Purchased at the directly-managed store Okina-ya, Fushimi, Japan on 9/20. A faucet protrudes from a quaint earthen wall and is filled by a shopkeeper. The aroma is a little sour. The mouthfeel is clean, crisp, and easy to drink. You can feel the umami of the rice afterwards. The alcohol content is 17%, but it feels lighter on the palate than expected, while still being full of flavor and drinkable!

Kaze no Mori WEEKS at Daimaru in Shinsaibashi at Daimaru in Shinsaibashi, Tokyo Bodai Hashiro sake recommended by acidity. The cork blew out, but we opened it safely... Purchased at Kyogokuya, a sake store in Fushimi Hiyoroshi, a special brand of Joyo Sake Brewery for exclusive use by dealers Sweet and sour aroma like apple Slightly carbonated, with a nose-tingling apple-like sourness and a tingling sensation on the tongue that is quite stimulating. ⚡️ The sweetness is moderate, but you can also taste the rice flavor. The end is sharp, but there is a slight residual astringency. I drink it chilled, but when it gets close to room temperature, it tastes less stimulating, and the sweetness of the rice increases!

Purchased at the Takashimaya Sake Festival Banana label 🍌. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of bananas, but regardless, I tasted it and it was delicious, so I chose it 💧. I don't know if it's the banana aroma because I've been avoiding bananas for more than half of my life... but it has a sweet tropical aroma. A little bit sweet, but not too sweet. It's not too bright, but it has a sweet and sour taste that goes into the nose, and it's refreshing and delicious! I learned a lesson that if you drink without thinking about the label, you may find a favorite that you never thought you'd like!

9/5 Using the last of the Seishun 18 Ticket, went to Nanki and Shingu Ozaki Shuzo, the southernmost brewery in Honshu We also visited Hayatama-taisha, one of the three Kumano mountains. It is served at room temperature with sashimi (🐟)! The aroma is alcoholic and slightly sour. It has a watery mouthfeel and tastes sour and crisp and dry. After swallowing, the umami of rice spreads gradually and this lingering taste is wonderful! It does not disturb the meal and goes especially well with sashimi as it refreshes the palate. It is the best food sake!
