The 7th Takashimaya Sake Festival (3)
I drank it because it was a sake rice I didn't know.
I drank
Daisen Shirakiku Junmai Shirakiku Rice
It's from the Omachi lineage, so it has a little Omachi-ness to it.
It has a rich umami taste, which I like a lot.
Daisen Shirakiku Junmai Yumachi-70
A little sourness. As the brewer said, it is also good warmed up.
Daisen Shirakiku Junmai Shuzo Nishiki
It is said to be read as "Miki-nishiki. They said they found this rice in the process of searching for Shirakiku rice.
It is difficult to describe. I felt it was a little too refreshing, but I was told it was because of the order in which I drank it 🤣.
The 7th Takashimaya Sake Festival (2)
Next is Tanaka Sake Brewery
At first, we were served by the waitress, but in the second half, we had a short talk with the proprietress.
I was told by Mr. Umaumai to go talk to the proprietress! I was also told to go and talk to the proprietress 😁.
What we drank was
Shirasagi-no Shiro Junmai Ginjo Kiyoshi Oroshi
I regretted not buying this at the same event last year.
I asked if it was a draft sake because it was marked as needing to be refrigerated, and they said it was once-hot. I asked if it was a fresh sake, and was told that it had been fire-aged once. It is delicious with a gentle sweetness. It is sweeter than the regular Kajiroku. I forgot to take a picture of it but I bought it 😅I will post the picture later 🤣.
Kame-no-o Junmai Ginjo Gogo
Polishing ratio of Kame-no-o is 55
Kame-no-o offers a variety of different rice polishing ratios, and they also had a 9% polished rice ratio. The price was 33,000 yen 😳.
It was a delicious sake with a strong flavor 😋.
The price was 33,000 yen 😳 Delicious and full of flavor 😋 Shirasagi-no-jo Junmai Daiginjyo Misato Nishiki.
It is rare to find a brewery outside of Akita that uses Miso Nishiki, so I have been curious about this one for a while.
When I asked him why the rice polishing ratio is 47%, he was a little confused 🤔😅After that, he said it might be because 7 is a good number 😁. He said 😁.
It's a clear and beautiful sake. He said he also recommended heating it up.
He said they don't make the same taste every year, they change it depending on the rice and the situation of the year.
Good evening, bouken: ⭐️
Thank you very much for the mission 🤣I hope you had a good time ❓The drinks were great 👍I hope to be there at the Takashimaya store in November 💕.
Good evening, Mr. Umaïsan.
Sorry for the late comment 🙇.
I enjoyed drinking Miso Nishiki and Kame-no-o 😆.
I see you are coming back in November too 😲I wonder if it's time for the freshly squeezed Masamune Meitoh?
The 7th Takashimaya Sake Festival ①.
I always participate in events with Nemuchi, but it's been a long time since I've participated alone, so I was a bit nervous 😅
The venue was small and there were many people, so I thought I wanted to go home, but I found an empty booth and visited it!
I've had Houraisen before, but this was my first time to try Ichinenfudo.
The difference between Houraisen and Ichinenfudo is that they are made in different places and use different water.
I heard that Ichinenfudo has slightly harder water.
Ichinenfudo's rice is all Yumesansui grown by the company.
I drank
Ichinenfudo summer sake
A clear but low alcohol sake.
The slight sweetness gave a good impression.
Ichinenfudo Namaishige Junmai 75
The acidity was impressive and it was chilled, but I felt it would be better at room temperature or warmed up.
Ichinenfudo Junmai Daiginjyo Matured Genshu
Beautifully aged and tasty without any smell 😋.
I forgot to take a picture from the first shot😅
Houraisen Junmai Ginjo Wa Aged Nama Shu
I've had it in the past but I wanted to drink it last 😁.
It's more matured than Ichinenfudo's matured raw sake, but it's delicious with a strong umami flavor 😋.
Hi bouken 🐦.
It's refreshing to see that you and Nemuchi had different breweries for your first drink 😆 I was able to review the different locations and water 🙏.
You must have been nervous 🤣.
Good evening, Ponchan.
I hit the place when it was empty 🤣.
I asked him about the difference between Houraisen and Houraisen and he told me the location and the water is different 😁.
I was a bit nervous about entering a botch 🤣.
Aladdin's drink right after I bought it at Takashimaya.
The label looks like a dongdong😅The color is like a rosé when poured into a glass. It tastes like Umeshu (plum wine) and has no sake-like taste. I like it, but it's very sweet and sour, so I think it's a matter of taste.
If it's just the sourness, I think it meets the requirements for a perverted sake 🤔.
I wonder if it will be released next year?
Sake purchased at Takashimaya where Neemuchi and I stopped by in a tongue-tied state at the end of the Gifu Sake Event😅.
I've been curious about this sake for a while, but I bought it now😅.
Slightly effervescent and petit. It tastes like muscat. Gentle sweetness and koji-like taste.
I think Katanozakura is my favorite Osaka sake.
Until last year, my first choice was Sen no Rikyu, but for various reasons 🙄.
It tastes like melon after a few days of opening it.
I posted offline and forgot to put this 💦.
First time for both Ippongi and Denshin.
I thought I could buy them anytime and I avoided them because of their dry image😅.
The top aroma is like pineapple and tropical fruits. The initial aroma is like pineapple or tropical fruits. The second half is quite spicy though it has fruity and soft sweetness. I wonder if the softness is due to the fact that it is bagged.
I bought it when the brewer came to Takashimaya.
I've never talked to Mr. Nishide because of bad timing every time😅.
The name comes from Moro-chan and Mi-chan (Moromi🐱) that he keeps at the brewery.
The name is derived from Moro and Mi-chan🐱.
Sourness and appleiness. Gentle sweetness. I got the impression that it is a low-alcohol, sweet and sour sake. I'd like to try the light nigori sake that Hirupeko-san was drinking 😋.
I feel it is a sake that is easy to drink and has a unique atmosphere of Shunshin at the same time.
I thought it would be suitable for warming up sake.
If you drink it at room temperature, you'll get more apple flavor, but you'll also get a stronger woody aroma.
bouken, good evening 😸.
This is a great drink for cat lovers. The label is cute😍Cats are not supposed to heat it up in the microwave. I don't do that 🤣.
The flavor looks delicious too 😋.
Good evening, Lutemi!
Nyah, cat people can't go through with it 😽.
Microwaves are dangerous 😾😾.
I thought it was a classic, but it's pretty sweet and tasty 😻
Good evening, bouken. You got Moromi 😻The light nigori raw tasted like a sweet and sour orange 🍊This time I went for the regular sake, the kinky Koshihikari 😹.
Hi Hirupekyan, good evening 🐈⬛
I'm not sure if the raw one is orange or 🍊 but it looks delicious 😻
I tasted some Koshihikari and it was very kinky 😹 Looking forward to your post 😸.
Fruity with a gorgeous aroma. Sweet, juicy and a little bitter at the end. It's really tasty.
I drink Takebayashi more often at events than at home, but I never miss it.
Tochigi love 🥰 since the Chuai drink in March.
Like monthly Tochigi love 🥰?
I thought so, but I also loved Tochigi at Matsuo Taisha event😅.
I think this is the second time this month?
It was bottled in February last year and shipped in September, so it has a light matured aroma. Melon-like sweetness and a bit of minerality. I'd like to try more Matsunotsuju.
The sweetness and light maturity coexist and come together at the same time.
Good evening Jay & Nobby 😃.
I'd like to keep it at least once a month 😌I'd like to drink minor Tochigi sake, so it's difficult if we drink outside 🤔The only ones we have are Senkou and others 😅.
Aiya Festival 2024 Spring 11
The last sake of the Aiya Festival!
EIKO Fuji
Jun-dai
Aiyamatsuri🎵
Jun-dai (Japanese unit of land area equal to 100 mu)
Muroka
Aiyama🎵
Pitchy, gassy, gorgeous, sweet-ish bitter-juicy.
Eiko-Fuji's typical sweet and savory taste and Aizan's taste are well blended.
I think Eiko-Fuji and Aizan are a great match, don't you?
Good evening bouken 🦉.
Thanks for the review of the Aiyama Festival 😊Thanks for all the singing 😁I haven't had that much to drink, but Aiyama seems to go well with the juiciness of Eiko-Fuji 😆👍
Good evening, Ponchan 😃.
Thank you 😆I'll end with this one as there's no point and no end to it if I leave it in between 💦.
I thought Eikoufuji's sake quality and Aizan matched very well 😋.
Tasting at Takashimaya.
Shunshin's brewer always comes to the store, but I never get a chance to talk to him...
Again, I was talking to another customer, and the department store staff took care of me.
I drank the following
HARUGOKORO Another Series Special Junmai Yellow
Slightly sweet and gentle impression. There was also a bottle of this sake, but it seems to have been sold out. A little expensive.
Moromi
This is a sake for Moro-chan and Mi-chan, the cats kept at the brewery.
I bought a packet because it was so cute.
No picture because it's too cute. I heard they have a draft version of this too, so I'd like to try it someday 😽.
Shunshin - Shunshin Nama Hashiroshi Junmai Koshihikari
It has a strong acidity and a unique complex flavor, and is quite peculiar.
It can be served at room temperature or warmed up. It left the biggest impression on me. I think Hirupeko would like it 🤔.
Hi, bouken. As you may have guessed, I am Hirupeko who brought home Koshihikari 😋 Moromi was clear sake this time, and the one I drank in February was light nigori 😸 (and I remember when it was explained to me at the sales counter).
I missed out last year when I went through the trouble 💦.
Just the fact that it's Akaban Omachi raises my expectations 😍.
Sweet and juicy with a hint of berries and a little gas.
It's sweet and juicy with a hint of berries and a little bit of gas! It's a very safe taste.
I'm also interested in Jukinmu, but I wonder if there are any left.
Nemuchi told me that they were sold at Keihan Department Store, but I never get a chance to go to Moriguchi, so I gave up.
It's fruity and tangy. It has a refreshing sweet taste, but it's sweet enough. Toyo Bijin never fails me.
After a few days, the pungency becomes stronger...
Good evening, bouken 😀
Toyo Bijin, my favorite sake from my hometown Yamaguchi prefecture... but I haven't met the goddess yet😅.
I was surprised to hear that Takashimaya has it, I wonder if they still have some left😅.
bouken, good evening 🌛I'm not a hassle for oriental beauties in hiragana takachi-yo ni 😆 even though I know that, the goddess of regional trading company is always through drinking at home due to refrigerator convenience 😅I'll be proactive in drinking this year 🤔.
Good morning Yasbay 😃
It looks like the sales channel is different from the normal oriental beauty 😊.
I hope there are some left because I bought it around Christmas time 🤔.
Good morning Nemuchi 😊
Thanks for the info 🙏
I almost missed it 😅
I'm sure you won't go wrong with the taste, so please be proactive and try it this year 🤗.
Fruity and mellow flavor.
It is like a pear.
Good balance of modern sweet and umami and sake-like taste.
It is sweet enough, but Eiko-Fuji seems spicier when drunk with Fukuwagura.
The muscat-like aroma is a nice touch.
Good evening, bouken-san. ⭐︎
I was also curious about this one since Wakata-san drank it last year, so I bought it this year 💡.
It's my first time drinking Glorious Fuji at home, so I'm looking forward to drinking it after reading bou's review✨.
Good evening, Mr. Yoohee 😃.
I think it's a modest one among Eiko-Fuji, but compared to the others, it's fruity, sweet and tasty, so I think it's a definite one 😊.
Alchemist = alchemist.
Alchemist reminds me of Fullmetal Alchemist 🤖.
I remember Lark and Aztecs 🎵
Oh, I miss Melissa too 🤔.
By the way, I don't watch any manga or anime 🙄.
I just like the songs 🫣.
The rice used is Yamadanishiki from Hyogo Prefecture.
The top aroma is mild. There is a very small amount of gas. In the mouth, it is sweet and sweet-tasting with a slight bitterness. It has a calm but not too flashy and elegant taste. Although it is a Eiko-Fuji, I think it will be accepted by dry drinkers as well.
The degree of sweetness may vary from tank to tank.
It's too delicious and manna dusted 🤪.
This is one I would like to try!
Steel Ren is interesting! It's easy to get to know the anime, so why don't you watch a little bit of it? I recommend it!
Purchased at the Takashimaya Sake Festival.
So-called "craft saké" sake. The only ingredient is rice malt.
It is sweet and sour with white malted rice. It is sweet and sour, but it has a fruity taste and I like it better than other sakes made with white malted rice.
Purchased at the Takashimaya Sake Festival.
Polishing ratio 80%, No. 8 yeast used.
It has a slightly golden color when poured.
It claims to be dry, but the acidity is so strong that it makes you wonder if it is dry or not. It is dark and has a strong acidity. It is dark and has a strong acidity.
The acidity seems to come from the yeast.
People who like sweet sake would probably avoid it just because it says "dry.
I think it would be better to sell it in a way that appeals to the acidity rather than the dryness.
Personally, I like this sake, but I think it's difficult to sell. The brewer also said so 😅Maybe they won't make it next year? I think it's better to sell it with more acidity than dryness.
Purchased at the Takashimaya Sake Festival. Nemuchi-san's recommendation.
It has a rich sweet taste like honey. The second half is a bit spicy. It is sweet at the entrance, but not too sweet in total.
I also feel a little minerality.
I prefer it to the Malmouth Yonezuru Midori I drank in the past.
I didn't feel it when I drank it at the tasting, but there are glimpses of maturity. I wonder if it is an individual difference or if it has been aged in the refrigerator at home.
After a few days, I got used to the taste or the taste has settled down and I don't care about the maturity 🤔.
After drinking this after Hakuryu, I feel it is quite sweet and tasty!
Purchased at the Takashimaya Sake Festival.
The one that impressed me the most after tasting several kinds of Kunihiki. It is sweet and fruity. It has a sourness like citrus. It is low in alcohol but very drinkable.
However, I personally don't like the top flavor. I can't explain it well, but it smells sweet? I can't explain it well, but it smells like a sweet smell.
After drinking it, it tastes fine, but I don't like the aroma when I put it close to my nose.
It's difficult to describe...
It might be quite tasty with meat as it says on the back 🤔.
Takashimaya Sake Festival ⑫
The last stop was Tanaka Sake Brewery.
I came by the booth once, but it was crowded, so I slipped in just before the end of the festival.
I really wanted Nemuchi to have some garden sake... 😁.
The sake we tasted was
Shirasagi-no Shiro Garden Sake, Nama Hashiroshi (no picture)
Shirasagi no Shiro Junmai Ginjo Ki-en
Shirasagi no Shiro Junmai Ginjo Kiyori Hiyoroshi
The garden sake is acidic but well-balanced and easy to drink.
It is the easiest to drink among the garden sake. I didn't take a picture of it because I drank it at home in the past.
Chushingura and Banshu Issen garden sake are Ranshu 🤣.
Karoku is a sake made from a rare rice called Nojoho.
I believe it was tenbin pressed.
I've had Karoku in the past, and it has a unique flavor that I find addictive. Personally, I prefer hiyaoroshi (cold brewed sake) because of its gentle sweetness.
That's all for the 12 breweries I visited in about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
I stayed there for 3 hours.
bouken, here too 😊The garden wine from Egret's Castle was delicious 😋I was suddenly curious about the other weirdo garden wine 🤣Thank you for your time 🙇I'm sorry for dragging you into this 🙏😅.
Good evening, Nemuchi 😃.
Garden sake, I heard that Chushingura is usually fire-brewed, so maybe the raw one I drank just happened to be perverted 🤔.
Banshu Issen is a real orchid sake 🤣.
Please let me keep you company 🙏🤣.
bouken, good job on completing your Takashimaya post after Hankyu 😊👍.
12 breweries in that time 😳‼️Nemuchi and you two are still awesome when you get serious 😆.
I like Banshu Issen, so I'd like to know what run sake tastes like, even though I'm scared 🤣!
