This is Nabe-sama's Special Junmai🙂 which I drink a bottle of every year. It is dry, but has a good amount of sweetness and acidity, and the fact that it is so smooth and crisp makes it a stable attraction: ☺️ It has an excellent balance and is an ace from Kyushu's sake kingdom, Saga 👏. Thank you for the food 🙏🙏.

Yamazan has become one of our favorite brands since it started being sold at local stores. ❤️ This time it is brewed with a rice from Nagano called Kinmon-Nishiki, which we are not familiar with. 💁‍♂️ Is this really made from rice? The taste is a well-balanced combination of sweetness, acidity, and a touch of sizzle. Oh my, it's so good! I'm looking forward to another Yamazan 😊.

It will be a gift🙏. This is a special junmai from Morinori brewed by Okada Honke in Kakogawa, Hyogo Prefecture. It was recommended to me by someone who knows a lot about Japanese sake. It is fresh and has a refreshing taste with a richness that is typical of Gohyakumangoku and can be enjoyed while savoring the sake. ☺️

Sakurahime" is Ehime's original flower variety, and this product is brewed with rice, water, and people from Ehime, using the flower yeast isolated from this flower. This all-Ehime sake has a sweet aroma, a slight sourness, and a mildly pleasant taste. Seiryu Brewery also makes chic sake👍

It seems like a long time ago that the cherry blossom season was in full swing in these days of heat 😑. This year, I was able to get some 🐈🌸sake just in time for the cherry blossom season, so I savored it while thinking about the passing season 😌. The third picture is hard to recognize, but it's a cat looking at the cherry blossoms 🐈.

Blue label Tedorigawa 👀 that I chose because I felt a strong self-assertion on the store shelf. I imagined it to be gory and dry, but it was fruity, juicy and easy to drink â It was a delicious sake with a modern taste 😋.

Takasago sake is made at several breweries across Japan, most notably at Kiyamasa's in Jikkoman, but this Shizuoka version, Takasago, is made with water from Mt. I would like to drink it again 😋.

A local store started carrying Yamasan, so I picked up a bottle of the light nigori from the lineup and had it 😙. It's a popular brand at Sake-no-wa, so it's juicy and delicious 😆. It's going to be one of my favorites! I will try other Yamasan again!

I've been absent again since February, but I'm back to posting. For now, I'm going to put in what I drank since last time for the record (so rice is mostly omitted. I'm sorry) 😅 Here's a sake with the number 100, after the number of check-ins 😙. It's full-bodied and well-balanced, and I enjoyed the umami that is typical of Snow Kayasha👍.

I've had a lot of Harushika, but this is the first time I've had the Risshun Morning Press 😋. I didn't have a reservation, but it just happened to be on sale at the store and I was able to get one of the two bottles left! According to the store owner, the rice was harder this year and the taste was more refreshing than usual, but it was fresh, sweet and umami, and as expected from Harushika👍. I think I'll pre-order next year 😚.

There is no sign of snow in Nara yet.... Again, a sake related to snow 🍶. This is another one I want to drink every year: ❗️ Yamada Nishiki version of Snoclet 😆. The sake here is also addictive and has a different dimension of deliciousness 😋. The juiciness with a hint of bitterness, fresh acidity, and umami is irresistible😇. I'm so happy to be able to drink this at home!

We managed to get it this year💦. Popular Winter Sake Snowman⛄️ Looks really good from the outside 🤤. The supernatant is dry and refreshingly delicious. When mixed with the lees, it adds silky sweetness and a full, unique taste that's hard to resist😇. It rarely snows in Nara, but I'd love to try this sake and savor the snow 🤭.

This time we received 🙏. It is called Misen, another brand of Naeba Shuzo, famous for its brewing forest. It is a junmai daiginjo, and is quite refreshing. It does not have the juiciness of Kakusumori, but it has a subtle, elegant sweetness that makes it easy to drink. It was easy to match with Japanese side dishes in our house. Thank you very much for the master's hospitality 🙏.

I had always seen Nozomu San at the Osaka Takashimaya sales floor and was curious to finally buy it 😅. I was attracted by the heavy color and imposing letters on the label, so I chose this pure rice sake with a traditional sake yeast yeast yeast yeast yeast yeast. It has a nice fruity and dry taste with just the right amount of acidity from the sake yeast. I wanted to try it heated, but I went all out with the cold sake: ☺️

As the season calls for it, nigori sake is on the rise 🍶. This is a lightly nigori uncured sake from Shinomine, a famous sake brewery in Gosho, Nara: ❗️ I am attracted by the elegant, unpretentious label 😋. The aroma is fresh and invigorating, as is typical of freshly squeezed sake. Juicy, sweet and delicious with a hint of bitterness. It has a nice sharpness too 😆. The cost for a four-pack is only 1,250 yen. Shinomine is great in any season 😇 I'd like to try the non-nagori version 😚.
