sake. It's not unpleasantly aged, but it's beautiful.
Kuromatsu Kenrishi is sold in supermarkets and is the most common product, but honestly, it tastes so satisfying that I think it's enough. I think it's great that this is available in supermarkets.
Thanks to Mr. Kenrishi for keeping Aizan alive and well 🙏.
Mr. Bouken.
Good evening.
Kuromatsu Kenrishi is the origin of sake for me, not Kubota, Urakasumi, Kikusui, Masumi or Hakkaisan, but Kenrishi!
As you say, I am happy to be able to buy this sake at the supermarket all the time.
Good evening, bouken🌛I have tasted Zuiho and Zuisho a long time ago 😋I remember being surprised by their maturity and long-aged old sake feel 😁I can taste a little bit of old sake now that I have a palate for it, I will try again👍
Good evening, Ponchan 😃
Well, you visited Nada Gogo Sake Shop 😊.
They have some rare Nada sake, so it will be interesting 😆.
I think it's great that you can buy sake anywhere and it tastes so good 🤗.
Good evening, Mr. Kozou.
As a resident of Hyogo Prefecture, I'm glad to hear you say that Kembishi is the origin of sake 🤗I somehow feel relieved when I see the Kembishi label in the supermarket 😌.
Nemuchi, good evening 😃
I see you drank both in the past 😳I had an image that you don't drink this kind of sake.... I'm sorry 😅I'm not a fan of old sake either, but I think Kenrishi is one of the easier ones to drink 😊.
Good morning.
I didn't have it this time, but I buy a bottle of Nada's fresh one at this event every time!
The person from Kenrishi said that there are still many parts of old sake that we don't know about, but it's very stable!
Hello Shinsho 😃
I bought a bottle of Nada no Nama Nama Ippon in the past but I thought it was too early for me lol.
I guess the secret of their stability is that they blend multiple old sake to keep the same taste 🤔.
Takashimaya Sake Festival (6)
Hakuryu, which I often see but have never had before.
I tasted the following
Hakuryu Special Junmai
Hakuryu Junmai Ginjo Dragon Water (no photo)
Hakuryu Junmai Daiginjo
Hakuryu Experiment Brewing No.13
The special junmai was hi-seasoned but still a little fresh and dry, but it was delicious with a hint of sweetness.
I also like Jun Dai because it has a gorgeous fruity taste.
There were several kinds of test brews, and No. 13 looked sweet, so I tasted it. I think they said it was made for Hong Kong?
It was my favorite type with sweet flavor, but the price was 😅.
The lady who served me the drinks was a little salty. Maybe she wanted to leave early?
She was explaining to Nemuchi about the products with a person from Kamikawa Taisetsu, who was supporting another brewery.
I bought a bottle of special junmai nama sake at another store later.
Takashimaya Sake Festival (5)
This is a charity sake to support contract farmers who suffered from landslides caused by torrential rains in June, and a portion of the proceeds from the sales will be used for reconstruction.
Bodhi yeast with a rice polishing ratio of 22%.
It has a strong sweetness, light but strong flavor, and a little bitterness at the end.
It was very tasty, but we gave it up in tears because we bought a lot of sake at the Hankyu Brewer's Festival...
Takashimaya Sake Festival (4)
Marumoto Sake Brewery in Okayama.
This brewery is also recommended by Muchi-san.
The sake we tasted was
catharsis Junmai Daiginjo Unfiltered Nama-shu
Fukamari Shatoro Junmai Ginjo Unfiltered Nama-shu
Junmai Daiginjo Karoyaka
2 kinds of amazake (not pictured)
The catharsis is so fresh that it is hard to believe it is fire-aged.
It is sweet and juicy, like a raw sake. I regret not buying it 😭.
Takebayashi Fukamari Shatoro tastes like it hasn't been aged for more than a year. It is supposed to be dry, but it doesn't seem that dry.
Karoyaka also tasted gorgeous.
The dry sake was also generally fruity.
Both types of amazake were also delicious.
Tasted like Pocari Sweat.
Pon-chan, good evening 🌃
Okayama may have a lot of hidden good sake 😃.
Amazake is so called "drinking IV", so is there something similar to spodum type of sake? 🤔
Takashimaya Sake Festival (3)
Nemuchi-san wanted us to visit the Murashige Sake Brewery because he wanted us to try their sake. Nemuji-san is a perverted sake fanatic who wants us to drink it because it has a strong taste.
Since the loss of Kusaka Musou, we have rarely seen this sake brewery. When I drank it at a tasting at Takashimaya before, it was a time when the Kusaka Toji had moved to a new company and brought the rest of Kusaka Musou and Kinkan Kuromatsu.
The wines we tasted were
MURASHIGE Junmai Genmoku Dry
MURASHIGE Junmai Konjun Dry
MURASHIGE Junmai Kyokusen Dry Mouth
Maybe there is one more type of sake?
All Murashige's are made with 80% polished rice and No. 8 yeast.
They all claim to be dry, but they all have a strong acidity. Dry? I have the impression that they are all dry. Isn't it too hard to sell this as dry?
The sake level is said to be about +4, so it's too subtle to be called dry....
They said they might not make it next year because it won't sell well. I think it's not enough for the dry sake drinkers and the label is plain and unattractive 🤔.
Personally, all of them are delicious with good acidity, so I decided to buy one of them.
The Kyokusen was delicious for its high price, but I was surprised to hear that it too had 70% stars 😳.
The talk by the brewer was also interesting 😁.
Good morning Mr. Lan 😃.
I'm in a hurry as I'm accumulating posts 😅.
I think I've pushed all my past posts, so I don't think I'll have any more streaks 😁.
Takashimaya Sake Festival (2)
Disappointed that there was no tasting of sake made with Lacancea yeast collected from the Chine Muscat grape...
The sake we tasted was
Junmai Ginjo Sakura Saki
Junmai Ginjo Nakadare
Sakurazaki is a sake made with Lacancea yeast from Someiyoshino cherry trees.
Well, it was like a wine yeast sake.
Nakadare is not one of the hottest Tottori sake, but it is crisp and dry. It had a slight hackneyed flavor.
Takashimaya Sake Festival ①.
This is the first time in four years that the festival has been held, and this will be my first time attending.
I visited once on Saturday afternoon, but got fed up with so many people that I left without buying or drinking anything. And I had a hair salon appointment coming up💦.
It seems that Rutemi, Masha, and Hirupeko were somewhere in the venue at this time.
I was wondering whether I should head back to the venue after finishing my business, when I heard that Nemuchi-san had arrived, so I decided to join the event.
I found her at the Nihonbashi booth!
We met up 😁.
I tasted
Junmai Daiginjo Hyoketsu Nama Sake
Junmai freshly pressed sake
Edo no Banquet
The woman who served us was probably the toji (master brewer).
I have tasted Junmai Daiginjo Nama Sake in the past, and it is still delicious. It is gorgeous and slightly sweet.
I have tasted the freshly pressed sake at home in the past, but I liked it because it was easier to drink than the raw sake.
Edo no Banquet is a sake made with Edo yeast. It tastes like it has been aged. The toji says that it is not aged. It is a heated sake type?
I got a novelty gift, but sorry I didn't buy anything 🥺.
Sake degree -67. Sake made with peach yeast.
It has a rosé-like flavor and is quite sweet. It also has a good amount of acidity, and I think it is one of my favorites among the peach-colored types. There were also sakes made with cherry yeast, wine yeast, and muscatel yeast in the same bottle. If you drink only the supernatant, it really tastes like rosé.
Someone once said that Tottori sake is dry, but this one is sweet.
It would have been interesting if it was an active nigori.
I think you can buy it at the Takashimaya Sake Festival starting today.
kino. hi 😃
I see you remember 😅It's okay to forget 🤣If this had an acidity of 10 or so, it would seriously melt my teeth 😱 I think I had such a weird spec in autumn deer 🤔.
This is the first time for me to drink Hoshimatsuri.
It has a sweet aroma on the nose. When you drink it, it is gorgeous and sweet, but not too sweet and relatively dry.
It has a strong apple flavor.
The fact that it is not sweet may be due to its summery nature.
When drunk in tandem with Takeyuki, this one seems a bit lacking....
On the way back from GW Nara, I stopped by Takashimaya and bought it along with Nagurayama.
It has a gaseous feeling with a hint of a whiff of gas. It has a sweet aroma and a rich berry-like sweet flavor. I like it very much among all the Eiko-Fuji I have had so far.
The berry sweetness gives it a very modern feel for a moment, but the bitterness at the end is what makes it different.
This is the royal road taste of Eikoufuji.
I feel like I can find Eikoufuji at Takashimaya these days.
Good evening, bouken-san! I didn't know that you can buy Eiko Fuji at Takashimaya 😳I like it, but it's too bad I don't see it very often, so that helps 😄I'll take a peek next time!
Hi Aladdin, good evening 😊
I went a few times between March and May and some days there were multiple varieties lined up 😊 and when there weren't, they didn't have any at all, so I'm sorry if you didn't go there 🙏.
Good evening, T.KISO 😃.
It's a sweet and tasty sake, but not heavy and you don't get tired of drinking it 😋By the way, I don't smoke, but I'm a Setta man 😆.
Slightly fizzy and fruity. Sweeter than expected.
I like this a lot. Fruity, sweet and tasty, with a trace of bitterness.
You can't go wrong with Nagurayama no matter what you drink.
I think it might be my favorite among all the Nagurayama I've had so far.
After 2 days, the gas is still there, but the bitterness seems to have increased.
Purchased at Takashimaya in Namba. If I check Takashimaya every week, can I get a lot of Eiko-Fuji?
It is fresh and fruity with a slight effervescence. It's sweet, but has a nice sharpness and a strong sake taste. I think it hits the perfect line.
I don't think it is that sweet and gorgeous type of Eiko-Fuji.
Good morning, bouken: ☀️
I wonder if it's because it's brewed with edible rice.
I was wondering whether I should buy it yesterday, but I decided to buy another one.
Hi T.KISO 😃
I was wondering if the milling ratio has something to do with it since Eiko-Fuji uses other edible rice? I was wondering 🤔The rice is junmai spec, which is rare for Eiko-Fuji 😁.
Good evening, Mr. Lutertemi 😊.
I see you are waiting for your turn 😁I had the impression that you are on the edge of the line between Eikofuji-ness and sake-ness 🤔.
I know that's a crude explanation 🤣.
Sake made with Hazhu Honor.
At Takashimaya, there were three kinds of sake on the shelf, including Jukinmu and Akaban Omachi, so I chose this one.
It is sweet and fruity, but as the label on the back says, it has a refreshing feeling. It is gorgeous but not showy. Fine gas feeling.
