On the way back from climbing Mt. Gozen, stop by Sawanoi Garden. Sawanoi tasting and buy two snacks. After going here several times, I have found out one thing: the sake is best at the right time of the year. The sake of the season is the best (and strangely enough, it doesn't taste so good when you buy it and drink it at home) I think again that good sake has to travel. Sawane, delicious, and I have two more cups. It was crowded because it was the middle of the GW season, so we went indoors, had a quick drink, and left. I would really like to relax when it's empty and eat with the food on sale outside. Well, let's come back again.

I went to Aeon to drink some good sake at least at the beginning of the year. I remember that the last time I drank sake, it was not so good, but I wanted to support local sake, so I bought some again. It has a reputation for being delicious when heated. We have started another sake subs this year. This year, KURAND, the sake arrives just when I forgot about it. I tried it without much expectation and found it to be very tasty. Not too fruity, but mellow. The sake was good, not too fruity, but mild. Suddenly I remembered that the price of this sake was 3,500 yen. I thought, "For this amount and at this price, I can drink good sake. Perhaps this is a service for those who have had good sake but are looking for something more rare and tasty. There is the advantage of not having to choose and carry your own sake, but I decided to quit the subs because I would rather choose and buy one bottle a month of the sake I want to drink.

Sake Tasting Quest #3 My #1 but cheapest sake. I usually drink it heated. I tell myself that I feel more at ease with this kind of sake. The "Sake Tasting Quest" is an interesting project. I'd like to continue it, since there's going to be a sequel. As long as I say I love Japan, I'd like to be able to describe the taste a little more accurately.

Sake Tasting Quest #1 I like this kind of playful stuff, so I just had to buy it! Tasting Sake Quest. I tried tasting three different sakes in a row to see if I could improve my taste-deafness. I tasted three sakes and answered five questions, and the results were 0/5 I'm depressed. My 3rd best sake out of 3 types.

My brother told me that he had some good sake, so I decided to bring some good sake with me when I returned to my hometown and went to Goto Sake Shop, which I had wanted to visit for a long time. When I entered the store, I found my favorite "skunk cabbage" and fell in love with this store. I decide on "Meikyojosui" because the characters are nice and I think I've heard of it before. I forgot to take it with me when I went back home, so I drank it alone at home. It has a strong rice flavor, which I also like. However, I prefer it warmed up in the cold season.

I found some sake at an Aeon and bought it. It was a brand that I had been recommended at an izakaya before and could not forget. I decided to procure sake at a nearby liquor store (though it is an Aeon). They say "good sake never travels," and I decided to make a local contribution, so I picked some up. I've had it before, but what was it like? I went home and had a glass. It's a delicious junmai sake, even when heated. But as I continued drinking it, I felt it was lacking something. I saw an article on the web that said it was the No. 1 sake that goes well with warmed sake, and I knew I had to try it. I found it on sale at AEON, so I bought it. Cold brewed Junmai Ginjo I wanted to stop after two glasses, but it was impossible. I had my third cup at Sawanoi-en. It is full-bodied and delicious. Kyoto Marathon Finished! When I returned home the next day, my wife gave it to me. I'm glad. The package is also good to feel spring. It is quite tasty. I didn't have much of an image of Yamanashi sake. I might try another one.
