At the Sake Cost Sake Brewery.
My friend, who accompanied me for a drink, suggested I try some local sake, so I ordered some.
It is Hana-no-Mai, isn't it?
We also ordered yakitori to go with the sake. It was delicious.
On a rare business trip to Tokyo, I had the opportunity to stop by a sake costing brewery that I had hoped to visit someday.
I had one beer beforehand at a standing bar in Shinbashi, so I started with sake 🍶.
There are plenty of snacks to go with the sake, but I guess the cheap sake makes the other items a bit more expensive.
Since we were there, I started with a brand I had never seen before. Saishu.
It was sweet and tasty.
Zoro 333 check in 🫢.
How do you keep up with your boredom?
Since it's a bit of a special number, I open a bottle of Jizokon, which I got after saving up my points card at my favorite liquor store.
Part of my work is finished on Friday. I managed to get it approved, even though it was messed up, so it's a little reward for me 😋.
Fruity aroma☺️ sweetness and a little bitter sourness, tangy, it can be served alone but also with a meal.
I usually don't buy a bottle so I can enjoy it a lot👍.
Congratulations on your 333 check-in, Hinna 🎉🎉🎉!
I love that you can drink a metaphysical now on your Zoro ✨You've had a hard day's work 💦Celebrate and heal at the same time 😊.
It has become much colder today. It's time to drink hot sake.
I bought some sake for heating sake when I went shopping this month, but I didn't know I'd be opening it so soon 😅.
This is also my first brand. I've been thinking of having it someday, but haven't been able to get my hands on it yet.
We enjoyed it with sukiyaki.
Years ago, when I was still a serious road bike rider myself, I took an annual expedition to Matsumoto with my cycling friends. A fun trip of hircula by day and Nagano wine and sake by night. I had a drink with Mr. Soga once at that time.
It has acidity like white wine and sweetness like sake. Like apple, like grape.
Delicious sake 🍶.
I bought it in September, but it's past the quality assurance expiry date for fresh sake 😅 from there on it tastes like a maniac and.... It doesn't taste that maniacal, but I guess it was well preserved by the liquor store.
It is one of the brands I buy when I see it for sale at liquor stores.
Again, it is sweet and tasty. There is really no disappointment.
I think it is getting harder and harder to buy as it becomes more popular, but that can't be helped. I will buy it again when I come across it.
I remember drinking a bottle of Houou Mita at a store last year and enjoying it. I saw it at a liquor store and bought it.
The aroma was gorgeous. After the apple-like sweetness, I felt a tingling sensation on my tongue. Seems like it was a bit easier to drink last year? Maybe I'm misremembering because I drank it in a drinking contest😅.
It was quite a gorgeous type of sake.
For dinner, we decided to have squid sashimi from Yobuko, which we received as a gift from our hometown. After some hesitation, I chose Hatsukame sake.
I had drunk two kinds of this special junmai series, both of which were delicious, so I had high expectations for this sake.
It was a refreshing sake. It seems to be easy to match with anything. The squid sashimi was also delicious.
Takasago Sake Brewery is located just around the corner from Asama-taisha Shrine. It has a direct sales store, so be sure to stop by when you visit Asama-taisha Shrine 🍶.
This time I went to my parents' house and they bought some for me.
It is said to be +10 dry, but is it really that hot? It's a bit spicy at +10, but it's not that spicy 🤔It's refreshing, but you can taste the sweetness as well, very tasty 😋.
My parents came over for their daughter's presentation. They requested to go back to the pub we had taken them to before, so we used it for dinner. The restaurant was thriving. Good thing we made reservations 😊.
There was a brand of sake I had never heard of, so I ordered it. It was clear, sweet, and had no cloying taste. Very easy to drink.
I don't think I drank too much, but I don't feel well today. I took a nap and recovered a little. ❤️🩹
I searched for sake-no-wa and got a hit, but when I put in the brand name, there were no options and I registered as new. What is this sometimes 🤔?
Good evening, Hinna 😃.
I like the izakaya 🏮 dinner with your parents 🏮 at ‼️ 🤗The sake 🍶 will go well with the delicious looking sashimi 😋.
I'm sure there are some brands posted, but when I try to add one, there is no choice 🤔.
Finally, a new episode of "Wednesday Night Live" has started airing in Aichi 🙌Will watch it slowly while having a glass of wine with dinner.
The first night took an unexpected turn. As usual, TV common sense doesn't apply to this show 🤣.
And the sake also tastes different from what I expected. It tastes more like a lemon sour than sake. I thought it would have a strong citric acidity because of the white malted rice, but this is already lemon. And it is not sweet. I can't drink it in a gulp, but it is a lemon sour😅.
Hinna Good evening ^ ^
The new Wednesday ✨.
I checked to see if I wanted to watch it and it was already on in Shizuoka 😱.
I see that the Tenmei here is low in alcohol.
I would love to drink it😊.
This is also a first issue.
I bought this on a trip to Ishikawa.
I thought the Mid-Autumn Moon was a full moon, but the next one will be in seven years. I drink it with taro while watching the moon.
It has a slightly yellowish tinge. The aroma of cemedine is quite strong. Strong acidity, then bitterness. Good sharpness.
A good food sake.
Manjusen is another brand that is new to us.
I received it as a souvenir from my trip to Toyama. Thank you for everything😊.
I was told that it is a sake that is gentle to the body and does not make you tired of drinking. I have a feeling I'm going to love it.
When I drank it, it was exactly as I expected. It is sweet but refreshing and really easy to drink. It's delicious and easy to drink.
Since it was given to me as a gift, I'm going to keep it so I don't finish it all at once.
One bottle I purchased on my trip to Kanazawa was from my first brand, Naohiko Noguchi Institute.
I bought it without looking closely at the specs and it was not Junmai 😅The vintage is 2018, which means it is 5 years old?
Today's side dish was simmered lotus root and taro. I opened the bottle thinking that the local sake from Ishikawa Prefecture should go well with it.
At the beginning, it's so refreshing and fruity that I can't believe it's 5 years old, but later it has a solid umami taste. I don't think it has much of an aged feel to it. It is a very well-balanced sake. It goes well with simmered dishes.
The simmered dishes were gone in no time. I still have more to eat and drink 🤨.
I went to Kanazawa on a trip to support my beloved team, which also included sightseeing.
The team won a great victory ✊.
We went shopping at Sake Front Kitanaka, which we had researched beforehand. It was close to the sightseeing spots and had a wide selection of Ishikawa's local sake. I was hoping to find a sake that I could only buy in Kanazawa, and I found a good one 😊.
After getting home safely and feeling a little hungry, I decided to have a drink, so I opened the bottle.
Aroma with a sense of maturity. At first I thought it would be a little refreshing, but later I found it to be full of umami. It is a dark, umami, and spicy sake, very typical of Ishikawa Prefecture.
I would like to try it hot, so I will keep it.
Second time naturall ZERO
I bought it in the summer and had it in the fridge waiting its turn.
I started with the top clear.
Mmmm, lactic and sour like cheese. There is no sweetness, and I guess it is better to drink it with light snacks than to drink it alone.
Let's mix some oriki later.
Camping ⛺️ takes you to Achi Village, which has the best starry sky in Japan.
Along the road to the campground, across from the roadside station in Hiratani, is a liquor store with what appears to be an original brand. If you are lost, this is the one! I bought it, believing in the pop-up saying, "If in doubt, this is the one!
The second day, we went to the hot spring in Nuchigami, ate fresh soba noodles, and went home. It was a satisfying 2 days.
We were full of beer🍺 at the camp, so we opened the bottle after we got home.
Oh, it's delicious. Fruity sweetness and sourness. Then a little classical sake feeling. It is easy to drink and goes well with thick fried bean curd and sakiyaki, so I drank too much 😵.
Tomorrow is my paid vacation, but I have a lot to do to clean up afterwards.
Today's dinner is vegetable meat rolls 🥓.
I'm planning the menu, so there are a lot of basic snacks in our house😅.
Well, all the open sake was gone yesterday, so I'm opening a new bottle. Rabbit and Tortoise, which I bought at the summer Choho Festival.
It's a pun as it was stored in the hearth. The rabbit is also skipping.
It tastes sour and bitter. I don't know how it changes with storage in a kame, but Ni-Rabbit is consistently tasty.
The other day, I went away for a bit with the kids on summer vacation🏃♂️ wife is working. After letting the kids play as long as they wanted, we stopped by a liquor store that we usually don't get to.
I was looking around to see what I could get my hands on, and I noticed the 👀Garakuyo that I see every once in a while at Sake no Wawa. I thought about buying another bottle, but I didn't want to make the kids wait too long 😅.
Today's side dish is vegetable meatballs. There is still some Shidaizumi left, but I opened it.
It has umami and sweetness, but it disappears quickly and doesn't leave any aftertaste. There is no bitterness or spiciness.
It is a good all-around type.
