First issue #14 @ 2023 Opened a bottle of sparkling that I bought for today. The dragonfly label is cute😍. Side dish was sauteed chicken and potato salad. The sauteed chicken was a little overcooked 😢. The aroma is subdued. Sparkling nigori, not too sweet. Delicious.

First issue #13 @ 2023 I bought the jacket because of the beautiful blue color and the animals. It's nice and summery. Reasonably priced. I opened a bottle for a drink. The aroma is a bit like cemedine. At first I thought the taste would be refreshing, but then the sweetness and bitterness started to attack me. I thought it might be a little bitter, but I didn't mind it when I drank it slowly because the temperature was higher.

Moon after rain after a long time. One of the brands that got me hooked on sake. It is as versatile as ever. I can taste sweetness, bitterness, and sourness, but it is basically refreshing. It goes with everything. I'll be drinking this one.

Drinks at the home of a junior colleague, which has become a regular event. I bought a bottle of soda-drizzled sake in Okayama a long time ago. The quality of the sake was designed to taste good with soda. I immediately drank it with soda. I can feel the sake even though it's watered down. It tastes good, but my stupid tongue👅 doesn't really know which part is exclusive. Sorry to the toji-san who designed this sake with a lot of effort and thought 🙇.

300 check-in: ❗️ I was approaching a milestone and wanted something special to drink, and this just happened to be on sale 😋. The price was a little higher than the sake I usually buy, but I made an excuse to myself that it was a commemoration and bought it. I was able to celebrate this milestone. I've been working hard this week, so it's not a bad time to reward myself. Okay, let's drink. ❗️ What is this, a lemon sour? No, is it a sour white wine? Hmmm? But it has a refreshing aftertaste and seems to go well with a variety of snacks. Delicious ^_^

First issue #12 @ 2023 Takasago Sake Brewery has been on my mind every time I visit Fujinomiya. I have always wanted to visit there someday, but I had put it off because Takasago is available at the liquor store I usually go to 😩. This time, I had time and room in my fridge, so I decided to drop by. I was wrong. They have a great selection. As expected of a directly managed store 👏. I looked for something I couldn't find anywhere else, and I found a special corner for the directly-managed store! There were several varieties, but I was attracted by the words "back" and "Omachi," so I bought this one. The aroma was subdued, but the taste was sweet and bitter. It is a beautiful sake, as it is called "Daiginjo". I will stop by again as there were some other good ones.

First issue #11 @ 2023 I went to a liquor store that I don't usually go to when camping and found a brand that is not sold at my usual liquor store. It's fun because there are a lot of brands you don't usually see 😄. But I have to decide soon because I have my family waiting 😱. And this is one of the 3 bottles I chose. The bottle is opened. The bottle opened with a pop. The smell of alcohol is a little strong. It has a sweetness at first, but soon it has a bitter taste. There is also a sense of fizz. Today's side dish is chicken on a stick. It goes well with strong flavored sauce.

First issue #10 @ 2023 Today is our first camping trip of the year: ⛺️ Already checked out the liquor store on the way to the campground, which I usually don't. I chose from the brands that are not available at the stores I usually go to. I had reduced the stock in the fridge for this day. This time I bought three bottles. I had some dried fugu (blowfish) in the freezer for snacks. But I forgot to bring a glass for sake... I just used a sierra cup 😩 This is nice and camp-like. As for the taste, first of all, drinking sake outside is 30% more delicious 😋. It has a lactic acidity and sweetness with a fizzy taste.

Koei Chrysanthemum after a long time. I went to a liquor store that I hadn't been to for a while recently for Takachiyo, but they didn't have any good ones, so I bought Koei Kiku. I have an image that it is too sour, but this one is not so sour and is very good. It has acidity, but it's not too pronounced, and there is a sweetness to it that is refreshing. It's orangey 🍊I like it the best of all the Koueikiku I've had so far. However, it doesn't go well with seasoned nori....the smell of the sea comes out on the wrong side. Tofu and cheese go well together.

Test sake from the brewery that was revived this year🍶. It is said to be the family home of Wish's people, i.e., Keiko Kitagawa's in-laws, so that's something to look forward to. Fruity aroma, very gentle sweetness and sourness. This is a delicious one 😋.

Ichi-Oshi's Kaiun. I often drink Kaiun's Junmai, which has great cosmetics, but I didn't know they had nigori. ⁉︎ It is not nigori, but rather a slight nigori, which is more like ogurimi. The taste is stable Kaiun, no doubt. It tastes sweeter than the regular one. It is also good. I tried it with eggplant and tofu lasagna, and it went well with the cheese 😋.

First issue #9 @ 2023 I traveled to Tokushima and Awaji Island in GW. Matsuura Sake Brewery has a direct sales shop with a bar where you can sample their products. I couldn't do the tasting because I had to drive, but it was a spacious and clean store. I often saw Naruto sea bream at other roadside stations besides this one, but I'd rather buy it at a sake brewery anyway. As for the taste, it's the kind you can guzzle with a not-too-strong sweetness and bitterness. I quite like the taste. I should have bought a four-pack.

This is my first time to taste Tasake. I had never encountered this sake before, but I went a little out of my way to buy it. Great expectations 😄. I bought this chutoro sak of southern bluefin tuna when I went back to Shizuoka. Today I'm having a tuna bowl with it. I'm going to eat something extravagant and finally this baby that was in the fridge. It has a refreshing sweetness, and the bitterness follows it. This is so good. I would go out of my way to buy this brand again.

Only 3 more days until GW. No work today 😭 Well, today's side dish is teriyaki yellowtail. Delicious looking yellowtail was cheap over the weekend 🐟. I chose Koyogi, which has a dry image, because I thought it would go well with the stock in the fridge . Unlike the image, it has a sour taste. It's not sweet, and the taste is not strong, so it's not bad to drink with side dishes. This is the last year for Honorifuji, isn't it? I heard they are going to improve the breed next year or something...

First issue. I don't often choose dry sake, but I thought I would buy something that I don't drink often sometimes. As the name "Umakara" suggests, it is dry, but you can taste the umami of the rice. It has umami, but it doesn't get in the way of the meal. Today I had bamboo shoot rice and grilled black hanpen. It was delicious.

Seeing all these newcomers for the first time makes me realize how old I am 😩 Well, I guess getting old is not all bad. I opened the bottle at a BBQ with company members in the garden, which has become a bit of a regular event. It has a sweetness like tropical fruits. The sweetness is a little too rich for me, who prefers a clear, sweet taste. But I wonder if it is better to drink it this rich at a BBQ. I still don't know what marriage is 😱.

This is my first brand. I had never heard of this brand, but I was attracted by the spring-like colorful label. I thought the sweetness was a bit flat and I didn't really like it, but when I drank it about 3 days later, the flatness was gone and it was easier to drink.

I was supposed to go camping today but cancelled due to rain 😩I wanted to go to the liquor store on the way to the campground 😭 So since we were drinking at home, we opened a bottle of Kamo Kanehide that we had stocked up on. Sake made by brewers from rice 🍶I know it's a lot of work, but it's a life I kind of long for 🙂. It is well-balanced and delicious.

Hatsukame's limited-edition, made-to-order product. They are only squeezed for the orders they receive. Sake from Shizuoka is really good because you don't have to choose what to eat with it. It has sweetness and bitterness, but it is well-balanced and not too assertive, so it goes well with anything. Today I served it with oysters and ahi jio. As the red-haired pirate said, the best sake is the one from your hometown. I want to tell people that there are many other delicious sakes in Shizuoka besides Isobojiman.

One purchased on a trip to Okayama. It is a brand I am very familiar with. When I opened the bottle, there was a faint smell of cemedine. The first sip was sweet, but the second sip left a rather dry impression. The aftertaste is refreshing. This seems to go well with everything. It gets you drunk.
