At Hama Sushi. I wanted to drink heated sake, but there was only Kasen bottle on the menu. I thought sake should be served with sushi. This is my first time drinking Kaisen, and it's quite tasty. I think Hama Sushi is the most cost-effective among conveyor-belt sushi chain restaurants. Too noisy and not enough variety of sushi. The taste of sushi is quite good.

Sweetness with a freshness like champagne. From the name, I had imagined a more subdued sake, but this was unexpected. Info. Ingredient rice: Hanabukiyuki Rice polishing ratio 55 Alcohol content 15.5 Sake degree ±0 Acidity 1.5 Location I was having a drink with an old friend in Kichijoji for the first time in years. The restaurant we were planning to go to was fully booked, so we wandered around the Tokyu area looking for a place to eat. The crowd was quite large, probably because Corona had calmed down. We found an izakaya with good sake and fish, though it was a little expensive. We are happy to find a good place to drink. Since using Sake-no-Wa, I have been wanting to drink sake, which has a good reputation and is expensive.

The first cup was the first non-heated sake I had ordered in a long time, and I had forgotten how to drink it, so I spilled it. (1) Take the sake from the cup that has been passed down the line. (2) Spilled sake from the sake cup (3) Taste the sake from the cup and drink it. Hmmm, this one is sweet too. It's delicious, though. As a lover of heated sake, I would have liked to have it heated to see the difference in taste, but I had other sake to drink, so I held back. Info. Junmai Unfiltered Nakadori When I took a sip, I thought it was a strangely beautiful sake. It tastes beautiful. Delicious, but too sweet for me. I savor it even though it is the first sip. I think I have changed the way I drink sake. I enjoy good sake with good food in small quantities. My #1 ranked sake in "Everyday Evening Drinks" It's getting cold again, so I bought a box of it online. (Beer in summer, heated in winter). A glass of warmed sake. It still has a soothing taste. Not too bright, not too complex, just plain delicious. Lately, I've been wanting to drink a variety of sake because of "Sake-no-wa" (annoying, isn't it? I've been expanding my palate, but I've come to appreciate the taste of sake that I'm used to drinking when I eat my usual meals with my family.

Junmai Ginjo, Kitakata rice, 60% polished rice, 16% alcohol Drink at room temperature. Sweet and fruity. Drink warmed. The sweetness and fruity flavor has softened to my liking. Once again, I think I don't like sweet sake. Purchase of a new bottle of sake On the way back from taking the TOEIC test, I got off the train and stopped by "Makoto-ya", thinking that it had been a while since I had been in this area and that there was a liquor store that looked good, although I had never been there before. There were a lot of shochu and some sake to try, but I didn't have anything I wanted to drink, so I wandered around the store. If possible, I wanted to try some of the sake recommended by "Sake-no-wa," but they didn't have any. There are many local sake. I think it is a very good store, but what I want to drink now is not local sake, so I bought "Maruto" and "Yoshinogawa" which are reasonable and I have not drunk yet.

Maruto Junmai-shu Namemoto-zukuri Boxed 1.8L First at room temperature. Surprisingly, Nagano sake doesn't strike me as a good sake, but I found this one to be very good. I think I like "nama-moto" sake. It has a rich umami flavor with a refreshing feeling. I also tried it heated. I think it tastes better at room temperature. The freshness is not enough when heated up. I order the third glass of old sake "Kuranomori" at "Seiryu Garden Sawanoi En". I have always been interested in old sake, but this was my first time. The color is yellowish and tastes like shochu. It was probably the most pleasant sake I have ever had here. It was a nice autumn day and many people were drinking outside. It is such a happy thing to be able to drink good sake in such a natural setting at a reasonable price. I want to come again.

I ordered a second glass of "Tokyo Kuranin" at "Seiryu Garden Sawanoi En," and was happy to get a 100 yen discount on the second glass, which was only 100 yen per glass. I still like "Namahashimoto Ginjo". It is delicious.

After hiking in Okutama, we got off at Sawai Station and went to "Seiryu Garden Sawanoi-en". It is almost heavenly to be able to enjoy delicious sake at a reasonable price & while viewing the clear autumn stream. First, we ordered the recommended "Houou" sake. The price was 500 yen per glass, including the sake cup. It was delicious. It is refreshing and easy to drink, yet has a strong umami flavor. Sawanoi is a sake I used to drink often. The taste of Sawanoi is also memorable, but it has a refined taste. After ordering, I realized that this sake costs 1.8L/12,000 yen!

Junmai sake, 65% polished rice ratio, Miyamanishiki My daughter wanted to go to the Shibusawa Eiichi Memorial Museum. After that, we went to a roadside station and bought a bottle of Kikusen. When I traveled to a place, I wanted to taste the local sake. We drank it at home at dinner time. It was delicious. Mellow, smooth, umami. I think it is my favorite sake for Saitama.

I drank it at an izakaya in Hyogo many years ago and thought it was cheap and tasty, but I had forgotten about it. Since then, I have been drinking Kikumasamune heated as my winter evening drink. The taste is stable. It is better heated than at room temperature.

Iho Received as a souvenir from Sado Island by my father-in-law. It is dry. It is served at room temperature. I used to think that I liked dry sake, but this sake made me realize that I like sake that is not so dry.

Since about three years ago, I have been drinking sake in winter. I buy "Takano-i" at Yaoko. It tastes good for the price (1,700 yen) and is the most cost-effective (or maybe even tastiest?) sake among those sold at Yaoko. I drink it most often. When I bought it today, it was labeled "Japan's Largest Heated Sake Contest 6th Gold Award". They're doing a great job! But is it really?

I went back to my parents' house for New Year's Eve, and they always have a keg of sake ready for me to enjoy. This year it was Kuroryu. The aroma of hinoki cypress warmed up in the barrel makes me happy.

Business trip to Osaka. I am not quite sure what Osaka sake is, but I still want to drink the local sake. After work, I went to an izakaya near my hotel and ordered some Osaka sake. Well, it was not so good.

Business trip to Himeji. We had Himeji oden at a popular izakaya (Japanese style bar). Hyogo is Japan's largest producer of sake, and I was tempted to try some. It has been a long time since I drank sake cold, but it is delicious. It is indeed delicious.

Small Bottle with Boar's Nose On a business trip to Hyogo. This is the sake that is sold in every store in Himeji. You can see the big sign from the station. I found it at a store before boarding the Shinkansen and bought it. Scallops, dried octopus, and nodara are also cheap at 150 yen each, and I ended up buying three of them. I couldn't drink it on the bullet train, so I bought it at home later. The design of the sake cup is interesting, and the taste is quite good for the price. It was fun.

A representative sake of Hokkaido. Purchased on a business trip to Hokkaido. When I returned home, I drank it with my father. My father drinks Akagisan hot throughout the year. We bought a boxed bottle for a reasonable price, but it tasted a bit bland, perhaps because it was a honjozo sake. While drinking, I listened to my father talk about his work in the vineyard. He told me that this year he worked hard growing green beans and tomatoes. I have come to realize that vegetables taste good, too.
