Inexpensive. Purchased on the recommendation of Sake Ojiro.
Polishing ratio 50%.
I drank it with no prior knowledge.
Well, I tried it with no prior knowledge...!
It's so bitter! LOL!
What's more, it's spicy with umami!
It is different from the dry, light, dry taste.
I like sweet sake, but it's been a long time since I've had a level of dryness like this.
To be honest, I wasn't sure if it was delicious or not. LOL!
But I don't dislike it.
The price is very cheap, so I would recommend it to anyone who likes dry!
I'm curious about some of the sake levels...
No repeats so far, but if you've had it and know of any sake or recommendations on how to drink it, please let me know!
A 23-year-old product that was sold at a reduced price.
How to drink:Room temperature
Aroma: Pure sake-like aroma. No fruity notes.
Taste: Slight sweetness, but basically a very refreshing aftertaste. No need for snacks. It can be enjoyed on its own.
I received a set of 8 bottles from Costco to compare, so I started with Kita-Akita.
I had already had Junmai Daiginjo, so I omitted it.
It's gorgeous and light, with a touch of daiginjo in the mouthfeel.
Considering the price range and availability, it is delicious enough!
I honestly can't tell the difference between it and Jun Daigin.

first sip
The texture from the tip of the tongue is very soft
It starts with a flavorful mouthfeel with a hint of sweetness 🌙
The moment you put it in your mouth
The mellow aroma fills your mouth with a rush of flavor.
What's strange is that the aroma passes down your throat and then leaves your nose...
This one is like enjoying the mellow umami that lingers in your mouth for a while 🍶.
I end up savoring every sip.
It is a very elegant and delicious sake.
