My favorite sake, stable taste. If there is Hakkaisan at an izakaya, this is my first choice.
On the way home from the gym. I order a small bottle of Hakkaisan and drink it with yakitori and motsu-ni.
Searching for a heated and cosy sake that I can drink on a daily basis.
Delicious, but a little assertive. I'd like a sake that is a little more refreshing.
Checking the website to learn more about sake. The homepage is not very well designed. Perhaps because it's in Yamagata, I felt the company was concerned about the quality of their sake, such as the survey data on radiation levels.
I'm on a search for a good sake that tastes great warmed up and is a good cost.
I like sake from Hyogo, so I'll choose this one.
Well, it's tasty, but a bit sweet. I prefer it a little more light and easy to drink.
I got a bonus, so I thought I'd get a little better sake, so I went to the liquor store and looked at the shelves of slightly more expensive liquors. I decide to try this one today, "Kozen Josui."
At first, when I drink it heated, the first sip tells me that it is meant to be drunk cold. My wife tells me that her father used to drink this sake. When I drink it cold, I think, "Well, it tastes good, but it's just like water and I feel it's not enough.
After going to Bic Camera to buy a new razor blade, I stopped by the sake corner in the basement. I found "Asakai" and bought it.
I go home, put my bag down, and continue down the hallway. My wife and two daughters were already asleep in the next room, so I gently closed the door and turned on the kitchen light to keep the light out. There is a dinner for one on the table, and it is covered with plastic wrap. I take off the plastic wrap and prepare to eat, prepare a glass, open the Asa, pour it straight into the glass, and sip.
A woman I was working with told me that when she went to Iwate on a business trip the other day, she was so impressed with the local cuisine and the sake that she has been hooked on sake ever since.
I wonder how she is doing, how much fun we had working on that project, etc., as I reminisce about the past and drink a little more sake than usual. I put the dishes away in the sink, brush my teeth, and prepare for bed. After that, I got into the futon next to my eldest daughter and fell asleep.
I continue to compare and contrast the cost-effective sake available at my local supermarket. I have not been able to find any expensive sake that really hit my taste buds, but this one has been a hit for a long time. It's a little dry, but I think it goes well with sake. It might be good to drink this one once in a while.
My wife gives me a gift as it is Valentine's Day. It was the "number one hot sake according to Nikkei" that I had written down because I wanted to drink it someday. When drunk warmed, it has a rich sweet and spicy flavor.
It has been featured in many books, and as someone who likes heated sake, I am a Saitama and wanted to try it.
I bought it and had a glass at room temperature.
What's that? It seems to be a shochu. It has a peculiar taste. Maybe it's because it's a sake for hot sake...
The next day, I drank it lukewarm. Hmm? It tastes like shochu. It tastes a little like shochu.
I was just reading "The Most Delicious Sake in the World" by Osamu Furukawa. He is pushing Shinkame as a good sake. I gradually increased the temperature of the warmed sake and drank it. The first feeling of discomfort was certainly relieved, but the aftertaste was still shochu-like, and I was not satisfied.
I was having a hard time thinking about my job and went to have a drink with my wife's father, who was a plant manager at a fairly large company, to talk about his work. The father-in-law buys him a bottle of Kubota, but he says, "It's not cold, is it?" and he drinks the Yoneyo, which his father-in-law always drinks, over a pot of rice. I couldn't talk about the work I wanted to do, but I was glad that I could have a drink like this and went home alone.
I arrived the day before my business trip to Hiroshima. I wandered around the hotel and found that there were many small izakaya (Japanese style pubs). We enter a good-looking kushiyaki (skewered grilled chicken) restaurant. I order some yakitori (hormone, tonoro, etc.), mino ponzu, and heated Miwazakura, a Japanese sake from Hiroshima. It seems like the locals gather here. It's a nice restaurant.
They serve oden by themselves, which is a fun custom. Let's have another glass of sake.

I ask for more sake, another glass of "Amego no Tsuki", and some oden tofu and onions. I ordered another sake, and got oden tofu and onions with mustard and yuzu kosho (Japanese citrus pepper). Neither of them are very tasty, but it is nice to have them with sake at a place like this.
I think to myself, not listening to the owner's conversation with the regular customers. I used to like talking to strangers in such restaurants, but lately I feel like I'm too lazy to do so. I find it boring to talk to people. No, I wonder what interesting things I can talk to other people about. Have I become a boring person?
I feel a little unsatisfied, but I pay the bill and quickly leave the restaurant.
After preparing for the office relocation, I go to an izakaya with a colleague from another section (Namie Amuro oshi) who had come on a business trip with me after work. It is our first time drinking together, but we talk a lot! We talk to the lady at the izakaya and ask her for her recommendation. We order gansu, grilled oysters, sea urchin, spinach, and more. Delicious!
After ordering beer, we drink some local sake.

After work on the Hiroshima relocation is over, I go out for a drink with a contractor I worked with. We talk about each other's children and housework. We enjoy drinking at an izakaya that grills fish and other items, and order some heated sake. Yesterday we drank Kame sake, so today it's Tsuru sake.

Drinking at a cheap bar, I think it goes well with the snacks. I think Niigata sake is the right choice for me. I used to drink "Takano-i", but I think I'll switch to this regularly.
I have moved and need to find a liquor store again. Sake refugee.
I find it at a cheap supermarket and buy it to see. I wonder if it's not good for heating up...
I had a drinking party with my former colleagues and asked for the second glass of sake to be heated.
I was surprised to find that the sake tasted terrible, as if I was being served some old, cheap sake. What is this sake?
I thought to myself, "This sake shouldn't be that bad. I thought it shouldn't be that bad, so I asked for it cold. Or maybe it's the restaurant. The waiter didn't understand what I meant when I asked him to heat it up, and he probably brought it to me in a very hot state because he had heated it up so much in the microwave, so I guess it was ruined.
How to drink, how to choose a restaurant, I learn everyday.
After going to the gym, I went to a standing bar in front of the station to replenish my energy. Two beers in a row with tofu and onion slices. After that, I opt for a beer. Oko's sake is what my father used to drink every night, so I order a heated one. It's pretty good. When I get back to work, I'll buy some more sake and go home.
