The nose has a complex ginjo aroma with a slight hint of vanilla from the barrel. The taste is balanced and soft, with a sense of volume perhaps due to the aging process. It has a unique Nara-zuke (pickles) flavor. I did not detect any oak-derived tannins. Repeat Score 1.5

A four-part bottle at Maruhachi for about 1,000 yen. The stylish Nishijin-weave-like label caught my attention. The taste is quite refreshing. It is not without the umami of rice, but... In any case, it is a unique sake.

The day after I got drunk with the members of Sake-no-wa, I was at a banquet with people from my company. I thought I couldn't drink, but I did. Good children should not imitate me. It is a refreshing drink, but the bitter taste is good and delicious. It tastes as good as Soujitsuyu, so if you dilute it four times, it might be good for your liver!

I was attracted by the limited edition of this KURA MASTER 2024 award-winning sake, so I bought it. I wondered if the aroma would be too strong since it is a junmai daiginjo sake. I thought it might have a strong aroma, but it didn't. It is a delicious sake.

The last of the day was Daiginjo by Sojiki. It has a gorgeous fruit-like aroma, elegant sweetness, and a soft texture. This has a luxurious taste. I might buy some and take it home. Rice used: Yamadanishiki Rice polishing ratio 40 Alcohol content: 15%.

Takashimaya Sake Festival Loot #2 I bought a completely unknown Shimane sake from the San'in Sake booth. The rice was Sakonishiki from Shimane Prefecture, a variety I had never heard of before. The staff was very nice and the tasting was impressive, so I bought a bottle 👛. The contents are as solid as the stylish label 😋. It's more of a classic type? It's not so strong and has a mildly sharp, mellow dry taste. It's easy to drink and good as a mid-meal drink 👍. I grilled some swordfish that my brother-in-law caught for me and drank it with the fish. I'm sure you can try some sake that you don't know. ☺️

Hi Hissan 😃 When I went to the sake festival, they were sold out of Junmai Ginjo and only the expensive Souji was left 😥. I bought Souji at Hanshin and was impressed with it so I would like to try a variety of it 😋.
