It is unexpectedly light, almost like calpis. Perhaps because it was still cold, the unique bran smell of mai-bijin was subdued. It reminded me of Kawatsuru's Sanuki Kuraudei.
When you put it in your mouth, the elegant sweetness spreads at once and the umami comes a little later. It is light and easy to drink without being heavy. It is said to have won the highest award in the Junmai-shu category of the 2023 Yamaguchi Prefecture New Sake Competition, and we are very happy to be able to drink such a sake at a reasonable price and at home.
A sake to support the recovery of Noto. It has a unique aroma and umami. When you drink it, the umami is followed by sourness and a hint of bitterness.
One of my favorite drinks. I got it for the first time this season. As usual, the umami flavor comes through quickly and easily. It's also good as heated sake.
When I first saw the label at the store, I thought, "What is this four-letter word? I couldn't read the kanji. After opening the bottle, the aroma was good, and the soft sweetness spread and lingered for a long time. I felt the umami in the next sip. I'm going to stop reporting now.
Purchased at the brewery tour. When I drank it at the brewery, I felt it was still young, so I drank it a little later. It had a nice aroma and was surprisingly strong. It became very tasty.
